1. A clear emulsion composition comprising:

100 parts by weight of a silicone polymer;

100 to 300 parts by weight of a silicone oil;

1 to 10 parts by weight of an amino silicone oil;

50 to 100 parts by weight of an emulsifier;

50 to 90 parts by weight of a first humectant;

70 to 110 parts by weight of a second humectant; and

1 to 10 parts by weight of a thickener.

2. The transparent emulsion composition of claim 1, wherein the first humectant and the second humectant are combined in a weight ratio of from 0.4:1 to 1.3: 1.

3. The clear emulsion composition of claim 1, wherein the first humectant comprises glycerin and the second humectant comprises 1, 3-butylene glycol.

The transparent emulsion composition according to claim 1, wherein the emulsifier is one or more selected from the group consisting of Glycereth-7 (Glycereth-7), Glycereth-8 (Glycereth-8), Glycereth-12 (Glycereth-12), Glycereth-13 (Glycereth-13), Glycereth-18 (Glycereth-18), Glycereth-20 (Glycereth-20), Glycereth-26 (Glycereth-26), and Glycereth-31 (Glycereth-31).

5. The transparent emulsion composition according to claim 1, wherein the thickener is one or more selected from the group consisting of carbomer, hydroxyethylcellulose, hydroxypropylcellulose, hydroxymethylpropylcellulose, hydroxyethylmethylcellulose, hydroxybutylcellulose, hydroxybutylmethylcellulose, hydroxyphenylcellulose, methylcellulose, carboxymethylcellulose, xanthan gum, gum arabic, and hyaluronic acid.

6. A cosmetic comprising the transparent emulsion composition according to any one of claims 1 to 5.

Technical Field

The present invention relates to a transparent emulsion composition for Cosmetic formulations (Cosmetic formulations).

Background

At present, in order to disperse an oil phase component which is hardly dispersed in a cosmetic preparation having an "aqueous phase" as a medium, a cosmetic preparation having a plurality of components has been developed. In particular, efforts are constantly being made to improve the phenomena (demixing), phase separation, instability) that occur due to the presence of an oil phase that is not dispersed (or hardly dispersed) in water.

As a technique for stabilizing a cosmetic preparation containing the oil phase component, an encapsulation (encapsulation) technique is applied. The encapsulation technique employs an organic polymer, for example, a coacervation (coacervation) method, in order to mix the oil, which is hardly dispersed, into the aqueous phase. The method allows the cationic amino polymer present in the oil phase and the anion of the carbomer (acrylic acid) present in the water phase to react to form a polymeric film, thereby forming stable emulsion particles.

The essential oil emulsion encapsulated by the coacervation method has an advantage in that a polymer film is formed by ionic bonding without using a surfactant to produce emulsion particles, but has a problem in that phase change is unstable at normal or high temperature. Furthermore, cosmetics prepared using the essential oil emulsion as a cosmetic preparation have a problem of deterioration in the feeling of use, and therefore, in order to improve these problems, it is necessary to develop a novel emulsion composition for cosmetics.

Disclosure of Invention

The invention provides a transparent emulsion composition which is characterized by excellent stability at normal temperature or high temperature and can improve the use feeling of cosmetics.

The invention provides a transparent emulsion composition, which comprises: 100 parts by weight of a silicone polymer; 100 to 300 parts by weight of a silicone oil; 1 to 10 parts by weight of an amino silicone oil; 50 to 100 parts by weight of an emulsifier; 50 to 90 parts by weight of a first humectant; 70 to 110 parts by weight of a second humectant; and 1 to 10 parts by weight of a thickener.

The emulsifier may be a reactant of ethylene oxide and glycerin, and may be, for example, one or more selected from the group consisting of Glycereth-7 (Glycereth-7), Glycereth-8 (Glycereth-8), Glycereth-12 (Glycereth-12), Glycereth-13 (Glycereth-13), Glycereth-18 (Glycereth-18), Glycereth-20 (Glycereth-20), Glycereth-26 (Glycereth-26), and Glycereth-31 (Glycereth-31).

The thickener may be one or more selected from the group consisting of carbomer, hydroxyethylcellulose, hydroxypropylcellulose, hydroxymethylpropylcellulose, hydroxyethylmethylcellulose, hydroxybutylcellulose, hydroxybutylmethylcellulose, hydroxyphenyl cellulose, methylcellulose, carboxymethylcellulose, xanthan gum, gum arabic, and hyaluronic acid.

The transparent emulsion composition of the present invention may further comprise one or more selected from the group consisting of a preservative, a chelating agent, a pH adjuster, and a diluent.

Meanwhile, the present invention provides a cosmetic comprising the transparent emulsion composition.

Effects of the invention

The transparent emulsion composition of the present invention can exhibit excellent stability at normal temperature or high temperature, and therefore, the present invention provides a cosmetic with light feeling of use by applying the transparent emulsion composition to a cosmetic.

Detailed Description

The present invention will be explained below.

The transparent emulsion composition of the present invention comprises: silicone polymer, silicone oil, amino silicone oil, emulsifier, first humectant, second humectant, and thickener.

The silicone polymer included in the transparent emulsion composition of the present invention is used to form a Gel (Gel), and may be a silicone elastomer. For example, the silicone polymer of the present invention may be a silicone elastomer obtained by a reaction of an organohydrogensiloxane and a compound having at least 2 or more aliphatic unsaturated groups in the molecule in the presence of a hydrosilylation catalyst.

For example, the silicone polymer of the present invention may be a Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer (Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer).

Further, for example, the structure of a siloxane polymer obtained by the reaction of the organohydrogensiloxane (chemical formula 1) and the compound having at least 2 or more aliphatic unsaturated groups in the molecule (chemical formula 2) is as follows.

In chemical formula 1, x is an integer of 20 to 50, y is an integer of 1 to 10, and in chemical formula 2, x is an integer of 10 to 30.

The siloxane polymer may be in a state of being dispersed in a medium (transfer liquid).

The silicone oil contained in the transparent emulsion composition of the present invention is the above-mentioned medium, and conventionally known components can be used. For example, the silicone oil of the present invention may be low-viscosity polydimethylsiloxane (polydimethysiloxane) of 100cP or less. In this case, the polydimethylsiloxane of the present invention may be Dimethicone (Dimethicone), Cetyl Dimethicone (Cetyl Dimethicone), Decamethylcyclopentasiloxane (decamethyycyclopentasiloxane), or a polymer obtained by polymerizing one or more of them.

The content of the silicone oil in the transparent emulsion composition may be 100 to 300 parts by weight, for example, 200 to 300 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the silicone polymer. When the content of the silicone oil is less than 100 parts by weight, the effect of feeling in use (flexibility, feeling of use with silkiness, gloss, etc.) which are characteristics of the silicone oil may be reduced, and when it exceeds 300 parts by weight, the emulsion stability may be reduced due to an excessive content of the silicone oil.

The amino silicone oil contained in the transparent emulsion composition of the present invention may be any conventionally known one. For example, the amino silicone oil of the present invention may be a compound represented by the following chemical formula 3.

In the chemical formula 3, the first and second organic solvents,

r is an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms (e.g., methyl) or an alkoxy group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms (e.g., methoxy), and m is an integer of 30 to 60, and n is an integer of 1 to 10.

The content of the amino silicone oil in the transparent emulsion composition may be 1 to 10 parts by weight, for example, 1 to 5 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the silicone polymer. When the content of the amino silicone oil is less than 1 part by weight, cationic groups capable of reacting with acrylic acid of a thickener such as carbomer therein are reduced, resulting in unstable encapsulation and lowering of stability of the emulsion composition, and when it exceeds 10 parts by weight, the appearance of the emulsion composition may be deep yellow or the stability of the emulsion composition may be lowered due to the increase of the content of the amino silicone oil.

The emulsifier included in the clear emulsion composition of the present invention may be a reactant of ethylene oxide and glycerin. For example, the reactant may be one or more selected from the group consisting of glyceryl polyether-7 (Glycereth-7), glyceryl polyether-8 (Glycereth-8), glyceryl polyether-12 (Glycereth-12), glyceryl polyether-13 (Glycereth-13), glyceryl polyether-18 (Glycereth-18), glyceryl polyether-20 (Glycereth-20), glyceryl polyether-26 (Glycereth-26), and glyceryl polyether-31 (Glycereth-31).

The emulsifier may be contained in the transparent emulsion composition in an amount of 50 to 100 parts by weight, for example, 60 to 80 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the silicone polymer. When the content of the emulsifier is less than 50 parts by weight, the emulsion composition may have a reduced stability because emulsification cannot be performed normally, and when it exceeds 100 parts by weight, the emulsion composition may have a HAZY Appearance (HAZY) and may affect the feeling of use of the cosmetic formulation.

The first humectant contained in the clear emulsion composition of the present invention comprises glycerin. For example, the first humectant may be glycerin alone, or may be a mixture of glycerin and one or more of propylene glycol and dipropylene glycol.

The content of the first humectant in the transparent emulsion composition may be 50 to 90 parts by weight, for example, 80 to 90 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the silicone polymer. By limiting the content of the first humectant to the above range, the transparent emulsion composition of the present invention exhibits high transparency, and the cosmetic containing it can have a further improved feeling in use. When the content of the first humectant is less than 50 parts by weight, the feeling of use of the cosmetic may be reduced or it may be difficult to secure the transparency of the emulsion composition, and when it exceeds 90 parts by weight, it may be difficult to secure the transparency of the emulsion composition due to the difference between the refractive indices of the oil phase and the water phase.

The second humectant included in the clear emulsion composition of the present invention comprises 1, 3-butanediol. For example, the second humectant may be 1, 3-butanediol alone, or may be a mixture of 1, 3-butanediol and one or more of propylene glycol and dipropylene glycol.

The second humectant may be present in the transparent emulsion composition in an amount of 70 to 110 parts by weight, for example, 90 to 110 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the silicone polymer. When the content of the second humectant is less than 70 parts by weight, the lightness of the cosmetic to which the second humectant is added may be reduced, and when it exceeds 110 parts by weight, it is difficult to secure the transparency of the emulsion composition due to the difference between the refractive indices of the oil phase and the aqueous phase.

Wherein the mixing weight ratio of the first humectant to the second humectant (first humectant: second humectant) is 0.4:1 to 1.3:1, for example, may be 0.5: 1 to 0.9: 1. if the mixing weight ratio is exceeded, the feeling of use of the cosmetic is reduced, and it is difficult to ensure the transparency of the emulsion composition due to the difference in refractive index between the oil phase and the aqueous phase.

The thickener included in the transparent emulsion composition of the present invention may be carbomer, hydroxyethyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hydroxymethylpropyl cellulose, hydroxyethylmethyl cellulose, hydroxybutyl methyl cellulose, hydroxyphenyl cellulose, methyl cellulose, carboxymethyl cellulose, xanthan gum, gum arabic, or hyaluronic acid, or a mixture of one or more thereof, and may be carbomer, for example.

The thickener may be contained in the transparent emulsion composition in an amount of 1 to 10 parts by weight, for example, 2 to 7 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the silicone polymer. By limiting the content of the thickener to the above range, the transparent emulsion composition of the present invention can maintain a stable dispersion state even at normal or high temperatures. When the content of the thickener is less than 1 part by weight, acrylic acid that may react with cationic groups of the oil phase in the thickener is reduced, resulting in unstable encapsulation, or the thickening effect is reduced, which may cause a decrease in stability of the emulsion composition, while when it exceeds 10 parts by weight, too high viscosity may affect the feeling of use of the cosmetic.

Meanwhile, the transparent emulsion composition of the present invention may further include one or more additives selected from the group consisting of a preservative, a chelating agent, a pH adjuster, and a diluent to further improve physical properties thereof.

The preservative further contained in the clear emulsion composition of the present invention may use generally known ingredients. For example, the preservative may be one or more selected from phenoxyethanol, pentanediol, methylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben, benzoic acid, chlorobenzoic acid, sodium benzoate, hexanediol, propylene glycol, diazolidinyl urea, imidazolidinyl urea, sodium benzoate, calcium benzoate, methylparaben, and alkylbenzoate.

The preservative may be contained in the transparent emulsion composition in an amount of 1 to 40 parts by weight, for example, 5 to 30 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the silicone polymer. When the content of the preservative is less than 1 part by weight, the preservative effect may be reduced to induce the growth of microorganisms, and when it exceeds 40 parts by weight, the preservative may not be applied to cosmetics because of an excessive amount of the preservative added.

When phenoxyethanol and pentanediol are used as the preservative, the content of phenoxyethanol in the transparent emulsion composition may be 1 to 10 parts by weight, for example, 5 to 10 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the silicone polymer. Further, the content of the pentanediol in the transparent emulsion composition may be 10 to 30 parts by weight, for example, 20 to 30 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the silicone polymer.

The chelating agent further contained in the transparent emulsion composition of the present invention is a metal ion sealant, and a conventionally known component can be used. For example, the chelating agent may be ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), phosphoric acid, citric acid, ascorbic acid, succinic acid, gluconic acid, sodium polyphosphate, sodium metaphosphate, and the like.

The chelating agent may be contained in the transparent emulsion composition in an amount of 0.1 to 5 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the silicone polymer. When the content of the chelating agent is less than 0.1 parts by weight, metal components or ions may be present in the cosmetic, and thus, the stability of the cosmetic may be lowered, and when it exceeds 5 parts by weight, it may be not easily dissolved in the water phase and precipitation may occur.

The pH adjuster further contained in the transparent emulsion composition of the present invention may be any conventionally known ingredients. For example, the pH adjuster may be sodium hydroxide, triethanolamine, sodium citrate, or the like.

The content of the pH adjustor in the transparent emulsion composition may be 0.1 to 5 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the silicone polymer. When the content of the pH adjustor is less than 0.1 part by weight, there may be a trouble of requiring additional input of the pH adjustor since the pH is too low to meet the target specification, and when it exceeds 5 parts by weight, there may be a problem in stability of the emulsion composition since the pH is too high.

The transparent emulsion composition of the present invention further comprises a diluent for adjusting the viscosity of the composition, and generally known ingredients may be used. For example, the diluent may be water, pure water, deionized water, or the like.

The content of the diluent in the transparent emulsion composition may be 100 to 500 parts by weight, for example, 300 to 500 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the silicone polymer. When the content of the diluent is less than 100 parts by weight, the viscosity of the emulsion composition may be excessively high, and the diluent may be additionally added, and when it exceeds 500 parts by weight, the refractive index of water may be excessively low, so that the refractive indices of the oil phase and the water phase may not be matched, and thus, the transparency of the emulsion composition may be reduced or the viscosity may be excessively low, so that the stability of the emulsion composition may be reduced.

As described above, the transparent emulsion composition of the present invention has excellent transparency and long-term dispersion stability because the content of each component is limited to a specific range. Therefore, the transparent emulsion composition of the present invention can be suitably used in various fields, and can be effectively used particularly as a cosmetic preparation.

The present invention provides a cosmetic comprising the transparent emulsion composition. The cosmetic comprises a transparent emulsion composition, and therefore, phase transition is minimized at normal or high temperature, so that stability can be maintained and a light feeling in use can be presented. The cosmetic of the present invention may be in the form of lotion, milky lotion, cream, essence, ointment, spray, gel, lotion, etc.

The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to examples. However, the following examples are merely illustrative of the present invention, and the present invention is not limited to the following examples.

Transparent emulsion compositions (unit: parts by weight) comprising the ingredients listed in table 1 below were prepared in a usual manner.

The physical properties of the transparent emulsion compositions prepared in examples and comparative examples were evaluated by the following methods, and the results are shown in the following tables 3 and 4:

1. appearance: the transparency was evaluated by visual confirmation with a haze rating (1-5: lower, more transparent)

2. Viscosity: brookfiled viscometer heilifatic stand #93,4rpm

3. Particle size: the microparticles were measured using a Marvern Master Size 3000 Instrument

4. Normal temperature/high temperature stability: the evaluation was carried out in an oven at 25 ℃ C (normal temperature) and 50 ℃ C (high temperature)

5. Feeling of use: the 10 members of the experimental group averaged the results evaluated according to the following evaluation items:

1) evaluation items: gloss (Gloss)/Smoothness (Smoothness)/Smoothness (Silkiness)/matte Gloss (Mattness)

2) And (3) scoring: 5-very Excellent/4-Excellent/3-Normal/2-poor/1-very poor

6. Fragrance: 10 groups of experiments were obtained by averaging the results evaluated according to the following evaluation items

1) Evaluation items: sour incense

2) And (3) scoring: 5-good/4-good/3-general/2-poor/1-very poor flavor

Referring to tables 3 and 4 above, it was confirmed that the transparent emulsion compositions of examples 1 to 6, which correspond to the transparent emulsion compositions of the present invention, have more excellent feeling in use, transparency and stability than the transparent emulsion compositions of comparative examples 1 to 8.
