1. Vehicle glazing and display system (1) comprising

A vehicle composite glazing unit (10; 10 '; 10 ' ') comprising a layer or surface (12 a; 12 b; 14) diffusely reflecting incident light directed towards the glazing unit from the interior of the vehicle (2) and having a maximum gain of 0.1 to 0.8, preferably 0.3 to 0.6, and an intrinsic viewing angle alpha of real image elements generated in the plane of the glazing unit of greater than 60 DEG in a first direction and greater than 30 DEG in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction,

and

a projector (4) for projecting an image onto a vehicle glazing unit to generate a real image in the plane of the glazing unit, and wherein the vehicle composite glazing unit (10; 10 '; 10 ' ') is a windscreen.

2. The vehicle glazing and display system (1) of claim 1, wherein the glazing unit (10; 10'; 10 ") has a typical haze value of 1% to 6%, preferably 2.5% to 4.5%, and/or the reflective layer or surface (12 a; 12 b; 14) within the glazing unit has a visible light transmission of greater than 70%, preferably 80% or more.

3. Vehicle glazing and display system (1) according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the projector (4) is adapted to be arranged in the dashboard (5).

4. A vehicle glazing and display system (1) according to claims 1 to 3, wherein the projected distance given as the orthogonal direction to the glass surface is from 2 cm to 60 cm.

5. Vehicle glazing and display system (1) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein at least one local camouflage is arranged close to the output lens of the projector (4) to avoid the generation of hot spots in the glazing plane of the glazing unit (10; 10', 10 ").

6. Vehicle glazing and display system (1) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the projector (4) is adapted to provide an output flux of at least 1,000 lumens, preferably 3000 lumens or more.

7. Vehicle glazing and display system (1) according to one of the preceding claims, adapted to generate in its assembled state a real image in the plane of the glazing having a horizontal extension of at least 25 cm, preferably 40 cm to 60 cm.

A vehicle composite glass panel unit (10; 10', 10 ") of a vehicle glass panel and display system (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, said glass panel unit comprising an inner glass or plastic panel (11), an outer glass or plastic panel (12) and a diffusely reflective plastic sheet (14) laminated between the inner and outer glass or plastic panels.

9. The vehicle composite glass panel unit (10; 10', 10 ") of claim 8, wherein the diffusive reflective sheet (14) is a sheet of adhesive or is embedded between two films (13.1, 13.2) or layers of adhesive to bond the inner glass or plastic panel (11) to the outer glass or plastic panel (12).

A vehicle composite glazing unit (10; 10', 10 ") of a vehicle glazing and display system (1) according to any preceding claim, the glazing unit comprising an inner glass or plastic panel (11), an outer glass or plastic panel (12) and an adhesive film (13) or layer for adhering the inner glass or plastic panel to the outer glass or plastic panel, wherein the inner surface (12a) of the inner or outer glass or plastic panel contacting the adhesive film or layer comprises a diffusely reflective coating (12b) or is treated so that the surface is a diffuse reflector, respectively.

11. The vehicular composite glass panel unit (10; 10', 10 ") of any of claims 8-10, wherein the diffusely reflective plastic sheet (14) or the diffusely reflective coating (12b) of the coated glass or plastic panel (12) comprises nanoparticles or microparticles within a transparent substrate.

12. The vehicular composite glass panel unit (10; 10', 10 ") of claim 11, wherein the nano-or microparticles are silica or polymer or liquid crystal particles.

13. The vehicle composite glass panel unit (10; 10', 10 ") according to claim 13, wherein said nano-or microparticles have a spherical shape and/or are transparent or translucent.

14. The vehicle composite glass panel unit (10; 10', 10 ") according to any one of claims 8 to 10, wherein one surface of the diffusely reflective plastic sheet (14) comprises random nano-or microstructures, in particular the other surface is polished.

15. The vehicular composite glass panel unit (10; 10', 10 ") of one of claims 8, 9 or 10-14, wherein the diffusely reflective plastic sheet (14) comprises a PE, PET, TAC, PVB, PMMA or polycarbonate sheet.
