Background

Under the double pressure of resource environment, lubricating oil with good reproducibility and environment-friendly performance becomes one of the main development trends of modern lubricating oil. The total amount of the base oil accounts for more than 80% of the lubricating oil, so the base oil of the lubricating oil is a main factor for determining the environment-friendly performance of the lubricating oil. At present, vegetable oil or vegetable oil derivatives are mostly adopted as base oil in the environment-friendly lubricating oil, and meanwhile, part of functional additives are added to meet the requirement of high performance. The added functional components mainly play an extreme pressure role in containing sulfur compounds, including sulfurized isobutylene, polysulfide, sulfurized fatty acid ester and the like. While improving the bearing performance of the base oil, the active sulfur in the molecule of the sulfur-containing compound can cause corrosion to nonferrous metals such as copper, silver and the like, so a metal passivator is usually required to be introduced for preventing the corrosion of the nonferrous metals by the sulfur-containing additive.

The methylbenzotriazole and the derivative thereof are common metal passivators and are widely applied to hydraulic oil, gear oil and transmission fluid. The corrosion of nonferrous metal parts can be effectively prevented through the chelating action with metals, and the accelerated corrosion of copper ions to carbon steel can also be prevented (CN 200810105654.5; CN201310290058. Benzotriazole/tolyltriazole is poor in solubility in conventional lubricating oil, so that benzotriazole/tolyltriazole is rarely used alone as a corrosion inhibitor, and a long-chain hydrocarbon compound with good oil solubility is introduced into a molecule of benzotriazole/tolyltriazole by a chemical modification method to improve the solubility of benzotriazole/tolyltriazole in base oil (US 4791206; US 4456539).

Disclosure of Invention

Aiming at the problems that plant-based lubricating oil is required to resist corrosion performance and methylbenzotriazole is poor in solubility in the lubricating oil, the invention provides plant-based base oil with a copper corrosion inhibition function.

The technical scheme of the invention is as follows: the plant-based base oil is obtained by the chemical reaction of Epoxidized Soybean Oil (ESO) and methylbenzotriazole (TTA) (the finished product is named as ESO-TTA).
