1. A fixation and radiation protection device for use in a mouse radiation treatment process, comprising:

the head fixing part is an integrally formed platform for fixing the head of a mouse and an adjacent insert; a groove is arranged on the platform of the head fixing part;

the body control part is an open box body for fixing the body of the mouse and consists of a bottom plate, a left side plate, a right side plate and a top beam, the front surface, the back surface and the top surface are open, and lead plate placing spaces are reserved on the top surface, the bottom surface, the left side, the right side and the back surface; the insert of the head fixing part can be inserted below the bottom plate of the body control part; a groove is arranged on the top beam of the body control part;

the upper jaw fixing part is a hollow box-shaped structure for fixing the upper jaw of the mouse, and the bottom of the upper jaw fixing part is provided with a convex strip which can be inserted into a groove on the platform of the head fixing part in a matching manner; and

Background

With the continuous and deep research of the radiation technology, the requirements of precise experiments on the fixed-point irradiation and the radiation protection of the mice are increasing. Especially, in the radiation treatment process, the movement control and the radiation protection of the mouse are particularly important for the variable control and the experimental accuracy of the experiment.

In mouse radiation fixation, higher requirements are placed on exposure of a radiation part and protection of other parts of the whole body, and the uniformity of experiments is difficult to achieve. In addition, the method has certain influence on the survival capability of the mice in the later period, and the experimental result can be influenced under severe conditions.

The invention aims to provide a fixing and radiation protection device for a mouse radiation treatment process, which can help experimenters to effectively fix the body position and the irradiation angle of a mouse to be radiated, reduce experimental data errors caused by different experimenters and different placement angles and control variable influences of the experimental process.

The fixing and radiation protection device for the mouse radiation treatment process comprises: the head fixing part is an integrally formed platform for fixing the head of a mouse and an adjacent insert; a groove is arranged on the platform of the head fixing part; the body control part is an open box body for fixing the body of the mouse and consists of a bottom plate, a left side plate, a right side plate and a top beam, the front surface, the back surface and the top surface are open, and lead plate placing spaces are reserved on the top surface, the bottom surface, the left side, the right side and the back surface; the insert of the head fixing part can be inserted below the bottom plate of the body control part; a groove is arranged on the top beam of the body control part; the upper jaw fixing part is a hollow box-shaped structure for fixing the upper jaw of the mouse, and the bottom of the upper jaw fixing part is provided with a convex strip which can be inserted into a groove on the platform of the head fixing part in a matching manner; and the lower jaw fixing part is a long strip for fixing the lower jaw of the mouse and can be inserted into the groove on the top beam of the body control part in a matching way.

The fixing and radiation protection device for the mouse radiation treatment process has the following beneficial effects:

(1) by matching the upper jaw fixing part with the head fixing part and matching the lower jaw fixing part with the body control part, good fixation and control on the body position of the mouse are provided; can be finely adjusted according to the body size of the mouse to fix the head of the mouse. Corresponding fixing points can be provided for the mouse opening when necessary.

The present invention will be described in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and detailed description.

The fixing and radiation protecting device for mouse radiation treatment process, as shown in fig. 1, includes an upper jaw fixing part 1, a lower jaw fixing part 2, a body control part 3 and a head fixing part 4. The overall structure can be made of 3D printed resin material with considerable stiffness.

The head fixation portion 4 is an integrally formed platform 42 for fixation of the mouse head and an adjoining insert 43. The platform of the head fixing portion 4 is provided with a recess 41.

The body control part 3 is an open box body for fixing the body of the mouse, and consists of a bottom plate, a left side plate, a right side plate and a top beam, wherein the front surface, the back surface and the top surface are open, and lead plate placing spaces are reserved on the top surface, the bottom surface, the left side, the right side and the back surface. The insert 43 of the head fixing portion 4 can be inserted under the bottom plate of the body control portion 3. The roof rail of the body control part 3 is provided with a groove 31.

The upper jaw fixing part 1 is a hollow box-shaped structure for fixing the upper jaw of the head and neck of the mouse, and the bottom of the upper jaw fixing part is provided with a convex strip 11 which can be inserted into a groove 41 on a platform 42 of the head fixing part 4 in a matching way.

The lower jaw fixing part 2 is a long strip for fixing the lower jaw of the head and neck of the mouse and can be inserted into a groove 31 on the top beam of the body control part 3 in a matching way.

As can be seen from FIG. 1, the protrusion 11 of the maxillary retainer 1 corresponds to the head retainer 4 and the recess 41. According to the size of the head of the mouse, the front and back positions of the upper jaw fixing part 1 on the head fixing part 4 are adjusted to provide good upper jaw fixing effect; while it can be seen that the projections and recesses of the mandibular fixation part 2 and the body control part 3 correspond. According to the requirements of the jaw opening degree of the mouse, the front and back positions of the lower jaw fixing part 2 on the body control part 3 are adjusted to provide good lower jaw fixing effect. According to the length of the neck of the mouse, the deep length of the head fixing part 4 on the body control part 3 is adjusted to provide a good fixing effect. The mouse head can be fixed according to the body size of the mouse by finely adjusting the structure. Corresponding fixing points can be provided for the mouse opening when necessary.

The body control part 3 is a general mouse control part, and lead plate placing spaces are designed at the upper, lower, left, right and rear parts of the body control part according to the average body size of the mouse and the effective protection thickness of the lead plate in radiation, so that radiation protection is provided for the mouse. Wherein, a baffle is arranged at the rear part of the body control part 3, a rear lead plate can be stably placed, and the penetration length and the relative position of the upper, lower, left and right lead plates are controlled; the lead plates at the left side, the right side and the lower part are inserted from the front to provide protection in the radiation process; the corresponding specific lead plate can be selected according to different radiation sites in the lead plate placing space at the upper part so as to ensure the radiation accuracy and the protection function of other tissues.
