1. A switch protection box, comprising:

a fixed mounting portion including a back plate and a bottom plate, the bottom plate being connected with the back plate and the bottom plate including a first connection portion provided along an edge;

the detachable part comprises a top plate and at least one side plate, the top plate is connected with the at least one side plate, the bottom of the side plate comprises a second connecting part matched with the first connecting part, and the detachable part and the fixed mounting part can be connected through a movable connecting piece to form a box body.

2. The switch protection box of claim 1, wherein the removable section comprises a top panel and three side panels.

3. The switch protection box of claim 1, wherein said fixedly mounted portion further comprises a side plate connected to said back plate and said bottom plate, and said removable portion comprises a top plate and two side plates connected to two adjacent sides of the top plate, respectively.

4. The switch protection box of claim 2, wherein a sealing groove is provided near the upper edge and both side edges of the back plate, the sealing groove receiving a sealing member.

5. The switch protection box of claim 1, wherein the movable connection comprises a cooperating hook mounted on one of the fixedly mounted portion and the removable portion and a catch mounted on the other of the fixedly mounted portion and the removable portion.

6. The switch protection box according to claim 1 or 5, wherein the first connecting portion is one of a sliding groove or a projection, and the second connecting portion is the other of a sliding groove or a projection, and the sliding groove can receive the projection.

7. The switch protection box of claim 1, further comprising two stiffeners extending from two opposite sides of the back plate to the back of the box.

8. The switch protection box of claim 7, further comprising a mounting plate spanning between the two stiffeners and extending from the upper edge of the back plate to the back of the box.

9. The switch protection box of claim 1, wherein a handle is provided on a side plate of the removable section.

10. The switch protection box of claim 4, wherein the back plate is provided with a switch mounting seat, and the sealing element is a sealing strip.

Technical Field

The invention relates to the field of switch protection, in particular to a switch protection box.

Background

When the scheme of the braking system of the subway train is designed, the pressure switch is used for outputting an electric signal to control the related functions of the train when the system pressure reaches or is lower than a certain pressure. The pressure switch has enough protection level, but the shell of the pressure switch is generally made of reinforced plastics, and the problem that the pressure switch is damaged by flying stones in the running process of a train can be faced, so that the pressure switch is installed in a pressure switch box when the train is designed.

The pressure switch box is hung under the train underframe, and the pressure switch is protected by the pressure switch box. Because the pressure switch adopts the mode of going out the line from the top, and need operate pressure switch from the upper portion when carrying out vehicle debugging and maintenance, so very big space can satisfy the requirement to reserve on pressure switch case upper portion. The reserved large operation space not only increases the volume and the weight of the pressure switch box, but also is not beneficial to installation and piping, so that the design of the switch protection box which has a compact structure and is convenient to disassemble, assemble and maintain is very necessary.

Disclosure of Invention

In order to solve the problems, the invention provides a switch protection box. The switch protection box can effectively reduce the size and the weight of the box body, and the installation of the pressure switch connector, the adjustment of the action value and the checking of the nameplate are very convenient.

According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a switch protection box including:

a fixed mounting portion including a back plate and a bottom plate, the bottom plate being connected with the back plate and the bottom plate including a first connection portion provided along an edge;

the detachable part comprises a top plate and at least one side plate, the top plate is connected with the at least one side plate, the bottom of the side plate comprises a second connecting part matched with the first connecting part, and the detachable part and the fixed mounting part can be connected through a movable connecting piece to form a box body.

According to one embodiment of the invention, the removable part comprises a top panel and three side panels.

According to one embodiment of the invention, the fixedly mounted portion further comprises a side plate connected to the back plate and the bottom plate, and the removable portion comprises a top plate and two side plates connected to two adjacent sides of the top plate, respectively.

According to one embodiment of the invention, a sealing groove is provided near the upper edge and the two side edges of the back plate, and the sealing groove can accommodate a sealing element.

According to one embodiment of the invention, the movable connection includes a hook mounted on one of the fixed mounting portion and the removable portion and a buckle mounted on the other of the fixed mounting portion and the removable portion that cooperate with each other.

According to an embodiment of the present invention, the first connecting portion is one of a sliding groove or a projection, and the second connecting portion is the other of a sliding groove or a projection, and the sliding groove may receive the projection.

According to one embodiment of the invention, the switch protection box further comprises two reinforcements extending from two opposite side edges of the back plate to the back surface of the box body.

According to one embodiment of the invention, the switch protection box further comprises a mounting plate spanning between the two reinforcing members and extending from the upper edge of the back plate to the back of the box body.

According to one embodiment of the invention, the side panels of the removable section are provided with handles.

According to one embodiment of the invention, the back plate is provided with a switch mounting seat, and the sealing element is a sealing strip.

Due to the structure, the switch protection box can obtain the following beneficial effects:

(1) the top plate and part of the side plates can be detached from the fixed mounting part, so that the pressure switch and the plug can be conveniently mounted, the adjustment of a debugging and overhauling worker on the action value of the pressure switch is facilitated, and the nameplate of the pressure switch can be conveniently observed;

(2) because the top plate can be removed, even if too much space is not reserved at the top of the switch, the switch can be installed and maintained, the size of the pressure switch box is effectively reduced, the occupied space is saved, and the weight of the box body is reduced;

(3) the fixed mounting part and the detachable part are convenient to separate, and a special tool is not needed;

(4) the sliding groove structure can ensure that the two parts are accurately butted and completely sealed when being installed.

In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the present invention is described in further detail below with reference to specific embodiments. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the invention and are not intended to limit the invention.

As required, detailed embodiments of the present invention are disclosed in the present specification; however, it is to be understood that the disclosed embodiments are merely exemplary of the invention that may be embodied in various and alternative forms. The figures are not necessarily to scale; some features may be exaggerated or minimized to show details of particular components. The same or similar reference numerals may indicate the same parameters and components or similar modifications and substitutions thereto. In the following description, various operating parameters and components are described in various embodiments as contemplated. These specific parameters and components are used in this specification as examples only and are not meant to be limiting. Therefore, specific structural and functional details disclosed herein are not to be interpreted as limiting, but merely as a representative basis for teaching one skilled in the art to variously employ the present invention.

Fig. 1-4 illustrate a switch protection box according to one embodiment of the present invention. The switch protection box generally includes a fixedly mounted portion 100 and a removable portion 200. The fixed mounting portion 100 and the removable portion 200 are assembled together to form a fully enclosed protective enclosure.

As shown in fig. 1-4, in this embodiment, the fixed mounting portion 100 generally includes a back plate 110 and a base plate 120, the base plate 120 being fixedly coupled to the back plate 110.

A sealing groove 111 is provided in the vicinity of three free edges of the back plate 110 not connected to the base plate 120, and the sealing groove 111 is provided in the front surface of the back plate 110 with its notch opening in a direction perpendicular to the back plate and toward the detachable part 200. The sealing groove 111 may receive a seal, such as, but not limited to, a rubber sealing strip, which may be glued into the sealing groove. The thickness of the sealing rubber strip is larger than the depth of the sealing groove 111 so as to protrude out of the sealing groove 111, and the sealing of the switch protection box is realized under the compression action of the detachable part 200. However, it is contemplated that it is possible to provide sealing groove 111 on removable part 200 in accordance with the teachings of the present invention.

Two reinforcing rib plates 130 are arranged on the back surface of the back plate 110, and the reinforcing rib plates 130 oppositely extend from the vicinity of two vertical side edges of the back plate 110 towards the direction away from the switch protection box. However, the reinforcing member of the present invention is not limited to this shape, and may be reinforced using, for example, a reinforcing rib. A mounting plate 140 is arranged near the upper edge of the back plate 110 and bridged between the two reinforcing rib plates 130, and mounting holes are arranged on the mounting plate 140, so that the fixed mounting part 100 can be fixedly mounted on the train underframe through the mounting holes. It is contemplated that the mounting plate 140 may be integrally formed with the back plate 110 or may be implemented using the same bent plate. A mount 150 for mounting the pressure switch PS is provided on an inner surface of the back plate 110.

The outside of the edge of the back plate 110 is provided with a component of a movable connector, which in this embodiment adopts a combination structure of a hook 310 and a buckle 320. The hook 310 is mounted on the back plate 110 and the buckle 320 is mounted on the removable part 200. The hook 310 and the buckle 320 may be mounted to the back plate 110 or the side plate by welding. The hook 310 has a curved hook shape. The buckle 320 includes a snap ring having an open ring shape, a side 321 of the snap ring near the mounting position pivotally connected to the adjacent two side edges, and a press-fit portion (see fig. 2) mounted on the side 321 and pivoting with respect to the snap ring about the side 321 as a pivot axis. When the movable connecting piece is used, the buckle is sleeved in the hook 310, and the pressing part is pivoted to lock the buckle in place, so that the pressing effect on the sealing strip is realized. In order to increase the pressing force to enhance the sealing effect, springs are arranged on two sides of the retaining ring connected with the shaft 321, the springs are sleeved on the two sides, protruding pieces are arranged at two ends of the springs, and the protruding pieces close to one end of the shaft 321 are fixedly connected to the sides. When the buckle is inserted into the hook, the movable tab further from the axis 321 engages the hook 310 to pull the hook 310 toward the buckle 320, thereby providing a stronger pull and thus enhancing the sealing between the fixedly mounted part 100 and the removable part 200.

However, the present invention is not limited thereto, and the mounting positions of the hook 310 and the buckle 320 may be reversed. In this embodiment, two pairs of movable connectors are used on each of the left and right sides of the switch protection box, however, the number of movable connectors used may be determined according to the size of the box body and the required sealing performance. In addition to the hook and the hasp, the movable connecting piece of the invention can also use two mounting pieces with holes, bolts and other parts inserted into the holes of the mounting pieces, or other structures similar to the combination of a bolt and a bolt frame.

The sliding grooves 121 are disposed near three free edges of the bottom plate 120 not connected to the back plate 110, that is, the sliding grooves 121 are disposed on the upper surface of the bottom plate 120 and near the other three edges except the edge connected to the back plate 110. The slide slot 121 is adapted to mate with the tabs 221, 231, 241 of the removable part 200 to facilitate alignment and assembly of both the fixedly mounted part 100 and the removable part 200. As shown in fig. 1, the chute 121 is composed of a bottom plate 120, a vertical plate extending in the height direction from the bottom plate 120, and a horizontal flange extending from the vertical plate toward the periphery of the box body, and a gap between the bottom plate 120 and the horizontal flange forms a notch of the chute. During assembly, the projections 221 and 241 are aligned with and slid into the left and right chute notches, respectively, and when the entire length of the projections 221 and 241 are slid into the chutes, the projection 231 is inserted into the chute near the front edge of the bottom plate, whereby the projections 221, 231, 241, in combination with the chute 121, also effect a seal against the bottom of the cabinet. It is contemplated that the mounting locations of the chute 121 and the nubs 221, 231, 241 may be interchanged in accordance with the teachings of the present invention. The base plate 120 is provided with two through holes through which the lower portion of the pressure switch PS extends to the outside of the switch protection box to collect the pressure of the external air.

The removable part 200 generally includes a top panel 210 and three side panels 220, 230, 240, the top panel 210 being connected to the three side panels 220, 230, 240. The bottom of the side plate includes projections 221, 231, 241 that mate with the slide slot 121. Handles 250 are provided on the two opposing side panels 220 and 240 of the removable part 200 to facilitate access to the removable part 200.

Fig. 5 shows a schematic diagram of a switch protection box according to an embodiment of the present invention in a state of being used in cooperation with a pressure switch PS. The pressure switch PS is mounted on the mounting seat 150, and its lower portion extends outside the switch protection box. The mounting plate 140 is fixedly mounted to the train underframe using bolts. As shown in fig. 5, since the removable part 200 can be removed when the pressure switch is installed and maintained, a large space does not need to be reserved above the pressure switch PS, and the size and weight of the case can be significantly reduced.

Fig. 6 shows a schematic view of a switch protection box according to another embodiment of the invention. The switch protection box of this embodiment is substantially identical in structure to the switch protection box of fig. 1-5, with the main difference being that the fixed mounting portion 100 includes a back plate 110, a bottom plate 120 and one side plate 160, and the removable portion 200 includes a top plate 210 and two adjacent side plates 220 and 230. In this embodiment, the back plate 110 and the side plate 160 are provided with a sealing groove similar to the embodiment shown in fig. 1-5 where they are abutted against the removable part 200, and a sealing rubber strip can be provided in the sealing groove. The two free edges of the bottom plate 120 are provided with sliding grooves, when the bottom plate is assembled and combined with the detachable part 200, the convex block at the bottom of the side plate 220 of the detachable part 200 slides into the sliding groove at the left side of the bottom plate, when the convex block completely slides into the sliding groove, the convex block at the bottom of the side plate 230 is inserted into the sliding groove at the front edge of the bottom plate 120 to realize bottom sealing, and the sealing rubber strip realizes sealing of the box body under the compression action of the detachable part 200.

It is contemplated by the teachings of the present invention that the fixed mounting portion 100 may also include a back panel, a bottom panel, and two side panels, while the removable portion 200 correspondingly includes a top panel and one side panel, and that the number and location of the component panels included in the fixed mounting portion 100 and the removable portion 200 may be determined based on the number and location of the switches actually used and the mounting orientation of the switch portions to be viewed.

Instead of the rectangular parallelepiped switch protection case shown in the present invention, other switch protection cases may be used, such as, but not limited to, a hemispherical shell shape, a conical shape, etc., which are all included in the scope of the present disclosure.

When the switch protection box of the embodiment of the invention is used, the fixed mounting part 100 is mounted on the train underframe, the projection at the bottom of the detachable part 200 is aligned with the sliding groove of the bottom plate of the fixed mounting part 100, the projection slides into the sliding groove, the snap ring is sleeved into the hook, and the press fit part is pressed to realize the press fit of the detachable part 200 and the fixed mounting part 100. When the pressure switch PS needs to be maintained, the pressing portion is reversely released, the snap ring is released from the hook, and the detachable portion 200 is slid outward to the projection to be separated from the sliding groove, so that the fixed mounting portion 100 is separated from the detachable portion 200.

The switch protection box has the advantages that the top plate and part of the side plates can be detached from the fixed mounting part, so that the pressure switch and the plug can be conveniently mounted, the adjustment of a debugging and overhauling person on the action value of the pressure switch is facilitated, and the nameplate of the pressure switch can be conveniently observed. Because the roof can be removed, even if too much space has not been reserved at the top of switch, also can carry out the installation and the maintenance of switch, effectively reduced the size of pressure switch case, saved occupation space, reduced box weight. The fixed mounting part and the detachable part are convenient to separate, and a special tool is not needed. The sliding groove structure can ensure that the two parts are accurately butted and completely sealed when being installed.

It is to be understood that the features listed above for the different embodiments may be combined with each other to form further embodiments within the scope of the invention, where technically feasible. Furthermore, the particular examples and embodiments described herein are non-limiting, and various modifications of the structure, dimensions, and materials set forth above may be made without departing from the scope of the invention.
