1. A home appliance control system comprising:

the monitoring device comprises a control server and a first communication circuit;

a microprocessor module;

wherein the second communication circuit receives the identification code and the device control command via the first communication circuit and transmits the identification code and the device control command to the gateway management module, the device control command is used for instructing to turn on or turn off a home control function corresponding to at least one home device,

when the gateway management module judges that the identification code is identical to one of one or more identification codes prestored in the storage module, the gateway management module starts the home control function corresponding to at least one home device corresponding to the device control instruction.

2. The home device control system of claim 1, wherein the monitoring apparatus is a digital video recorder.

3. The home appliance control system of claim 1, wherein the identification code and the appliance control command conform to a transmission format of a PTZ protocol, the first communication circuit transmitting the identification code and the appliance control command to the gateway management module according to the PTZ protocol.

4. The home appliance control system of claim 1, wherein the identification code is generated according to a user name and a password registered to the control server via the local area network.

5. The home device control system of claim 1, wherein the plurality of identification codes are pre-stored to the storage module by manual input.

6. The home device control system of claim 1, wherein the number of the plurality of identification codes is less than a predefined value.

7. The home appliance control system of claim 1, wherein the first operation interface is accessed with a browser or accessed with a mobile device application.

8. The home device control system of claim 1, wherein the area network is a wired area network or a wireless area network.

9. A home appliance control method, comprising:

pre-storing one or more identification codes;

receiving a connection request, logging in a control server of a monitoring device through a local area network according to the connection request and generating an identification code;

receiving and transmitting the identification code and a device control command, wherein the device control command is used for instructing to turn on or turn off a home control function corresponding to at least one home device,

and when the identification code is judged to be the same as one of the pre-stored or multiple identification codes, starting the home control function corresponding to at least one home device corresponding to the device control instruction.

10. The home appliance control method as claimed in claim 9, wherein the monitoring device is a digital video recorder.

11. The home device control method according to claim 9, wherein the step of receiving and transmitting the identification code and the device control command instructing to turn on or off at least the home control function corresponding to the home device further comprises:

and transmitting the identification code and the equipment control command which conform to the transmission format of the PTZ communication protocol according to the PTZ communication protocol.

accessing the connection request by a browser or receiving the connection request by a mobile device application, logging in to the control server of the monitoring device via the local area network according to the connection request and generating the identification code.

16. The home device control method as claimed in claim 9, wherein the area network is a wired area network or a wireless area network.

Technical Field

Background

The rapid development of computer technology has led to the development of many automated devices, such as washing machines, dish washing machines, and floor sweeping robots, in the daily life of the general public. Disclosure of Invention

The invention provides a household equipment control system and a method thereof, which are combined with the existing monitoring system to enable a user to simply, conveniently and safely carry out remote control on household equipment.

The invention provides a household equipment control system, which comprises: the monitoring device, at least one mobile communication device and the home control gateway. The monitoring device comprises a control server and a first communication circuit. The mobile communication devices provide a first operation interface for receiving a connection request, log in to the control server through a local area network according to the connection request and generate an identification code. The household control gateway comprises a microprocessor module, a storage module, a gateway management module and a second communication circuit. The memory module is coupled to the microprocessor module and pre-stores one or more identification codes. The gateway management module is coupled to the microprocessor module. The second communication circuit is coupled to the microprocessor module and the gateway management module, wherein the second communication circuit receives the identification code and the equipment control instruction through the first communication circuit and transmits the identification code and the equipment control instruction to the gateway management module, the equipment control instruction is used for indicating to turn on or turn off the home control function corresponding to at least one home equipment, and when the gateway management module judges that the identification code is the same as one of one or more identification codes prestored by the storage module, the gateway management module starts the home control function corresponding to the at least one home equipment corresponding to the equipment control instruction.

In an exemplary embodiment of the invention, in the home appliance control system, the monitoring device is a digital video recorder.

Based on the above, the home device control system and the method thereof provided by the invention combine the existing monitoring system, and the monitoring system transmits the identification code and the device control command conforming to the transmission format of the PTZ communication protocol to the home control gateway by using the PTZ communication protocol, so that the home control function corresponding to the home device is remotely controlled according to the device control command, and a user can simply, conveniently and safely remotely control the home device.

Detailed Description

With the maturity of network technology, if the steps of user identity confirmation can be simplified by combining with the existing monitoring system and a safe remote control mode is provided, it is imperative that the automatic home control system can be operated more conveniently and easily. The present invention has been developed based on the above-mentioned concept.

FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of a remote home control system according to an example embodiment.

Referring to fig. 1, the remote home control environment generally includes home devices, a home control gateway 20, a local area network 30, a mobile communication device 40, a mobile phone network 50 and a monitoring device 60.

The home devices include a power supply device 102, a lighting device 104, a security device 106, an air conditioning device 108, a home device 110, and an audio-visual entertainment device 112. However, it should be understood that the home appliance is not limited to the above, and the home appliance is not limited to the invention. For example, the power device 102, the lighting device 104, the security device 106, the air conditioning device 108, the home device 110, and the audio/visual entertainment device 112 respectively have a control chip or a control circuit for receiving the device control command from the home control gateway 20 and performing the functional operation of the corresponding home device according to the device control command.

The home control gateway 20 has one or more communication channels through which a user can communicate with the home control gateway 20 to remotely control the home devices.

The local area network 30 is a wireless local area network (Wi-Fi) established according to the local area network protocol transmission standard, and the home control gateway 20 can communicate with other electronic devices having network connection capability through the local area network 30. For example, the local area network transmission standard is an 802.11 series transmission standard according to the internet protocol, which is established by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), however, the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, the local area network 30 may be a wired local area network.

The mobile communication device 40 is a user's mobile communication equipment, and includes a subscriber identity Module Card (SIM Card). The mobile communication device 40 is, for example, a cellular Phone (Cell Phone), a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) mobile Phone, a Smart Phone (Smart Phone), or the like, and the invention is not limited to the type of the mobile communication device 40.

The Mobile phone network 50 provides telecommunication services For telecommunication service providers, such as Global System For Mobile Communications (GSM), Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA), or Personal Handy-phone System (PHS), etc.

The monitoring device 60 has one or more communication channels, and the user can transmit the identification code and the device control command to the home control gateway 20 via the communication channels according to the PTZ communication protocol to communicate with the home control gateway 20 for remote control of the home device.

Fig. 2 is a block diagram of a home control system according to an example embodiment, and fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of a home control gateway according to an example embodiment.

Referring to fig. 2 and 3, in an exemplary embodiment, the home control system 10 includes a mobile communication device 40, a monitoring device 60, and a home control gateway 20.

The monitoring device 60 includes a control server 602 and a first communication circuit 604. In an exemplary embodiment, the monitoring device 60 may be a Digital Video Recorder (DVR). The mobile communication device 40 used by the user can communicate with the home control gateway 20 by transmitting the identification code and the device control command to the home control gateway 20 via the first communication circuit 604 according to the PTZ communication protocol.

The mobile communication device 40 provides a first operation interface 402 for receiving a connection request. For example, the first operation interface 402 is a web control interface (i.e., accessed through a browser) or a mobile device Application (APP) interface for remote operation.

Fig. 4 is a schematic diagram of a first operation interface of the mobile communication device according to an example embodiment.

Referring to fig. 2 to 4, a user inputs a user name and a password through the first operation interface 402 to receive a connection request, transmits the connection request through the lan 30 and logs in to the control server 602, and after receiving the connection request and logging in to the control server 602, the control server 602 generates a unique identification code according to the user name and the password. The unique identification code is generated according to the user name and the password, for example, the identification code can be the user name. When it is confirmed that the connection request of the mobile communication device 40 is allowed, the control right for controlling the home control system 10 can be obtained, and the user can input a device control command through the first operation interface 402 to turn on or off the home control function corresponding to the home device in the home control system 10.

The home control gateway 20 includes a microprocessor module 202, a memory module 204, a gateway management module 206, and a second communication circuit 208.

In the present exemplary embodiment, the Microprocessor module 202 is, for example, a Central Processing Unit (CPU) or other Programmable Microprocessor (Microprocessor), a Digital Signal Processor (DSP), a Programmable controller, an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC), a Programmable logic Device (Programmable L organic Device, P L D), or the like.

The memory module 204 is coupled to the microprocessor module 202. The memory module 204 may be an embedded memory unit or an external memory unit. The embedded Memory unit may be a Random Access Memory (RAM), a Read-Only Memory (ROM), a Flash Memory (Flash Memory), a magnetic disk storage device (magnetic disk storage device), and the like. The external memory unit may be a Compact Flash (CF) memory card, a Secure Digital (SD) memory card, a Micro Secure Digital (Micro SD) memory card, a Memory Stick (MS), or the like. Specifically, in the exemplary embodiment, the storage module 204 is configured to store one or more identification codes, and may also store one or more programs or applications, and an operating system, for controlling the operation of the home control gateway 20.

In addition, before the user wants to perform the remote home control operation through the home control gateway 20, the user must pre-store the identification code in the storage module 204 of the home control gateway 20. In this exemplary embodiment, the user may store one or more identification codes.

In an exemplary embodiment, the home control gateway 20 provides a second operation interface through which the user can store the identification code into the storage module 204 by manual input. For example, in the case of storing the identification code in the storage module 204 of the home control gateway 20 by manual input, the second operation interface of the home control gateway 20 may include an input screen of the identification code, and the user may manually input the identification code through an electronic device having a physical keyboard or a virtual keyboard. For another example, the user can input the pre-stored identification code into the short message through the mobile communication device and transmit the short message to the home control gateway 20 for storage. For another example, the user can also use the phone keypad to input the identification code into the home control gateway 20 for storage through the voice operation service provided by the home control gateway 20. In the exemplary embodiment, the number of the identification codes that can be stored may be less than a predefined value, wherein the predefined value is estimated according to the capacity of the storage module 204.

The gateway management module 206 is coupled to the microprocessor module 202. The second communication circuit 208 is coupled to the microprocessor module 202 and the gateway management module 206.

In the present exemplary embodiment, the second communication circuit 208 receives the identification code and the device control command via the first communication circuit 604 and transmits the identification code and the device control command to the gateway management module 206, wherein the first communication circuit 604 transmits the identification code and the device control command to the gateway management module 206 according to the PTZ communication protocol.

The gateway management module 206 indicates the current control state of the home control gateway 20 as an on mode, an off mode, or others. For example, when the control state of the home control gateway 20 is the on mode, the representative home control gateway 20 allows remote control of the home devices. For example, when the control state of the home control gateway 20 is the off mode, it represents that the home control gateway 20 does not allow the remote control of the home device. The invention is not limited in this respect to the aspects contained in the control state. For example, the device control instructions are used to correspond to turning on and off the lighting device 104. In step S505, the second communication circuit 208 receives and transmits the identification code and the device control command to the gateway management module 206 via the first communication circuit 604, wherein the device control command is used to instruct to turn on or turn off the home control function corresponding to at least one home device. The identification code is generated by the user name and password logged into the control server 602 through the local area network 30 according to the connection request.

In step S507, the gateway management module 206 determines whether the identification code is identical to one of the one or more identification codes pre-stored in the storage module 204.

In step S509, if the gateway management module 206 determines that the identification code is identical to one of the one or more identification codes pre-stored in the storage module 204, the gateway management module 206 starts a home control function corresponding to at least one home device corresponding to the device control instruction.

In step S511, if the gateway management module 206 determines that the identification code is not identical to one of the one or more identification codes pre-stored in the storage module 204, the gateway management module 206 does not start the home control function corresponding to the at least one home device corresponding to the device control instruction.

Referring to fig. 4 and 5, in an exemplary embodiment, assuming that the user returns to home and wants to open the door using the mobile communication device 40 through the first operation interface 402, first, the user inputs a user name and a password through the first operation interface 402 to receive a connection request, the mobile communication device 40 logs in to the control server 602 through the local area network 30 according to the connection request, and the control server 602 generates an identification code. Moreover, the user can also input a device control command through the first operation interface 402, and the device control command is used for instructing to open the door lock of the gate. The control server 602 transmits the transport format identifier and the device control command conforming to the PTZ protocol to the home control gateway 20 via the first communication circuit 604. Specifically, the home control gateway 20 determines whether the identification code is identical to one of the pre-stored identification codes. When the identification code is confirmed to be the same as the pre-stored identification code, the home control gateway 20 determines that the connection request is allowed, and instructs to open the door lock of the gate according to the device control instruction. Thereby opening the gate to enable the user to smoothly enter the home.

To sum up, the home device control system and method of the embodiment of the invention transmit the identification code and the device control command conforming to the transmission format of the PTZ communication protocol to the home control gateway 20 through the existing DVR device, so as to remotely control the home control function corresponding to the home device according to the device control command. Therefore, the user can simply, easily, conveniently and safely control the household equipment through the remote end of the mobile communication device.

Although the present invention has been described with reference to the above embodiments, it should be understood that various changes and modifications can be made therein by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
