Technical Field

The application relates to the technical field of cutting fluid, in particular to water-based metal machining cutting fluid for steel and aluminum and a preparation method thereof.

Background

The cutting fluid is an important industrial fluid which is compounded by a plurality of chemical additives and is used for metal cutting. Compared with cutting oil, the cutting fluid is diluted to about 5% concentration by water when in use, has good cooling performance, eliminates smoke, and is environment-friendly and safe. The excellent cooling, lubricating, cleaning and other performances of the soap base emulsion are favored by the industry, and the defects of easy odor in summer, difficult dilution in winter and poor antirust effect of the traditional soap base emulsion are overcome.

For materials with different processing properties, different cutting fluids are generally used due to different corrosion mechanisms. For example, steel parts and aluminum alloys have quite different processing properties, and steel parts, particularly alloy steels with high content of alloy elements, have high hardness, large deformation hardening tendency and difficult cutting, need to adopt components with high lubricity, and generally adopt sulfur-containing additives with high bearing capacity; aluminum is a face-centered cubic alloy and is easy to deform and low in cutting force, but aluminum is an amphoteric metal and is easy to corrode and discolor, so that a sulfur-containing additive with high corrosivity cannot be used.

However, in the current production situation of many users, steel parts and aluminum alloys have to be processed simultaneously by the same processing liquid. If the cutting fluid suitable for the steel piece is selected, the aluminum alloy is difficult to be ensured not to be corroded; if a cutting fluid suitable for aluminum alloys is selected, it is difficult to ensure that the steel is not corroded. Therefore, there is a need to develop a cutting fluid that can meet the processing requirements of steel and aluminum alloy.
