A washing machine is characterized by comprising:

a washing tub for accommodating laundry;

a pulsator disposed at a bottom of the washing tub; and

a driving part for driving the pulsator,

the pulsator includes:

a disc-shaped base having a concave surface on a surface thereof;

a protrusion protruding from the concave surface at a central portion of the base; and

two blade portions rising from the concave surface in a mountain shape and facing each other with the protrusion portion interposed therebetween,

the blade portion includes:

a first ridge portion extending in a radial direction of the base portion at a position higher than a top of the protrusion portion;

a second ridge portion that is inclined so as to be continuous from the first ridge portion and descend toward the protrusion portion side;

a first inclined surface and a second inclined surface which are inclined so as to rise from the concave surfaces on both sides of the first ridge portion and the second ridge portion in the circumferential direction toward the ridge portions, respectively; and

and a protruding portion provided so as to protrude from the second ridge portion and extending along the second ridge portion.

The washing machine as claimed in claim 1,

the height of the protrusion is set to be less than half of the height of the blade.

A washing machine according to claim 1 or 2,

the first inclined surface and the second inclined surface have different inclinations from each other.

A washing machine according to any one of claims 1 to 3,

the pulsator further comprises: a rotating body provided above the protruding portion so as to be rotatable with respect to the protruding portion,

the height position of the top of the rotating body is set to be lower than the height position of the uppermost part of the blade part.

A washing machine according to claim 4,

the rotating body has a shape in which the diameter thereof becomes smaller toward the upper side.

A washing machine according to claim 4 or 5,

a plurality of projections are formed on the surface of the rotating body.
