The invention relates to the field of modified precision casting silica sol, in particular to an organic reinforcing agent for modified precision casting silica sol.

Background

The precision casting has a very long history, the silica sol precision casting is novel precision casting which is developed along with the high precision requirement of airplane parts in the second war period, and the silica sol serving as a pure inorganic reinforcing agent has the characteristics of environmental protection, low cost and high-temperature strength, but also has the defects of slow drying, low wet strength, brittle and inelastic film and overlong production period. With the development of the petroleum industry, various organic reinforcing agents have been extensively developed. The organic reinforcing agent has the characteristics of high wet strength, good membrane toughness and quick drying, and the modified silica sol with perfect performance can be obtained by modifying the silica sol with a proper organic reinforcing agent. The silica sol for precision casting is an alkaline negatively charged SiO2 aqueous colloid with a particle size of 8-20nm, so that an organic reinforcing agent is generally required to be an aqueous organic substance, and the chemical stability and the fluidity of the silica sol colloid cannot be influenced. However, PVA, PVP and amides are mostly selected as the organic matters for modifying the silica sol at home, and the addition amount of the organic matters is only 0.01-1 percent, which is not enough to better improve the drying speed and the wet strength of the silica sol; the addition amount is large, so that the viscosity of the silica sol is increased too much, the fluidity of the silica sol is influenced, and meanwhile, the silica sol is easy to be accelerated to lose efficacy and has poor compatibility with the silica sol.

Disclosure of Invention

In order to solve the problems, the invention provides an organic reinforcing agent for modifying precision casting silica sol, which is well compatible with the silica sol and can improve the drying speed, the wet strength and the residual strength of a silica sol adhesive film.

In order to achieve the purpose, the technical scheme adopted by the invention is as follows:

an organic reinforcing agent for modifying precision casting silica sol comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 0-40 parts of acrylic emulsion, 20-80 parts of butadiene latex, 0-40 parts of waterborne polyurethane emulsion and 0-60 parts of VAE emulsion.

Optionally, other additives are included, including wetting agents, defoamers, biocides, leveling agents, and pH adjusters.

Optionally, the other additives are 0.2-5 parts by weight.

Optionally, the acrylic emulsion is any one anionic latex of pure acrylic emulsion, styrene-acrylic emulsion or silicone-acrylic emulsion; the butadiene latex is any one or two anionic latexes of butadiene-pyridine latex, butadiene-styrene latex, chloroprene latex or butyronitrile latex; the waterborne polyurethane emulsion is single-component, anionic or nonionic polyurethane emulsion or modified polyurethane emulsion; the VAE emulsion is universal latex or waterproof latex, and is also a compound of the universal latex and the waterproof latex.

Compared with the prior art, the invention has the technical progress that:

the organic reinforcing agent is added into the silica sol, so that the drying time of the silica sol adhesive film is shortened to 2-4 hours from the original 8-12 hours, and the drying efficiency is improved by 2-3 times; the wet strength is increased to 3.72MPa from the original 1.72MPa by 116 percent, and the residual strength is reduced to 4.13MPa from the original 4.72MPa by 12.5 percent. The invention improves the drying efficiency and the wet strength, reduces the residual strength, has good compatibility and stability with the silica sol, improves the yield of the casting, reduces the repair rate, and has better fineness after dissolution than unmodified primary products (see attached figures 1 and 2).
