1. A cover for an electronic device, comprising a through hole into which a button of the electronic device is inserted, wherein,
the through hole is surrounded by:
a first arc-shaped part centered on a predefined point;
a second arc-shaped portion positioned opposite the first arc-shaped portion in a first direction parallel to a surface of the cover, the second arc-shaped portion being centered on the predefined point and having a diameter equal to a diameter of the first arc-shaped portion;
a first protrusion forming a rectangular region protruding from one end of the first arc-shaped portion and one end of the second arc-shaped portion, the rectangular region protruding outward relative to the predefined point in a second direction, the second direction being parallel to the surface of the cover and orthogonal to the first direction; and
a second protrusion forming a rectangular region protruding from the other end of the first arc-shaped portion and the other end of the second arc-shaped portion, the rectangular region protruding outward in the second direction with respect to the predefined point.
2. The cover for an electronic device of claim 1, wherein the first and second arcuate portions have a diameter equal to a predefined diameter of a circular button in the electronic device.
3. The cover for an electronic device according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the first and second protrusions are identical to predefined peripheral edges of ends of a rectangular button of the electronic device in the second direction.
4. An electronic device, comprising:
a cover for an electronic device according to any one of claims 1 to 3; and
a button configured to be inserted into a through hole formed in the cover for an electronic device.
5. The electronic device of claim 4, wherein the button comprises:
a circular body portion having a diameter equal to the diameter of the first and second arc-shaped portions of the cover for an electronic device;
a first protrusion having a same peripheral edge as that of the first protrusion of the cover for the electronic device, the first protrusion of the button being a rectangular protrusion protruding from one of portions of the body part in a third direction orthogonal to a surface of the cover for the electronic device; and
a second protrusion having a same peripheral edge as that of a second protrusion of the cover for the electronic device, the second protrusion of the button being a rectangular protrusion protruding from one of portions of the body part in the third direction such that the second protrusion is opposite to the first protrusion in the second direction.
6. The electronic device of claim 4, wherein the button comprises:
a rectangular body portion having peripheral edges of both sides in the second direction, the peripheral edges being the same as peripheral edges of the first and second protruding portions of the cover for an electronic device;
a first protrusion having a peripheral edge identical to that of a first arc-shaped portion of the cover for an electronic device, the first protrusion being an arcuate protrusion protruding from one of portions of the body portion in a third direction orthogonal to a surface of the cover for an electronic device; and
a second protrusion having a peripheral edge identical to that of the second arc-shaped portion of the cover for an electronic device, the second protrusion being an arcuate protrusion protruding from one of portions of the body portion in the third direction such that the second protrusion is opposite to the first protrusion in the first direction.
7. The electronic device of claim 5 or 6, further comprising a second cover, wherein,
the second cover has a through hole into which the other portion of the body portion in the third direction is inserted; and
the second cover is configured to cover the cover for the electronic device and cover the first protrusion and the second protrusion of the cover for the electronic device.

Technical problem
As shown in fig. 17A, 17B, 18A, and 18B, a through hole formed in a general first cover is formed in a shape conforming to the shape of a button. Therefore, there is a problem in that the first cover needs to be prepared according to the shape of the button, and thus the manufacturing cost of the electronic device increases.
One of the objects intended to be achieved by the exemplary embodiments disclosed in the present specification is to provide a cover for an electronic device and an electronic device that can contribute to solving the above-described problems. It should be noted that this object is only one of a plurality of objects that the exemplary embodiments disclosed in this specification are intended to achieve. Other objects or problems and novel features will become apparent from the following description and the accompanying drawings.
Solution to the problem
The cover for an electronic device according to the first aspect includes a through hole into which a button of the electronic device is inserted, wherein,
the through hole is surrounded by:
a first arc-shaped part centered on a predefined point;
a second arc-shaped portion positioned opposite the first arc-shaped portion in a first direction parallel to a surface of the cover, the second arc-shaped portion being centered on the predefined point and having a diameter equal to a diameter of the first arc-shaped portion;
a first protrusion forming a rectangular region protruding from one end of the first arc-shaped part and one end of the second arc-shaped part, the rectangular region protruding outward with respect to the predefined point in a second direction, the second direction being parallel to the surface of the cover and orthogonal to the first direction; and
a second protrusion forming a rectangular region protruding from the other end of the first arc-shaped portion and the other end of the second arc-shaped portion, the rectangular region protruding outward in a second direction with respect to the predefined point.
The electronic device according to the second aspect includes:
the above cover for an electronic device; and
a button configured to be inserted into a through hole of a cover for an electronic device.
