4. The large rodent restraint device of claim 1, wherein the body of the restraint platform is of a non-smooth configuration and the periphery of the restraint platform is of a smooth configuration.

5. The large rodent restraint device of any one of claims 1-4, wherein the retaining bar is a threaded rod to which the back plate can be secured by a nut.

6. The large rodent restraint device of any one of claims 1-4, wherein the base is provided with a socket, the restraint station having a plug that removably mates with the socket.

7. The large rodent restraint device of any one of claims 1-4, wherein the end of the first strap has a first catch and the end of the second strap has a second catch for mating engagement with the first catch.

8. A method of perching a large rodent perching device as in any of claims 1 to 7, wherein said perching method comprises a large rodent prone operation comprising the steps of:

a. laying the animal on a holding table, and enabling the head of the animal to extend out of the holding table;

b. fixing the head and forelimb of the animal in a first bandage and a second bandage which are close to the head, fastening the first bandage and the corresponding second bandage, and adjusting the tightness of the bandage;

c. binding the body part of the animal to a first binding belt and a second binding belt of the binding belt close to the body part, buckling the first binding belt and the corresponding second binding belt, and adjusting the tightness of the binding belts;

d. and (3) binding the limbs of the animal on a third binding band, and adjusting the tightness of the binding band.

Background

Large rodents are extremely aggressive because of their sharp incisors. In the process of breeding, breeding and testing large rodents, veterinary diagnosis, immunization injection, pregnancy examination and the like are required to be carried out on the large rodents, generally, the animals (such as beaver) are manually grabbed and fixed by breeding or research personnel, in the process, the large rodents struggle and bite, the breeding personnel are easy to bite, and the risk coefficient is very high.

g. the holding table 2 is removed.

After the fixing method is completed, operations such as B-ultrasonic pregnancy examination of animals and the like can be carried out according to requirements.
