Technical Field

The invention relates to a shaping and pruning method for a specific fruit tree, in particular to a short trunk umbrella frame-shaped tree form culture method for cerasus humilis.

Background

Cerasus humilis (Bge) Sok) belongs to the genus of cherries of the family rosaceae, and is a unique fruit tree in China. In recent 30 years, the tree species gradually changes from wild domestication to artificial cultivation, the field of China has developed to more than 10 ten thousand mu, fresh fruits and processed products become new functional food, and the economic and ecological effects of the fresh fruits and the processed products are widely regarded by government and industry departments and operators. The selection and cultivation of the tree form of the fruit tree is a key important technical measure for obtaining high yield and high quality in the cultivation of the fruit tree, the tree species and the variety of the fruit tree are different, and the tree form selected in the cultivation is also different. Most of fruit trees cultivated in the world are arbors and lianas, and a few of fruit trees are shrub fruit trees. Generally, arbor fruit trees have independent and complete trunks to support the crowns of the fruit trees. The crown can form different tree forms due to different distribution and combination of branches, such as a spindle shape of an apple tree, an open heart shape of a peach tree and the like. The shrub fruit tree generally has no trunk, and a plurality of branches directly emit from the ground to form a cluster shape. The shrubs are divided into large shrubs, medium shrubs and small shrubs, the large shrubs and the medium shrubs are higher than the ground due to the growth height of 3-6m, and the branches and fruiting parts are generally higher than the ground, so that the problems of mopping and lodging of the fruiting branches are avoided. Cerasus humilis is a shrub, the height is generally 0.5-1.5m, the branches and fruiting parts of the shrub are lower from the ground, and firstly, the branches can drag bearing branches or the whole plant falls to the ground due to bearing and branch pressing, so that the quality of fruits is influenced; also brings great difficulty to management operations such as harvesting and the like; the problems of small space, dense branches, poor illumination and the like of three-dimensional results can be formed, so that the prunus humilis has low yield and poor quality. In order to solve the problems in production, management measures such as frame building, branch binding and the like are adopted at present, so that financial resources and manpower are wasted.

Disclosure of Invention

The invention aims to overcome the defects of the prior art and provide a brand-new short-trunk umbrella frame-shaped tree form culture method which can effectively solve the problems that the stereoscopic space of the frutex fruit tree is too small, branches are easy to fall on the ground, mechanical harvesting is difficult and the like.

The invention relates to a short trunk umbrella frame-shaped tree form culture method of cerasus humilis, which comprises the following steps:

(1) shallow planting: when planting, the root neck of the cerasus humilis plant is exposed to the ground by 1-2cm, and the seedling is not buried too deeply by soil when planting. The tree forms of the naturally grown cerasus humilis and the cerasus humilis which is usually adopted in production are both in a cluster shape, so the tree forms are adopted because the cerasus humilis generates a large amount of underground stems and basal branches in growth habit every year, the underground stems and the basal branches are vigorously competitively nutritionally competitive with the original branches and the branches formed in the previous 2-3 years, so that the original branches and the branches formed in the previous 2-3 years are rapidly declined or killed, and the cerasus humilis forms the cluster shape which has no main trunk, is low and is directly and massively generated by the branches from the ground every year. Therefore, the growth of the underground stems and the basal branches of the cerasus humilis is controlled to cultivate the tree form with the trunk. When the Prunus humilis Bunge seedlings are planted, after the root necks of the seedlings (the junction between the underground parts and the overground parts of the seedlings) are buried by soil, a plurality of strong adventitious buds and adventitious buds are usually generated at the root necks. When the buds germinate, if the buds are buried deeply in the soil, the buds grow horizontally and develop into underground stems, also called as rootstocks, and when the conditions are proper, the buds of the underground stems drill out of the ground to form new plants, so that the original parent plants are weakened or dead, and the tree form culture of the original parent plants is not facilitated; the remaining shallow buds buried in the soil germinate to form strong base branches which compete strongly nutritionally with the original branches (the branches which will form the trunk in the invention) and interfere with the cultivation of the tree form. Therefore, after many tests (see table 1), shallow planting, i.e. not burying the root neck with soil, controlling the formation of underground stem and basal branch is a key measure for ensuring the tree shape. In order to ensure the success of tree-shaped cultivation, when the Prunus humilis Bunge nursery stocks are planted, the root necks cannot be buried in the soil to cause the planting depth, and the root necks are properly exposed 1-2cm above the ground to realize 'shallow planting'.

TABLE 1 summary of the effects of depth of soil burying in the root and neck of Prunus humilis on the development of subterranean stems and basal shoots

(2) Short fixed dry: after planting, the seedlings are cut short at the position 20-30 cm away from the ground. The branches of cerasus humilis are thin, the branches planted in the current year are only about 3.35mm (1-2 times thinner than apple trees and peach trees), internodes on the branches are short, the average length is only 1.91cm (see table 2), the number of buds is large, the germination rate is high and can reach more than 85%, and more than 20 buds can germinate on one branch with the length of 50 cm. After germination, the force of young shoots growing is dispersed, and the growth vigor is weakened as a whole. The original branches cultured as the main trunk can not be thickened rapidly, so that the uprightness and lodging resistance of the main trunk are greatly reduced. After the short fixed stem, the thickness of the stem pre-cultured is obviously increased, and is increased by 57.14 percent compared with the thickness of the stem long fixed stem. Not only does not fall down, but also makes the young shoots develop strongly and the length of the young shoots is obviously increased (see table 3).

(3) Bud picking and tillering: the Prunus humilis Bunge plants can sprout gradually with the rise of air temperature after being dried, buds within 10-15 cm away from the ground can be wiped off by hand after sprouting, and the tillering buds on the root neck can be removed in time, and only 3-4 new shoots at the upper end are reserved. After the Prunus humilis Bunge plants with short fixed stems germinate, buds on the remained branches generally germinate, and when the buds just germinate to about 1cm, the buds within 10-15 cm away from the ground are wiped off by hands and do not grow, so that the branches close to the ground can not grow on the trunk in the future, and a smooth trunk is formed. The young shoots are all reserved above 15cm from the ground (generally 3-4 young shoots can grow in the same year). When the generation of basic branches (generation of tillering) at the root neck is found, the basic branches are removed from the base, so that the consumption of nutrients can be reduced, the basic branches are concentrated on the trunk, and the trunk is ensured to be thickened and formed quickly.

(4) Culturing the umbrella-shaped crown: selecting 2-3 branches grown in the last year before sprouting in spring of the second year, and reserving 5-8cm short scissors, promoting about 10 branches with the length of more than 50cm on the crown of the second year, selecting one vertically grown branch and reserving 25-30cm short scissors, so that the tree can bear fruits and can form new shoots, and the whole tree form looks like an umbrella stick attached with about 10 umbrella stands, so that the tree form is called as a short trunk umbrella stand shape (as shown in figure 1).

(5) Tree form maintenance and branch updating: in the third and later years, 4-7 branches with upright length of 50cm and base thickness of more than 0.3cm are selected for short shearing, the branches are cut to be 30-40cm in length for fruiting, and each branch can bear 150 and 290 fruits (the average single fruit weight is more than 8 g). And (3) performing heavy short shearing on other branches (the minimum quantity of which is consistent with that of the bearing branches) to cut and reserve the length of 3-5cm so as to promote new umbrella stand branches. For the fruit branches of the last year, the branches should be cut short 2cm from the base or thinned out from the base (thinning). More than 10 new umbrella stand branches are reserved on the crown for maintaining the tree shape through short shearing and branch thinning every year. Other management is the same as general management of fruit trees and shrubs.

According to the method, when the tree is 5 years old, the thickness of the trunk is more than 3cm, and more than 10 umbrella stand branches are used as results and updated on the crown every year.

The method solves the technical problems that the frutex fruit tree of the European plum is too small in fruit three-dimensional space, branches fall to the ground, mechanical harvesting is difficult and the like, breaks through the embarrassment that the European plum only has a cluster-shaped tree shape at present, creates a novel tree shape with high lighting effect and easy management, and provides technical support for high-efficiency management operation such as high-yield, high-quality and labor-saving harvesting of the European plum.

The method is mainly suitable for the shrub species such as the cerasus humilis, and has the main characteristics and advantages that: the shallow planting seedlings can control the breeding of the root and the growth of underground stems; the trunk can be ensured to be strong only by fixing the trunk in a short time; the umbrella frame branches can be formed only by heavy and short shearing; the unique tree form of the cerasus humilis which is always formed by root breeding growth and has no trunk bush shape is changed, the tree form improves the fruit part, and the problem of fruit rot caused by the fact that branches of cerasus humilis fruits touch the ground due to lodging is avoided; the tree shape enlarges the three-dimensional result part and improves the yield; the tree form selects the upright branches on the crown and performs proper short shearing, so that the illumination is good, and the fruit quality is improved; the tree form does not need a support, so that not only is the frame material saved, but also the cost for manually erecting and binding branches every year is saved; the fruit bearing part is separated from the ground and is increased to be over 20cm of the ground height, so that the picking is more convenient, and the fruit bearing device is not only more suitable for manual picking, but also more suitable for mechanical fruit picking in a fruit rolling type.
