Background

With the continuous development of information technology, the reading habits of people are greatly changed, and the requirements on printing and framing of paper books are higher and higher.

The thread-bound book has long history, has the advantages of simple processing, long storage time and the like, and is a binding mode which is widely used and is very popular with readers.

As shown in fig. 1, in general, a thread bound book includes a book block, a front cover and a back cover thereof, four edges are respectively a book back 6, a book edge 1, a book head 5 and a book root 2, and a part close to the book back 6 for binding is a book head 8; when binding is carried out by using a thread binding mode, firstly, a plurality of thread holes 3 are arranged at the position of a book head 8, the number of the thread holes 3 is usually even, such as four or eight, then, a binding thread 4 is used for penetrating through the thread holes 3 to wind around the book back, and the binding thread 4 is tightened and fixed to obtain a finished book. In order to ensure that the sheets of the book's fore-end 5 and back-end 2 do not fall apart during threading, the binding thread 4 must be wound around the fore-end 5 and back-end 2 to form a wrap angle 7.

Although the thread-bound book is popular with readers, the thread-bound book still has a plurality of defects, which are mainly shown in that the thread holes can be seen when the book is turned over; when the book is turned over, a turning line overlapped with the binding line is easily formed along the threading hole, so that the damage of the paper is accelerated, and the service life of the bound book is influenced; during threading, the binding thread needs to be wound around the book head and the book root, so that the book head and the book root are inconvenient to carry out secondary processing, and the binding thread is damaged by cutting, polishing and other procedures in the secondary processing technology, such as edge rolling, red spraying, graphic and character printing and the like; the book back is not smooth enough and is not suitable for hardcover and the like.

The invention provides a thread bound book which is smoother and firmer, has beautiful appearance and long service life, and particularly relates to a thread bound book which is suitable for being bound into a hardcover edition.

The thread bound book is characterized by further comprising a U-shaped groove, the U-shaped groove is embedded in the book back of the book block, a positioning hole corresponding to the thread hole in the book block is formed in the U-shaped groove, and the binding thread penetrates through the positioning hole and the thread hole and winds around the book back to fix the book block and the U-shaped groove into a whole.

Furthermore, the distance d between the positioning hole of the U-shaped groove and the edge of the U-shaped groove is 2-10mm, the height h of the U-shaped groove does not exceed the thickness of the book back, and the length of the U-shaped groove is the same as that of the book back.

In the invention, the U-shaped groove is made of materials with moderate hardness, such as polyethylene, polypropylene, hard board and the like, so that the U-shaped groove can keep the shape of the U-shaped groove unchanged, the book block is fixed in the U-shaped groove and cannot be scattered, and the U-shaped groove can be deformed moderately, so that the book block and the U-shaped groove can be tightened by the binding thread. In addition, considering that the thickness of the book block is compressed to a certain degree during binding, the height of the U-shaped groove is usually slightly smaller than the thickness of the book block, so that after the binding wire is tightened, the U-shaped groove is not greatly deformed, and the smoothness and firmness of the book back are ensured.

In the invention, a U-shaped groove is added on the basis of the traditional thread bound book, and the binding thread passes through the positioning hole and the thread penetrating hole and is bound by winding the book back without winding the book head and the book back, so that the binding thread is not left at the book head and the book back, secondary processing such as gold stamping, red spraying, pattern printing and the like is not influenced on three sides of the book block except the book back, and the thread bound book is very suitable for manufacturing the thread bound book of a hardcover edition. Meanwhile, the positioning hole on the U-shaped groove has a certain distance from the edge of the U-shaped groove, so that the book cannot form a folding line overlapped with the threading hole when being turned, and the service life of the book is greatly prolonged.

The thread bound book has the characteristics of ingenious conception, simple structure, flatness, firmness, attractive appearance, long service life and the like, not only retains the advantages of the thread bound book, but also can be processed into the thread bound book of the hardcover edition.
