The gypsum board has the advantages of no pollution, strong processing performance and simple and convenient construction method.

Gypsum boards are widely used in large buildings, for example: hotels, hospitals, markets and the like, so the requirements on the strength and the fire resistance of the composite material are high. The gypsum partition board adopted by the wall products in the current building market has lighter weight and lower strength, more than 70 percent of the strength comes from the facing paper, the fire resistance is general, and the special purpose cannot be met. At present, the improvement of the strength and the fire resistance of the paper-surface gypsum board is mainly realized by adopting a fire-resistant type facing paper with higher strength. The adoption of the fire-resistant facing paper with higher strength can not improve the strength and fire resistance of the board core, and simultaneously can greatly increase the production cost of the gypsum board.

Therefore, it has become necessary to develop a gypsum board having higher strength and good fire resistance by improving the core quality of the gypsum board.

The paper-surface gypsum board prepared by the invention has excellent mechanical property, the horizontal and longitudinal fracture loads are respectively improved by 50 percent and 65 percent compared with the common paper-surface gypsum board, the paper-surface gypsum board has strong fire resistance, and the stability in case of fire is 8 to 9 hours.

The method has simple process, and the prepared gypsum plasterboard has high strength and excellent fire resistance, and is suitable for being used in places with higher requirements on the strength and the fire resistance of walls, such as hotels, hospitals, markets and the like.
