The overvoltage protection circuit is suitable for overvoltage accident protection of low-voltage distribution power networks (AC 220V and AC 380V) and direct-current power supplies.

Background

In order to ensure the safe use and operation of electric equipment, a circuit breaker and a fuse are usually installed in a distribution line to protect against overload and short-circuit accidents, and a power supply line is cut off when the circuit has overload and short-circuit accidents, so that the electric equipment is protected and the fire accidents are prevented. Most of the common electric protection devices in the current market are overcurrent and short-circuit protection devices, and have no protection effect on overvoltage accidents of a power supply line; the composite overvoltage protector disclosed in the Chinese patent ZL 93206520.1 and the overvoltage control module disclosed in the ZL200410039063.4 realize the overvoltage accident protection of the power grid, but due to the limitation of materials and production processes of the piezoresistor, the following defects exist: the voltage dependent resistor is connected with the overvoltage control module through the voltage dependent resistor, and the overvoltage control module is connected with the overvoltage protector through the voltage dependent resistor.

Disclosure of Invention

The invention aims to provide an overvoltage protector which is an overvoltage accident protector which is formed by a bidirectional triode thyristor TRIAC and a bidirectional transient voltage suppression diode TVS, can be continuously used and has stable quality performance.

The technical scheme of the invention is as follows: the bidirectional transient voltage suppressor comprises a bidirectional thyristor and a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode, wherein one end of the bidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode is connected with a control stage G of the bidirectional thyristor, and the other end of the bidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode is connected with a second anode T2 of the bidirectional thyristor; the first anode T1 and the second anode T2 of the triac are pin 1 and pin 2 of the overvoltage protector, respectively.

Furthermore, pins of the bidirectional thyristor and the bidirectional transient voltage suppression diode are correspondingly welded, and then the outside of the bidirectional thyristor and the bidirectional transient voltage suppression diode is packaged by adopting an insulating material.

The invention has the advantages that: the temperature characteristic and various electrical performance indexes are stable, the size is small, the circuit breaker or the fuse is matched for use, and the circuit breaker or the fuse is used for overvoltage accident protection of low-voltage distribution power grids (AC 220V and AC 380V) and direct-current power supplies and has universal practicability. When the power supply voltage of the power grid is normal, the bidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode and the bidirectional thyristor are in a cut-off state, and the power grid or the direct-current power supply normally supplies power to the electric equipment; when the voltage of a power grid or a direct current power supply rises and exceeds a rated value, a bidirectional transient voltage suppression diode is conducted to trigger a bidirectional thyristor control level, the bidirectional thyristor is conducted, firstly, a tripping coil of a circuit breaker is driven to work to trip the circuit breaker, and an accident power supply is cut off; or the bidirectional thyristor is conducted to form a short circuit between the L line and the N line, and the fuse fuses to cut off the power supply, thereby realizing the purpose of protecting the electric equipment. The bidirectional transient voltage suppressor has the characteristics of small leakage current, strong reverse surge tolerance capability, quick response time, small influence of environmental temperature, good reverse clamping suppression characteristic, strong adaptability and stable continuous use of various index parameters, and compared with the prior art, the technical performance and index of the overvoltage protector are improved.
