The method adopts gradient roasting, mainly caters for the characteristic that the bentonite has different surface areas when roasted at different temperatures, so that the surface area of the bentonite is gradually increased, the bentonite can lose surface water firstly when being heated, water and impurities in air attack are adsorbed between layers, the adsorption resistance generated by water films and impurities is reduced, and the adsorbability of the bentonite is improved.

In conclusion, the bentonite is modified, so that the bentonite layer in the waterproof blanket has larger surface area and stronger adsorbability, and the waterproof blanket has better water permeation resistance.
