<0. overview >

In recent years, for example, a technique for recording activity information of a user to maintain the health of the user is known. For example, techniques have been disclosed for recording activity information of a user and presenting a physical condition to the user based on the activity information. According to this technique, the user can grasp the amount of activity required to maintain health. However, even if the user can grasp the amount of activity required to maintain health, it may be difficult to continue the required activity. For example, even if the physical condition based on the activity state of the user is presented to the user, there is a case where the awareness of the user to continue the activity cannot be sufficiently improved. Therefore, in this specification, a technique capable of enhancing awareness of a user of continuing activities will be mainly described.

In the foregoing, an overview of embodiments of the present disclosure has been described.

<1. details of examples >

Subsequently, details of embodiments of the present disclosure will be described.

[1.1. System configuration example ]

Fig. 1 is a diagram illustrating a configuration example of an information processing system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 1, the information processing system 1 includes a user terminal 10 (information processing device), a communication terminal 20, a server 50, a point of sale (POS) terminal 60, and a card reading device 70. Further, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the following case is mainly assumed: the server 50 is separated into the data acquisition server 30 (analysis device) and the data update server 40 (information processing device). However, the server 50 may be integrally formed instead of being separated into the data acquisition server 30 and the data update server 40.

The communication terminal 20, the data acquisition server 30, the data update server 40, and the POS terminal 60 are connected to the network 80, and can communicate with each other via the network 80. As described later in detail, the user terminal 10 includes a core unit 110 and a band unit 160. The core unit 110 may communicate with the communication terminal 20 through short-range wireless communication. Further, the belt unit 160 includes an Integrated Circuit (IC) chip 161, and the IC chip 161 can communicate with the communication terminal 20 via an antenna by non-contact wireless communication. The POS terminal 60 is connected to the card reading device 70 by wire or wirelessly.

In the above, a configuration example of the information processing system 1 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure has been described.

[1.2. configuration examples of units of user terminal ]

Subsequently, a configuration example of each unit of the user terminal 10 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure will be described. Fig. 2 is a diagram illustrating an example of an appearance of the user terminal 10 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 2, the core unit 110 may be attached to the band unit 160. That is, the user terminal 10 may take a state in which the core unit 110 and the band unit 160 are coupled to each other. Then, the band unit 160 may be worn on the arm of the user.

If the band unit 160 is worn on the arm of the user in a state where the core unit 110 and the band unit 160 are coupled to each other, the user can carry the core unit 110 without holding the core unit 110 in the hand of the user. A description will be given later of the advantage that a state in which the core unit 110 and the band unit 160 are coupled to each other can be taken in this manner. Further, the core unit 110 includes a display unit 115, an alarm function button 112a, a meal/bluetooth (registered trademark) (BT) button 112b, and a power button 112 c.

Core unit 110 may record activity information. In the embodiment of the present disclosure, it is assumed that the activity information includes a case of the number of steps, sleep time, and meal time of the user. However, the activity information does not necessarily include all of the user's steps, sleep time, and meal time, but may include at least one of the user's steps, sleep time, or meal time.

The number of steps of the user may be recorded based on the acceleration detected by the acceleration sensor. Further, sleep time may be recorded based on acceleration. That is, since the bedtime and the wake-up time of the user can be detected based on the acceleration, the two times can be recorded as the sleep time. Accordingly, if the band unit 160 is worn on the arm of the user in a state where the core unit 110 and the band unit 160 are coupled to each other, the number of steps and the sleep time can be automatically acquired.

On the other hand, the meal time may be recorded based on a predetermined operation by the user. For example, in a case where the user performs a predetermined operation (e.g., two-time pressing) on the meal/BT button 112b, the time at which the predetermined operation is performed may be recorded as the meal time. Note that, in the case where a predetermined operation (e.g., two-time pressing) is performed on the meal/BT button 112b, the display unit 115 may emit light in a predetermined color (e.g., orange, or the like).

Further, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, a case is assumed where the user terminal 10 has a waterproof function. In this case, even if the user bathes or swims in a swimming pool while wearing the user terminal 10, the user can avoid malfunction of the user terminal 10. In addition, the core unit 110 is combined with a replaceable battery, and is operated by power supplied from the replaceable battery. Therefore, there is no need to charge the battery.

Further, a long-press operation (e.g., an operation of holding the button down for several seconds, etc.) is performed on the power button 112c by the user, thereby switching on/off of the power. Further, a long-press operation (e.g., an operation of holding the button down for several seconds, etc.) is performed on the meal/BT button 112b, whereby a beacon radio wave for short-range wireless communication can be transmitted. A long-press operation (e.g., an operation of holding the button down for several seconds) is performed on the alarm function button 112a, thereby switching on/off of the alarm.

Fig. 3 is a diagram illustrating an example of an appearance of the belt unit 160. As shown in fig. 3, the band unit 160 may be in a state of being separated from the core unit 110. If only the band unit 160 is worn on the arm of the user in a state where the core unit 110 is separated from the band unit 160, the user can carry only the band unit 160 without carrying the core unit 110. Fig. 4 is a diagram illustrating an example of the appearance of the core unit 110. As shown in fig. 4, the core unit 110 may be in a state of being separated from the band unit 160.

In the above, a configuration example of each unit of the user terminal 10 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure has been described.

However, the display may be a liquid crystal display or an organic Electroluminescent (EL) display. Further, the core unit 110 may include an audio output device instead of the display unit 115 or together with the display unit 115, or may include a tactile sensation presentation device that presents tactile sensations to the user.

The communication unit 116 includes a communication circuit and has a function of performing communication with another device. For example, the communication unit 116 has a function of acquiring data from and providing data to other devices. In the embodiment of the present disclosure, a case is assumed where the communication unit 116 includes an antenna that performs communication with another device by short-range wireless communication by means of bluetooth (registered trademark) or the like. For example, the communication unit 116 transmits an ID (hereinafter also referred to as "core ID") for identifying the core unit 110 (device) to other devices by short-range wireless communication via an antenna.

Further, as shown in fig. 5, the belt unit 160 includes an IC chip 161 and an antenna 162. Hereinafter, these blocks included in the belt unit 160 will be described.

Further, IC chip 161 includes a processing device and a memory. The processing device controls contactless wireless communication with another device via the antenna 162. At this time, the processing device outputs an ID (hereinafter also referred to as "card ID") for identifying the IC chip stored by the memory to the antenna 162, and controls transmission of the card ID to other devices through the antenna 162.

The antenna 162 communicates with another device by noncontact wireless communication via FeliCa (registered trademark) or the like. Note that the standard of the noncontact wireless communication by the antenna 162 is not limited to FeliCa (registered trademark). For example, the antenna 162 transmits the card ID output from the IC chip 161 to other devices by noncontact wireless communication.

In the above, the functional configuration example of the user terminal 10 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure has been described.

[1.4. functional configuration example of communication terminal ]

Subsequently, a functional configuration example of the communication terminal 20 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure will be described. The operation unit 210 includes various input devices, and can acquire operation input by the user with the input devices. In the embodiment of the present disclosure, a case is assumed where the communication terminal 20 is a tablet terminal including a touch panel. That is, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, a case where the operation unit 210 includes a touch panel as an input device is mainly assumed. However, the type of input device is not limited to the touch panel. The type of the communication terminal 20 is not limited to a tablet terminal, and may be a notebook Personal Computer (PC) or a smart phone.

The control unit 220 performs control for each unit of the communication terminal 20. Note that the control unit 220 may include, for example, a Central Processing Unit (CPU) or the like. In the case where the control unit 220 includes a processing device such as a CPU, the processing device may include an electronic circuit.

In the above, a functional configuration example of the data update server 40 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure has been described.

[1.7. details of the function of information processing System ]

Subsequently, the functions of the information processing system 1 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure will be described in detail. Fig. 11 and 12 are diagrams for explaining details of the function of the information processing system 1 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure. Note that the following case is assumed: the user is a member of a predetermined facility, and the communication terminal 20 is a terminal installed in the predetermined facility. Here, the predetermined facility is not particularly limited.

As described above, the activity information of the user is recorded in the storage unit 114 of the core unit 110. For example, as shown in fig. 11, assume a case where the user accesses a predetermined facility while wearing the band unit 160 of the user terminal 10 on the arm in a state where the core unit 110 and the band unit 160 are coupled to each other.

When the user holds the user terminal 10 on the communication terminal 20, the antenna 162 transmits the card ID recorded on the IC chip 161 to the communication terminal 20 by non-contact wireless communication. In the communication terminal 20, the communication unit 240 receives the card ID by the noncontact wireless communication. Accordingly, login is performed to the communication terminal 20 by the user terminal 10 based on the card ID (S11). Note that, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, a case is assumed in which not only one user terminal 10 but also a plurality of user terminals 10 can simultaneously log in to the communication terminal 20.

On the other hand, in the core unit 110, the communication unit 116 transmits the activity information of the user and the core ID recorded in the storage unit 114 to the communication terminal 20 by short-range wireless communication (S12). In the communication terminal 20, the communication unit 240 receives the activity information and the core ID through short-range wireless communication. Also, the communication unit 240 transmits the activity information, the card ID, and the core ID to the data acquisition server 30 via the network 80 (S13).

In the data acquisition server 30, the communication unit 340 receives the activity information, the card ID, and the core ID from the communication terminal 20, and the acquisition unit 311 acquires the activity information, the card ID, and the core ID. The acquisition unit 311 acquires a user ID corresponding to the card ID and the core ID from the storage unit 330. Then, the analysis unit 312 obtains an analysis result of the activity information by analyzing the activity information. For example, the analysis result may be obtained by assigning the activity information to a predetermined arithmetic expression. The arithmetic expression may be prepared in advance, or may be updated based on the result of machine learning.

In the present embodiment, the following is mainly assumed: the analysis unit 312 of the data acquisition server 30 obtains the current health state of the user as an analysis result by analyzing the activity information. The health status may be a health score or the like that numerically indicates the user's health level. However, the analysis unit 312 may obtain the predicted future health state of the user by analyzing the activity information. In this case, it is sufficient to use the future health state instead of the current health state. For example, if machine learning is performed for temporal changes in activity information and health status, future health status will be predicted more accurately based on the results of the machine learning.

Alternatively, the analysis unit 312 does not have to analyze the activity information. In this case, it is sufficient to use the activity information itself acquired by the acquisition unit 311 instead of the health status. At this time, the data acquisition server 30 does not necessarily include the analysis unit 312. The communication unit 340 transmits the health status and the user ID obtained by the analysis unit 312 to the data update server 40 (S14).

In the data update server 40, the communication unit 440 receives the user ID and the health status from the data acquisition server 30. The determination unit 411 determines the incentive to be provided to the user based on the health status received by the communication unit 440. Then, the providing unit 412 provides the user with the incentive.

In the embodiment of the present disclosure, a case where the determination unit 411 determines a bonus value to be provided to the user as an incentive is mainly assumed. Then, it is mainly assumed that the providing unit 412 provides a case of incentive by updating the balance held by the user based on the bonus value. If the balance is updated based on the reward value (e.g., if the reward value is added to the balance), the user may use the reward value to receive the provision of a product or service, thereby possibly increasing the awareness of the user continuing the activity.

Further, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, a case where the bonus value is an integral of the electronic money is mainly assumed. That is, a case is mainly assumed where the point balance of the user is updated based on the points of the electronic money (for example, the points of the electronic money are added to the point balance of the user) (S15). However, the prize value may be a cash amount. That is, the user's account balance may be updated based on the cash amount (e.g., the cash amount may be added to the user's account balance).

Alternatively, the determination unit 411 may determine the type of product or the type of service to be provided as an incentive to the user. Then, the providing unit 412 may provide the incentive by associating the type of product or the type of service with the user (user ID). If an association is performed between the type of product or the type of service and the user (user ID), the user can receive the provision of the product or the service by using the association, so that it is possible to increase awareness of the user of continuing the activity.

The association between the type of product or the type of service and the user (user ID) may be used in any manner. For example, the providing unit 412 may send a coupon for the product or service to a user's computer (not shown) based on the association. Alternatively, the providing unit 412 may perform printing of a paper coupon for the product or service based on the association. The paper coupon may then be mailed to the user's address. In this case, the user can receive the provision of the product or service by using the coupon.

Alternatively, the providing unit 412 may transmit such information to a terminal of a provider of the product or the service, wherein the type of the product or the type of the service is associated with the user ID. In this case, the terminal of the provider may receive information in which the type of product or the type of service is associated with the user ID. Then, the provider confirms such information received by the terminal of the provider, in which the type of the product or the type of the service is associated with the user ID, so that the product or the service of the type associated with the user ID can be provided to the user identified by the user ID.

The method of determining the excitation is not particularly limited. For example, the determination unit 411 may determine the excitation if the health state exceeds a threshold, but may not necessarily determine the excitation if the health state is less than or equal to the threshold. For example, the determination unit 411 may determine the excitation if the health state belongs to the normal range, and may not necessarily determine the excitation if the health state does not belong to the normal range. At this time, the excitation may be predetermined.

Alternatively, the determination unit 411 may determine a different stimulus for each phase of the health state. For example, the determination unit 411 may determine the incentive such that the incentive is increased as the stage to which the health state belongs is more desirable. The phases and the stimuli may be associated with each other in advance. Further, in the case where the active state itself is used instead of the healthy state, the stimulus may be similarly determined. For example, in the case where the number of steps of the user exceeds a threshold, the incentive may be determined, or in the case where the number of steps of the user belongs to a certain stage, the incentive corresponding to the stage may be determined.

As described above, when a user is provided with a health-dependent incentive and the point balance is updated, the user may use more points from the updated point balance. Subsequently, a case where the user uses points from the updated point balance will be described.

Fig. 12 is a diagram for explaining a case where the user uses points from the updated point balance. In the example shown in fig. 12, a case is assumed in which the user accesses a shop where points can be used while wearing the band unit 160 of the user terminal 10 on the arm in a state in which the core unit 110 and the band unit 160 are coupled to each other. However, the user can visit the shop while wearing only the belt unit 160 on the arm. Note that the user may use the points at a place other than the store.

For example, when the user receives an offer of a product or service at a store (or the user orders a product or service at the store), and a payment amount for providing the product or service is input to the POS terminal 60, the belt unit 160 is held over the card reading device 70. Therefore, in the belt unit 160, the tag ID recorded on the IC chip 161 is transmitted by the antenna 162 through the non-contact wireless communication (S21). The card reading device 70 receives the tag ID from the belt unit 160.

When the tag ID is output from the card reading device 70 to the POS terminal 60, the POS terminal 60 sets the point corresponding to the payment amount as data for updating the point balance, and transmits the data for updating the point balance and the tag ID to the data updating server 40 via the network 80 (S22). In the data update server 40, the communication unit 440 receives data for updating points and tag IDs.

The output control unit 413 updates the integral balance associated to the tag ID by the storage unit 430 based on the data for updating the integral balance (for example, data for updating the integral balance subtracted from the integral balance corresponding to the tag ID). Accordingly, the user can receive the provision of the product or service by using the points. Further, the user can receive the provision of the product or service by using the points, thereby making it possible to increase the awareness of the user to continue the activity. Note that, although not shown in fig. 11 and 12, the information processing system 1 may include an electronic money server separate from the data update server 40. In this case, the POS terminal 60 may directly access the electronic money server in S22.

Hereinabove, the functions of the information processing system 1 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure have been described in detail.

<2. conclusion >

As described above, according to the embodiment of the present disclosure, there is provided the data update server 40 (information processing apparatus), the data update server 40 including the determination unit 411 and the providing unit 412, the determination unit 411 determining the incentive to be provided to the user based on the activity information of the user or the analysis result of the activity information, the providing unit 412 providing the incentive to the user. According to this configuration, the user is provided with an incentive to perform the activity, thereby making it possible to increase the awareness of the user to continue the activity.

Further, as described above, the core unit 110 and the band unit 160 may take a state of being coupled to each other. The band unit 160 may be used to receive the provision of a product or service (to purchase the product or service) by using a point balance or the like. Therefore, if the user wears the band unit 160 in a state in which the core unit 110 and the band unit 160 are coupled to each other on the arm to receive the provision of the product or service, the core unit 110 is naturally carried as well, thereby obtaining an advantage in that the activity information can be easily acquired by the core unit 110.

Also, the core unit 110 and the band unit 160 are separately formed. Therefore, processing using the point balance or the like can be realized by cooperation between the band unit 160 and the data update server 40. That is, the core unit 110 does not have to participate in processing using the point balance or the like. Therefore, even if the battery of the core unit 110 is used up, the process of using the integrated balance (electronic money) can be realized by the belt unit 160. In addition, the band unit 160 may be used as a membership card even if the battery of the core unit 110 is used up.

Further, for example, in the case of electronic money using a smartphone, setting work for the electronic money is required. On the other hand, in the case of using the electronic money of the user terminal 10 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure, it is not necessary to particularly perform the setting work for the electronic money. Therefore, according to the embodiments of the present disclosure, since electronic money can be used even if setting work for the electronic money is not performed, the user terminal 10 that can easily use electronic money even for children or the elderly can be realized.

In the foregoing, the preferred embodiments of the present disclosure have been described in detail with reference to the drawings, but the technical scope of the present disclosure is not limited to such examples. It is apparent that a person having common general knowledge in the technical field of the present disclosure can conceive various changes or modifications within the scope of the technical idea described in the claims, and naturally understand that these also belong to the technical scope of the present disclosure.

For example, in the above, the case where the incentive is provided to the user based on the activity information of the user (for example, the case where the point balance is updated) has been mainly described. However, the user may be provided with an incentive based on information other than the activity information. For example, in the case where the user holds the user terminal 10 on the communication terminal 20 and the user terminal 10 signs in an event, an incentive may be provided to the user. Alternatively, in the case where the user terminal 10 uses a predetermined application, an incentive may be provided to the user.

Alternatively, a case is also assumed in which the location information of the user terminal 10 can be detected based on a beacon transmitted by the user terminal 10. In this case, it is possible to provide an incentive to the user in the case where the location information of the user terminal 10 moves to a predetermined location. For example, the fact that the user is away from home may lead to health maintenance. Therefore, in the case where it is determined that the user terminal 10 has moved out of the house based on the location information of the user terminal 10 and the location information of the house of the user, an incentive may be provided to the user.

Further, the division of functions between the data acquisition server 30 and the data update server 40 is not particularly limited as long as the operation of the above-described server 50 is achieved. As a specific example, in the above, the case where the data update server 40 determines whether the health state of the user exceeds the threshold has been mainly described. However, the data acquisition server 30 may determine whether the health status of the user exceeds a threshold. In this case, in the case where the data acquisition server 30 determines that the health status of the user exceeds the threshold value, the data acquisition server 30 may transmit an incentive providing request and a user ID to the data update server 40.

Further, in the above, the case has been mainly described in which when the user ID corresponding to the card ID and the core ID is transmitted from the data acquisition server 30 to the data update server 40, the tag ID corresponding to the user ID is acquired in the data update server 40. However, the data acquisition server 30 may store information in which the card ID, the core ID, and the tag ID are associated with each other. In this case, the tag ID corresponding to the card ID and the core ID may be directly transmitted from the data acquisition server 30 to the data update server 40.

Further, in the above, the case where the data update server 40 stores the point balance is mainly described. However, the point balance may be stored by a device other than the data update server 40. For example, the point balance may be stored by the IC chip 161 of the band unit 160 of the user terminal 10. That is, in the case where the incentive is determined by the data update server 40, the point balance recorded in the IC chip 161 may be updated based on the point determined as the incentive.

Further, the effects described in the present specification are merely illustrative or exemplary, and are not restrictive. That is, the technique according to the present disclosure may achieve other effects that are obvious to those skilled in the art from the description in the present specification, in addition to or instead of the above-described effects.
