The water after doing work is discharged to the downstream through the tail water pipeline. The higher the water head and the larger the flow, the larger the output power of the water turbine is.

However, when the water turbine is used for water in an upstream reservoir, a large amount of impurities are contained in water flow, and after the water turbine is used for a long time, a large amount of impurities are accumulated in a shell of the water turbine, and the water turbine is finally blocked along with the continuous accumulation of the impurities. The maintenance of the hydraulic turbine unit is expensive, the disassembly of the hydraulic turbine unit is time-consuming and labor-consuming, the sealing effect of the hydraulic turbine unit is also affected, the sealing failure condition is easy to occur due to long-time repeated disassembly and assembly, and the normal operation of the hydraulic turbine unit is not facilitated.
