Technical Field

The present invention relates to an insect catching device for catching pests such as cockroaches and centipedes that invade homes.

Background

Conventionally, as pests generally inhabiting homes, german cockroach, american cockroach, and the like have been taken as representatives, but recently, many insects such as centipede, tenebrio molitor, moth, bedbug, gecko, and the like have invaded together with global warming and the like. Moreover, there is a possibility that the insect pests such as wasp, red back spider and red imported fire ant, which have high toxicity, may be harmed in the future.

In the case where these pests are found, it is common to spray a spray insecticide or to repel them with a fly swatter or the like. However, the method of repelling insects by using a spray insecticide lacks immediate efficacy, and insects may escape immediately behind a wardrobe, in a gap, or the like, and it is difficult to obtain a satisfactory feeling or effect. On the other hand, in the method of using a fly swatter to pat flat, when the swatting force is small, the insect pests escape, and when the swatting force is too heavy, the body of the insect pests is patted flat and body fluids and the like are scattered around, which is not only very uncomfortable, but also cleaning of these parts and post-treatment of carcasses are troublesome.

Therefore, the present inventors have proposed a new insect catching device as shown in patent document 1 below, for example. In this insect trap, a plate and a pressing plate are attached to the tip of a stem having a length of, for example, about 30cm, and a soft insect trap plate having an adhesive surface is attached between the plate and the pressing plate. When the insect trap is used to trap insects such as cockroaches, the user holds the grip with one hand, peels off the release paper on the adhesive surface of the insect trap plate, and uses a fly swatter to cover the adhesive surface of the insect trap plate from above the cockroaches, thereby adhering and trapping the cockroaches on the insect trap plate.

After the cockroaches are caught, the surface of the front end side of the insect catching plate, which is not coated with the adhesive, is directly pressed against the ground or the like, folded in half as in the case of making a rice cake, the cockroaches are wrapped in the surface, and then the surface is thrown into a garbage can together with the insect catching plate while keeping the state, so that the caught cockroaches can be easily disposed.

Disclosure of Invention

Problems to be solved by the invention

However, in the conventional insect catching device described above, the insect is thrown into a trash box or the like together with the insect catching plate after the insect is caught and disposed of, but when the insect catching plate is detached from the holder, an operation of holding the rod of the lower holder holding the insect catching plate and separating the pressing plate from the plate of the upper holder is required. That is, in order to perform this operation, a two-handed operation is performed in which the rod of the lower holder is held by one hand while the handle of the upper holder is held by the other hand, which is not only troublesome, but also uncomfortable since the caught pests are immediately approached.

Accordingly, the present invention has been made to solve the above problems, and a main object of the present invention is to provide a novel insect catching device capable of easily disposing of caught insect pests with one hand.

Means for solving the problems

In order to solve the above problems, the insect catching device of the invention 1 comprises: a soft insect-catching sheet having an adhesive layer on one surface of a sheet main body; and a holder for holding the insect-catching sheet, wherein the holder comprises: a pressing plate located on the other side of the insect-catching sheet; a clamping part for clamping the insect catching sheet by the pressing plate; and a clip extending from the pressing plate, the clamping portion including: a clamping part main body which presses and clamps the insect catching sheet to the pressing plate side; and a lever-shaped handle for opening and closing the clamp body, the handle having a hook.

According to such a configuration, for example, when the insect-catching sheet with the insect-catching thereon is faced into the garbage can with the clip held by one hand, and then the claw of the handle of the clip portion is hooked to the edge portion of the garbage can and pressed, the clip portion body is opened, and the clipped insect-catching sheet is separated and dropped into the garbage can in this state. Therefore, it is not necessary to use both hands as in the conventional case, and the captured vermin can be easily treated with only one hand. In addition, discomfort can be reduced without the need to approach the captured pests each time.

The insect catching device according to claim 2 is the insect catching device according to claim 1, wherein the clip is formed of a flexible multi-stage tube. According to such a configuration, when the clip is appropriately extended, the insect-catching sheet can be easily made to face a position difficult to reach by a hand, such as a ceiling or a hidden place, and even pests inhabiting such a place can be easily caught. In addition, the extension of the clip like this makes it possible to handle the caught pest together with the insect-catching sheet by one hand while keeping the state as described above without frequent hand changes even when the hand is separated from the insect-catching sheet where the pest was caught.

Effects of the invention

According to the present invention, when the insect-catching sheet with the insect caught therein is placed in the garbage can with the clip held by one hand, and then the claw of the handle of the clip portion is hooked on the edge of the garbage can and pressed, the clip portion body is opened, and the clipped insect-catching sheet is separated and dropped into the garbage can in this state. Therefore, it is possible to easily dispose of the caught pests with only one hand without using both hands as in the conventional art, and it is not necessary to approach the caught pests each time, and it is possible to reduce the discomfort.

Detailed Description

Embodiments of the present invention are described below with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 to 3 are views showing an embodiment of an insect catching tool 100 of the present invention, fig. 1 being a perspective view thereof, fig. 2 being a side view, and fig. 3 being a bottom view. As shown, the insect catching means 100 is formed by an insect catching sheet 10 and a holder 20 holding the insect catching sheet 10.

The insect-catching sheet 10 is detachably attached to the front end of the holder 20 as shown in the drawings, and has a structure shown in fig. 4 and 5. That is, the insect-catching sheet 10 is configured to have an adhesive layer (adhesive surface) 12 on one surface of a sheet main body 11 formed in a substantially rectangular shape, for example, about 10 to 20cm in length by 5 to 15cm in width by 2 to 5mm in thickness. The sheet main body 11 is made of a soft resin such as polyurethane or foamed polyethylene, or a soft material such as paper, and can be folded in two from a predetermined position described later.

The adhesive layer (adhesive surface) 12 is formed of an adhesive such as a rubber-based adhesive or an acrylic adhesive, and is formed on the entire surface of the end portion of the sheet main body 11 excluding the mounting portion 11a, as shown in fig. 4. A pair of mounting holes 13, 13 are formed in the mounting portion 11a in the width direction thereof, and the mounting portion 11a is mounted to a pressing plate 21 of a later-described holder 20 using the mounting holes 13, 13. As shown in fig. 4 and 5, the surface of the sheet main body 11 on which the adhesive layer 12 is formed is embossed, and fine protrusions 11b having a height of, for example, about 0.5 to 1.0mm are formed in a plurality of grid dots at intervals of 5 to 10 mm.

Further, a cut portion (slit) S is formed in the width direction of the sheet main body 11 on the surface opposite to the adhesive layer 12, and the sheet main body 11 is folded in two from the cut portion S with the adhesive layer 12 side as the inside, as shown in fig. 6. As shown in fig. 4, the adhesive layer 12 of the sheet main body 11 is covered with a release paper 14, not shown, and when the release paper 14 is peeled off, the adhesive layer 12 is exposed.

Next, the holder 20 is constituted by including: a pressing plate 21 located on the upper surface (non-adhesive surface) side of the insect-catching sheet 10 as shown in fig. 1 to 3; a clamp part 22 for holding the insect catching sheet 10 on the pressing plate 21; and a clip 23 extending from the clamping portion 22. First, as shown in fig. 1 to 4, the pressing plate 21 is formed of a thin plate body in a spoon shape, like a spoon, whose tip is expanded into an elliptical shape, and the insect-catching chips 10 are attached to the inner side (lower surface side) thereof.

That is, as shown in fig. 4, the narrowing portion (clip 23 side) at the lower surface end of the pressing plate 21 is formed with: a pair of projections 21a, 21a corresponding to the pair of mounting holes 13, 13 formed in the mounting portion 11a of the sheet main body 11; and guide portions 21b, 21b extending along the outer edge of the mounting portion 11a, and by fitting the projections 21a, 21a into the mounting holes 13, 13 of the sheet main body 11, respectively, the insect-catching sheet 10 can be mounted on the lower surface of the pressing plate 21 shown in fig. 3.

The entire pressing plate 21 or at least a flat plate portion at the distal end thereof, for example, a portion located forward of the line L in fig. 4, is formed of a rubber (elastomer), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) called soft rubber or the like, or a soft resin material such as polyethylene, polypropylene or the like, and has flexibility capable of being deformed and restored by applying an appropriate force.

As shown in fig. 4, 7, and 8, the clamp portion 22 includes a clamp portion main body 22a formed in a fan shape, a rod-shaped handle 22b extending from the clamp portion main body 22a, shaft holes 22c and 22c located at a connection portion of the clamp portion 22, a coil spring 22d, and split pins 22e and 22e for connection.

Then, as shown in fig. 7, in a state where one end of the coil spring 22d is fitted into the spring groove 22g of the handle 22b and positioned, after the shaft holes 22c and 22c are positioned coaxially with the shaft hole, not shown, on the pressing plate 21 side, the split pins 22e and 22e are inserted into the shaft holes 22c and 22c from both sides to integrate the clamp portion 22, and the clamp portion 22 is attached to be swingable up and down about the split pins 22e and 22 e.

The clamp portion 22 attached to the pressing plate 21 in this manner is biased by a coil spring 22d provided on the shaft portion thereof so that the clamp portion main body 22a formed in a fan shape abuts against the lower surface side of the pressing plate 21. Therefore, when the handle 22b is rotated toward the clip 23 by a finger as shown in fig. 9, the entire clip portion body 22a is swung to separate from the pressing plate 21, and when the clip 23 is released from this state, the clip portion 22 automatically returns (opens and closes) by the urging force of the coil spring 22 d.

As shown in fig. 7 and 8, a claw 30 having a substantially triangular cross section is formed on the distal end side of the grip 22b of the clamp portion 22 so as to project downward. As shown in fig. 7 and 8, fitting holes 22f, 22f having a shape similar to the attachment holes 13, 13 of the insect-catching chip 10 are formed in the clamp body 22a of the clamp 22, and when the clamp body 22a is brought into close contact with the lower surface of the pressing plate 21, the clamp body 22a is fitted into the projections 21a, 21a on the pressing plate 21 side, and the clamp body 22a is brought into close contact with the pressing plate 21 without interference.

As shown in fig. 10, the clip 23 is formed of a multi-stage tube (pipe body) which can be extended and contracted. That is, as shown in the figure, the clip 23 includes a hollow clip main body 23a directly gripped by a hand, a 1 st inner tube 23b inserted into and removed from the clip main body 23a, a 2 nd inner tube 23c inserted into and removed from the 1 st inner tube 23b, and a 3 rd inner tube 23d inserted into and removed from the 2 nd inner tube 23 c.

The 3 rd inner tube 23d is integrally connected at its distal end side to the pressing plate 21 by a collet 23e extending from the upper end surface of the pressing plate 21. The lengths of the clip main body 23a, the 1 st inner tube 23b, the 2 nd inner tube 23c, and the 3 rd inner tube 23d are, for example, about 20cm, and the length in the expanded state is 60 to 80cm in the maximum state, and the length in the contracted state is about 20cm in the length of the clip main body 23 a. Therefore, the length of the entire clip 23 can be freely adjusted within a range of about 20 to 80cm by adjusting the amount of discharge of the 1 st inner tube 23b, the 2 nd inner tube 23c, and the 3 rd inner tube 23d accommodated in the clip main body 23 a.

Next, the operation of the insect catching device 100 of the present invention using such a structure will be described. When an occupant finds an insect pest on the floor, wall, or the like in the room, first, as shown in fig. 9, the handle 22b of the grip portion 22 is lifted up, the insect-catching sheet 10 is attached to the lower surface of the pressing plate 21 with the adhesion surface 12 facing downward, and then the handle 22b of the grip portion 22 is released, and the insect-catching sheet 10 is sandwiched between the grip portion 22 and the pressing plate 21. At the same time, the 1 st inner tube 23b of the clip 23 is pulled out and adjusted to the length used as shown in fig. 10.

Then, as shown in fig. 11 (a) and (B), the clip body 23a of the clip 23 is held by hand, the insect-catching sheet 10 is covered from above the insect pest P like a fly swatter, and the pressing plate 21 is patted on the floor surface or the wall surface W at a stroke. As a result, the vermin P on the ground surface or the wall surface W adhere to the adhesive surface 12 of the insect-catching sheet 10, and the movement thereof is restricted and caught. Note that, for convenience, the clip 23 is shown in a state of being reduced to the minimum.

At the moment of this catching, as shown in fig. 12, the flexible pressing plate 21 is flexed together with the insect-catching sheet 10 and deformed so as to be in close contact with the outer surface of the insect pest P, so that the contact area between the adhesion surface 12 of the insect-catching sheet 10 and the insect pest P is increased, and the insect pest P can be reliably adhered to the adhesion surface 12 for catching.

Further, since the clip 23 is formed of a telescopic multi-stage pipe, when the clip 23 is appropriately extended as described above, the insect-catching sheet 10 can be easily made to face a position difficult to reach by hand, such as a ceiling or a hidden place, and thus even the insect pests P inhabiting such a place can be easily caught.

After the insect-catching sheet 10 is used to catch the insect pests P in this manner, as shown in fig. 11 (C), when the insect-catching sheet 10 is separated from the floor surface or the wall surface W, the insect pests P are caught by adhering to the adhering surface 12 of the insect-catching sheet 10. At this time, the insect-catching sheets 10 around the insect pests P are adhered to the floor surface or the wall surface W in contact therewith, but as described above, the contact between the adhering surface 12 of the insect-catching sheets 10 and the floor surface or the wall surface W is point contact only with the projections 11b, so that the insect-catching sheets 10 are not directly strongly adhered to the floor surface or the like, and can be easily peeled off. This is the same when it is assumed that the insect-catching sheet 10 fails to catch the insect pests P, and the sticking surface 12 of the insect-catching sheet 10 does not strongly stick to the floor surface, wall surface W, or the like and cannot be peeled off.

On the other hand, since most of the surfaces of the insect bodies P are curved or have complicated irregularities, simply covering the insect-catching sheet 10 by flapping will make the surface of the insect P contact with a large area, not only the projections 11b of the insect-catching sheet 10 but also the flat portions between the projections 11b, and strongly adhere to the surface of the insect P, so that the insect P cannot escape after once adhering to the surface, and can be reliably caught. The adhesive surface 12 of the insect-catching sheet 10 may be in a shape partially protruding from a plane, for example, in a grid shape, a mesh shape, a wavy shape, or the like, and the portion of the adhesive surface 12 of the insect-catching sheet 10 that contacts the floor surface, the wall surface W, or the like is in point or line contact, and thus is not limited to the embossed shape.

Next, after the vermin P are caught on the adhesive surface of the insect-catching sheet 10 in this way, the clip 23 is operated in this state, and as shown in fig. 6, the tip of the insect-catching sheet 10 is pressed against the ground surface, wall surface W, or the like in the vicinity thereof. Accordingly, the front end side of the sheet main body 11 of the insect-catching sheet 10 is bent toward the adhesive surface 12 at the cut-out portion S, and is pushed in and folded in two while maintaining this state. As a result, as shown in fig. C and D, the entire pest P caught on the adhesive surface 12 is covered so as to be wrapped by the bent tip portion of the sheet main body 11, and is completely caught inside and not visible from the outside.

Then, as shown in fig. 13 (a), after the insect-catching sheet 10 is moved to a trash can D or the like while maintaining this state, the handle 22b portion of the clamp portion 22 is pressed against the opening edge D of the trash can D. As a result, as shown in fig. 13B, the claw 30 provided at the tip of the handle 22B is hooked on the opening edge D of the dustbin D, the clamp portion 22 is pivoted about the split pin 22e portion, and the insect-catching sheet 10 is separated (dropped) from the pressing plate 21 together with the insect pests P and is accommodated in the dustbin D in this state.

Thereby, the insect-catching sheet 10 can be hygienically and conveniently handled while avoiding contact with the caught insect pests P or directly seeing the insect pests P. In addition, in this operation, it is not necessary to use both hands as in the conventional art, and the caught pests can be easily treated with only one hand, and the caught pests do not need to be approached each time, so that the uncomfortable feeling can be avoided or reduced.

Further, by appropriately extending the clip 23, the insect-catching sheet 10 can be easily made to face even a place which is difficult to reach by a hand such as a ceiling or a hidden place, and even pests inhabiting such a place can be easily caught. Further, by extending the clip 23 in this manner, even when the distance between the hand and the insect-catching sheet 10 in which the insect pests P are caught is increased, the insect pests are treated with one hand while maintaining this state without frequent exchange of hands.
