a pair of fastener element tapes formed by disposing fastener elements on a continuous body of a pair of fastener tape;

providing a film having a predetermined size at a predetermined position of the pair of fastener element tapes from which a part of the fastener elements is removed;

opening holes are formed in the parts, provided with the films, of the pair of zipper tooth belts and the parts, not provided with the films, of the pair of zipper tooth belts;

an opening and closing means for engaging and disengaging respective ends of the pair of fastener tapes is formed corresponding to a position of the opening hole;

after the opening/closing tool is formed, the fastener tape is cut by a cutter blade at a predetermined distance from the end edge of the film in the longitudinal direction to obtain a single fastener.

12. The method of manufacturing a slide fastener according to claim 11,

when cutting is performed using the cutting knife, the cutting knife cuts only the fastener tape without cutting the film.

13. The method of manufacturing a slide fastener according to claim 11 or 12,

the specified distance is 1.4 mm-2.4 mm.

14. The method of manufacturing a slide fastener according to claim 11 or 12,

Technical Field

The present invention relates to a slide fastener and a method of manufacturing the slide fastener, and particularly to a slide fastener and a method of manufacturing the slide fastener.

Background

The zipper is a daily article commonly used in life and is mainly installed on clothes, bags and the like. The slide fastener is roughly divided into a closed slide fastener and an open slide fastener as required. The closed zipper is provided with an upper stopper and a lower stopper at both ends of the zipper, a zipper head slides between the upper stopper and the lower stopper, and one end of the lower stopper cannot be separated, so that the whole zipper cannot be separated into 2 zipper tooth belts. In the open slide fastener, a stopper is provided at one end, and an opening/closing tool for fully opening the slide fastener is provided at the other end. The shutter mainly has a case body of a fastener tape provided on one side of 2 fastener tapes which can be engaged with each other, a case bar protruding from the case body, and an insert bar of the fastener tape provided on the other side. When the open zipper is operated, the box rod and the zipper cloth belts on the two sides of the insert rod are mainly held, and the insert rod is inserted into or pulled out of the box body.

For example, patent document 1 listed below discloses a structure of the above-described open slide fastener. The open slide fastener disclosed in patent document 1 includes: left and right fastener tapes on which fastener elements are respectively provided to form left and right fastener element tapes; and the opening and closing tool is arranged at the end part of the zipper cloth belt in the length direction and comprises a box body positioned at one side of the left zipper tooth belt and the right zipper tooth belt, a box rod extending upwards from the box body and a plug rod positioned at the other side of the left zipper tooth belt and the right zipper tooth belt. In general, the fastener tape is relatively soft, and for convenience of handling, for example, as in patent document 1, it is conceivable to reinforce the hardness by attaching a film to a portion of the fastener tape where a hand is gripped to insert or extract the insert pin into or from the case.

However, since the covered region of the fastener tape to which the film is attached becomes hard, there is a possibility that a hand may hit an end portion of the film to cause a sense of discomfort when the above-described insertion or extraction of the insert pin into or from the case is performed. Further, after the zipper is sewn to the garment, the end portion of the film may come into contact with the skin of the wearer, causing an uncomfortable feeling.

In addition, in patent document 1, an opening hole for forming a shutter is opened in a region of the fastener tape where the film is located, which results in a large amount of material for the film and a large amount of wasted film due to the opening hole.

Disclosure of Invention

The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and a main object thereof is to provide a slide fastener and a method of manufacturing the slide fastener, which can prevent an end portion of a film from being in contact with a hand or skin to cause discomfort.

In order to achieve the purpose, the technical scheme adopted by the invention is as follows:

a slide fastener comprising a pair of fastener tapes each having a pair of fastener elements provided on a pair of fastener tapes, and a shutter provided at a longitudinal end of each of the fastener tapes for connecting and disconnecting the ends of the pair of fastener elements, the shutter comprising a case provided on one of the pair of fastener elements, a case bar provided on the one fastener element and protruding from the case, and an insert bar provided on the other fastener element,

the pair of fastener tapes are provided with films on both sides of the opening/closing tool, and protrude from the end edges of the films in the longitudinal direction at the end edges of the ends where the opening/closing tool is located.

Preferably, side end edges of the pair of fastener tapes in the width direction protrude from side end edges of the film in the width direction.

Preferably, a protruding dimension of the distal edges of the pair of fastener tapes protruding from the distal edge of the film in the longitudinal direction is 1.4mm to 2.4 mm.

Preferably, a protruding dimension of the side end edges of the pair of fastener tapes protruding from the side end edge of the film in the width direction is 1.4mm to 2.4 mm.

Preferably, the fastener tape is formed by providing fastener elements on a continuous body of the fastener tape, the single piece of the fastener is obtained by cutting the continuous body of the fastener tape transversely with a cutter,

when cutting is performed using a cutter, the cutter cuts only the fastener tape without cutting the film.

Preferably, the cutter cuts the fastener tape at a predetermined interval from the end edge of the film when cutting is performed by the cutter.

Preferably, when an opening hole for forming the shutter is opened in the continuous body of the fastener tape, the opening hole is opened in a portion of the continuous body of the fastener tape where the film is provided and a portion where the film is not provided.

Further, a method of manufacturing a slide fastener of the present invention is a method of manufacturing a slide fastener according to any one of the above aspects,

a pair of fastener element tapes formed by disposing fastener elements on a continuous body of a pair of fastener tape;

providing a film having a predetermined size at a predetermined position of the pair of fastener element tapes from which a part of the fastener elements is removed;

opening holes are formed in the parts, provided with the films, of the pair of zipper tooth belts and the parts, not provided with the films, of the pair of zipper tooth belts;

an opening and closing means for engaging and disengaging respective ends of the pair of fastener tapes is formed corresponding to a position of the opening hole;

after the opening/closing tool is formed, the fastener tape is cut by a cutter blade at a predetermined distance from the end edge of the film in the longitudinal direction to obtain a single fastener.

Preferably, the cutting knife cuts only the fastener tape without cutting the film when the cutting knife cuts.

Preferably, the predetermined pitch is 1.4mm to 2.4 mm.

According to the slide fastener of the present invention, since the pair of fastener tapes are provided with the films on both sides of the shutter and protrude from the end edge of the film in the longitudinal direction at the end edge of the end where the shutter is located, the fastener tapes can shield the end portion of the film as the hardened portion, and when the insert pin is inserted into or removed from the case, the hand first touches the relatively soft fastener tape, so that the hand can be prevented from touching the end portion of the film as the hardened portion to cause discomfort, and the handling feeling can be improved. Further, even after the zipper is sewn to the garment, the end portion of the film as the hardened portion can be prevented from hitting the skin of the wearer and causing an uncomfortable feeling.

In addition, according to the method for manufacturing a slide fastener of the present invention, the amount of film used can be reduced, and thus the cost can be saved. Further, the same effects as described above can be obtained with respect to the slide fastener obtained by the manufacturing method.

Detailed Description

A slide fastener and a method of manufacturing a slide fastener according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to fig. 1 to 4. The drawings are schematic, and it should be noted that the scale of each dimension and the like are different from those of the actual drawings. Therefore, specific dimensions and the like should be determined with reference to the following description. In addition, the drawings may include portions having different dimensional relationships and ratios from each other.

In the description of the present invention, the terms defined below may be referred to. The front-rear direction is a direction that coincides with the longitudinal direction of the slide fastener or the fastener tape and/or the moving direction of the slider, wherein the moving direction when the slide fastener is pulled is front and the moving direction when the slide fastener is pulled is rear. The left-right direction is a direction that coincides with the width direction of the slide fastener or the fastener tape (the arrangement direction of the fastener tapes), and/or a direction orthogonal to the front-rear direction. The vertical direction is a direction orthogonal to both the front-back direction and the left-right direction, and/or a direction corresponding to the thickness direction of the fastener tape. Further, the end of the slide fastener is one end in the longitudinal direction of the slide fastener.

First, the entire structure of the slide fastener according to the embodiment of the present invention will be described.

Fig. 1 is a view schematically showing the overall structure of a slide fastener according to an embodiment of the present invention, showing a state in which the slide fastener is engaged. As shown in fig. 1, the slide fastener includes a pair of openable right and left fastener tapes 8 formed by providing a plurality of fastener elements 5 on a pair of fastener tapes. An opening/closing tool is provided at the end of the fastener tape 8 in the longitudinal direction (i.e., the moving direction of the slider 1 with the pull tab 7). The shutter is used to join or separate the respective ends of the pair of fastener tapes 8. The shutter has a case 2 provided on one (right side in fig. 1) of the pair of fastener tapes 8, a case bar 3 provided on the one fastener tape and protruding from the case 2, and a plunger 4 provided on the other (left side in fig. 1) of the pair of fastener tapes 8. The box body 2 and the box bar 3 are formed in one body. The method of providing the plurality of fastener elements 5 on the pair of fastener tapes is not particularly limited, and the plurality of fastener elements 5 may be formed continuously and at equal intervals on the fastener tapes by, for example, a normal injection molding method. The slider 1 is used for operating the fastener elements 5 to be engaged or disengaged.

Films 6 are provided at the end portions of the pair of fastener tapes on both sides across the shutter. The pair of fastener tapes have end edges in the longitudinal direction protruding from end edges of the film 6 in the longitudinal direction. The material of the film 6 is not particularly limited, and for example, a plastic film or the like can be used. The film 6 is fixed to the pair of zipper tapes. The method for fixing the film 6 is not particularly limited, and the film 6 may be fixed to the pair of fastener tapes by a heat compression technique such as an ultrasonic welding technique. In addition, although fig. 3 shows a structure in which the film 6 is provided on one side (i.e., the front side) in the thickness direction of the pair of fastener tapes, the present invention is not limited to this structure, and may be a structure in which the film is provided on the other side (i.e., the back side) in the thickness direction of the pair of fastener tapes, or may be a structure in which the films are provided on both sides (i.e., the front side and the back side) in the thickness direction of the pair of fastener tapes. As shown in fig. 3, the film 6 is provided on the pair of fastener tapes 8 in a single layer, but the film is not limited to a single-layer structure, and may have a multilayer structure.

In the present invention, the configuration as described above allows the fastener tape to cover the end of the film 6 as the hardened portion, and when the insert pin 4 is inserted into or removed from the case 2, the hand first touches the soft fastener tape, so that the hand is prevented from touching the end of the film 6 as the hardened portion, thereby preventing the uncomfortable feeling from being generated, and improving the handling feeling. Further, even after the zipper is sewn to the garment, the end portion of the film 6, which is a hardened portion, can be prevented from hitting the skin of the wearer and causing an uncomfortable feeling.

As shown in fig. 1, the fastener is configured such that the side end edges of the pair of fastener tapes in the width direction (the left-right direction in fig. 1), which is the direction in which the pair of fastener elements 8 are arranged, protrude in the width direction from the side end edges of the film 6 in the width direction. Here, in the width direction of the pair of fastener tapes 8, a side where the respective fastener elements 5 are engaged with each other is referred to as an inner side, and a side opposite to the side where the fastener elements 5 are engaged with each other is referred to as an outer side.

In the longitudinal direction, a protruding dimension H1 (see fig. 4) of the distal edges of the pair of fastener tapes protruding from the distal edge of the film 6 is preferably 1.4mm to 2.4 mm. When the projection H1 is smaller than 1.4mm, the end of the film 6 as a hardened portion is easily caught, and when the projection H1 is larger than 2.4mm, the appearance of the entire slide fastener is impaired. In addition, from the viewpoint of aesthetic appearance, the projecting dimension of the left fastener tape in the longitudinal direction is preferably the same as the projecting dimension of the right fastener tape in the longitudinal direction.

In fig. 1, the longitudinal end edges of the left and right films 6 are shown to be substantially parallel to the end edges of the fastener tapes, but the configuration is not limited thereto, and the longitudinal end edges of the left and right films 6 may be slightly inclined with respect to the end edges of the fastener tapes.

In the width direction, a protruding dimension H2 (see fig. 4) of the side edges of the pair of fastener tapes protruding from the side edges of the film 6 is preferably 1.4mm to 2.4 mm. When the projection H2 is smaller than 1.4mm, the end of the film 6 as a hardened portion is easily caught, and when the projection H2 is larger than 2.4mm, the appearance of the entire slide fastener is impaired. In addition, from the viewpoint of aesthetic appearance, the projecting dimension of the left fastener tape in the width direction is preferably the same as the projecting dimension of the right fastener tape in the width direction.

The protrusion dimension in the longitudinal direction and the protrusion dimension in the width direction may be the same or different.

In the slide fastener of the present invention, the continuous body of the fastener tape 8 is formed by molding the plurality of fastener elements 5 on the continuous body of the fastener tape by, for example, an injection molding method as described above (see fig. 2 (a)). In fig. 2 (a), a state is shown in which a plurality of fastener elements 5 are provided on a continuous body of a fastener tape and a part of the fastener elements 5 is removed at a predetermined portion. The predetermined portion may be appropriately provided as needed, and may be determined according to, for example, the length requirement of the fastener to be formed.

Next, as shown in fig. 2 (b), a film 6 having a predetermined size is provided at a predetermined portion where the fastener element 5 is removed. As for the method of fixing the film 6, as described above, the film 6 may be fixed by a heat compression technique such as an ultrasonic welding technique. The specific position of the film 6 to be attached at the predetermined position may be set as needed, and may be determined according to, for example, the length requirement of the fastener to be formed. When the film 6 is fixed to the fastener tapes 8, the side end edges of the film 6 in the width direction, which is the direction in which the pair of fastener tapes 8 are arranged, are positioned further inward in the width direction than the side end edges of the pair of fastener tapes 8 in the width direction. The distance between the side end edges of the film 6 in the width direction and the side end edges of the pair of fastener tapes 8 in the width direction is 1.4mm to 2.4 mm. When the thickness is less than 1.4mm, the end of the film 6 as a hardened portion is easily touched by hand, and when the thickness is more than 2.4mm, the appearance of the entire slide fastener is impaired. In addition, in terms of appearance, the distance from the side edge of the left fastener tape in the width direction to the side edge of the film 6 is equal to the distance from the side edge of the right fastener tape in the width direction to the side edge of the film 6.

Next, as shown in fig. 2 (c), an opening hole 9 for forming the shutter is opened in the continuous body of the fastener tape 8. The opening hole 9 is opened in a portion of the continuous body of the fastener tape 8 where the film 6 is provided and a portion where the film 6 is not provided. The hole forming method is not particularly limited, and the opening hole 9 may be formed by, for example, a punching technique. As shown in fig. 2 c, the end edge of the opening 9 on the side (lower side in the figure) away from the shutter in the longitudinal direction of the continuous body of the fastener tape 8 protrudes in the longitudinal direction beyond the end edge of the film 6 in the longitudinal direction.

Next, as shown in fig. 2 (d), the box body 2, the box pin 3, and the insert pin 4 are molded on the fastener tape 8 by, for example, injection molding in accordance with the position of the opening hole 9. Although not shown in fig. 2 (d), a stopper provided at one end of the open slide fastener may be molded simultaneously with the fastener element below the opening hole 9.

Next, as shown in fig. 2 (e), a single piece of the slide fastener is obtained by cutting the continuous body of the fastener tape 8 transversely with a cutting blade 10. When cutting is performed with the cutter 10, the cutter cuts only the fastener tape 8 without cutting the film 6. When the cutting blade 10 is used to cut the fastener tape 8, the cutting blade cuts the end edge of the film 6 at a predetermined distance. The predetermined pitch is preferably 1.4mm to 2.4 mm. When the predetermined pitch is smaller than 1.4mm, the cut slide fastener easily touches the end of the film 6 as a hardened portion when it is handled by hand. When the predetermined pitch is larger than 2.4mm, the appearance of the entire slide fastener obtained by cutting is affected. In addition, the cutting blade 10 and the film 6 are spaced at equal intervals in the fastener tape on both the left and right sides in view of the cutting efficiency, the appearance of the fastener obtained by cutting, and the like.

Further, when the cutter 10 is used to cut the fastener tape 8, the cutter 10 is moved to a predetermined distance from the longitudinal end edge of the film 6 after the longitudinal end edge of the film 6 is detected. The specific detection method for detecting the end edge is not particularly limited, and detection by infrared rays can be performed, for example.

In addition, when the cutting blade 10 is used for cutting, the inclined surface of the cutting blade faces the film 6 fixed to the fastener tape 8 (see (c) of fig. 3). By providing the cutter blade as described above, the defective rate can be reduced, and even if the cutting position of the cutter blade is deviated, the projecting dimension of the fastener tape can be left on the single fastener obtained by cutting.

In addition, although the manufacturing process diagram in the state where the left and right fastener elements 5 are engaged with each other is shown in (a) to (e) of fig. 2, the present invention is not limited to this, and a slide fastener may be manufactured in a state where the left and right fastener elements 5 are separated from each other.

Fig. 3 (a) to (c) are views for explaining the positional relationship between the dicing blade and the end of the film. Fig. 3 (a) shows a state in which the cutting blade is flush with the end of the film and the inclined surface of the cutting blade does not face the film, fig. 3 (b) shows a state in which the cutting blade is spaced apart from the end of the film and the inclined surface of the cutting blade does not face the film, and fig. 3 (c) shows a state in which the cutting blade is spaced apart from the end of the film and the inclined surface of the cutting blade faces the film. As described above, by providing the cutter blade in the state shown in fig. 3 (c) and cutting the fastener tape, the defect rate can be reduced, and even if the cutting position of the cutter blade is shifted, the protruding dimension of the fastener tape can be left on the single fastener obtained by cutting. In addition, although the cutting blade shown in fig. 3 has an inclined surface on one side, the cutting blade may have inclined surfaces on both sides. For a cutting blade having inclined surfaces on both sides, it is possible to have the inclined surfaces on either side facing the film.

According to the slide fastener of the present invention, since the film 6 is provided at the end portions of the pair of fastener tapes located on both sides across the shutter, and the end edges of the pair of fastener tapes in the longitudinal direction protrude from the end edges of the film 6 in the longitudinal direction, the end portions of the film 6 as the hardened portions can be shielded by the fastener tapes, and when the insert pin 4 is inserted into or pulled out from the case 2, the hand first touches the soft fastener tapes, and the hand can be prevented from touching the end portions of the film 6 as the hardened portions to cause a sense of discomfort, thereby improving the handling feeling. Further, even after the zipper is sewn to the garment, the end portion of the film 6, which is a hardened portion, can be prevented from hitting the skin of the wearer and causing an uncomfortable feeling.

Further, as described above, when the opening hole 9 is opened, the opening hole 9 is opened in the portion of the continuous body of the fastener tape 8 where the film 6 is provided and the portion where the film 6 is not provided, and therefore, the amount of the film discarded by opening the opening hole can be reduced. Further, as described above, when cutting is performed by the cutter blade, the cutter blade cuts only the fastener tape 8 without cutting the film 6, and therefore, the amount of the film discarded by being cut by the cutter blade can be reduced. Accordingly, the amount of the film can be reduced, and thus cost can be saved.
