1. A system, comprising:

a positioning module disposed on the consumer electronic device;

a communication interface for providing communicative interaction with an aerosol-generating device; and

a data storage module, wherein the data storage module is configured to store the location determined by the positioning module, and wherein the stored location is associated with a communication interaction with the aerosol-generating device,

wherein the location is stored based on a trigger, which may include one or more of: upon establishing a communication interaction with the aerosol-generating device or during the communication interaction; and after the communication interaction with the aerosol generating device is terminated.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein the stored location is associated with a most recent communication interaction with the aerosol generating device.

3. A system as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2, comprising a display for indicating the storage location.

4. The system of any preceding claim, wherein an indication is provided when a communication interaction is established with the aerosol generating device.

5. The system of claim 4, wherein the user electronic device is adapted to provide a selectable button that, when selected, causes the communication interface to send instructions to the aerosol generating device to provide an audible indication and/or a tactile indication.

6. The system of any one of the preceding claims, wherein the data storage module is configured to store the location determined by the positioning module based on data received from the aerosol generating device in the communication interaction.

7. The system of any one of the preceding claims, further comprising an aerosol generating device comprising a communication interface.

8. The system of claim 8, wherein an indication is provided by the aerosol generating device at or during establishment of a communication interaction with the connection interface.

9. The system of claim 7 or claim 8, wherein the indication is provided by the aerosol generating device, the indication having a characteristic that depends on a separation distance between the aerosol generating device and the electronic user device.

10. A method comprising the steps of:

determining a location of the electronic user device;

providing a communication interaction between the electronic user device and an aerosol-generating device via a communication interface in the electronic user device; and

storing the location determined by the positioning module in a data storage module, wherein the stored location is associated with a communication interaction with the aerosol-generating device,

wherein the location is stored based on a trigger, which may include one or more of: upon establishing a communication interaction with the aerosol-generating device or during the communication interaction; and after the communication interaction with the aerosol generating device is terminated.

11. A computer-readable medium comprising instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform steps comprising:

determining a location of the electronic user device;

providing a communication interaction between the electronic user device and an aerosol-generating device via a communication interface in the electronic user device; and

storing the location determined by the positioning module in a data storage module, wherein the stored location is associated with a communication interaction with the aerosol-generating device,

wherein the location is stored based on a trigger, which may include one or more of: upon establishing a communication interaction with the aerosol-generating device or during the communication interaction; and after the communication interaction with the aerosol generating device is terminated.

12. A method of displaying a location associated with an aerosol-generating device on a user interface of an electronic user device, the method comprising:

retrieving from a data storage module a location determined by a positioning module, wherein the stored location is associated with a communication interaction with the aerosol-generating device; and

generating an instruction to display the location on a user interface.

13. A method of positioning an aerosol-generating device, the method comprising:

establishing a connection between an electronic user device and the aerosol generating device;

receiving instructions from a user interface for positioning the aerosol-generating device; and

providing an indication on the aerosol-generating device and/or an electronic user device for assisting a user in positioning the aerosol-generating device.

14. A system for positioning an aerosol-generating device, the system comprising:

an electronic user device; and

an aerosol generating device;

wherein the electronic user device and the aerosol-generating device have respective communication interfaces such that they can establish a communication interaction, and wherein, upon establishment of the communication interaction, an indication is provided on the aerosol-generating device and/or the electronic user device to assist a user in locating the aerosol-generating device.
