The aqueous solvent for reducing VOC emissions from oil-based paint according to claim 4, wherein said organic solvent comprises 5 to 40 parts by weight of acetone, 5 to 20 parts by weight of methyl isobutyl ketone, 5 to 25 parts by weight of diacetone alcohol, 0 to 40 parts by weight of isopropyl alcohol, 5 to 20 parts by weight of propylene glycol methyl ether acetate, 5 to 15 parts by weight of propylene carbonate, 0 to 25 parts by weight of ethylene glycol ether, and 0 to 25 parts by weight of propylene glycol ethers.
