1. An adjustable mounting assembly, the adjustable mounting assembly comprising:

a wall channel arranged to be fixedly connected to a wall, the wall channel having a base;

a conditioning channel arranged to fit at least partially within the wall channel; and

a connecting device arranged to adjustably connect the adjustment channel to the wall channel such that the adjustment channel is movable towards and away from the base of the wall channel,

wherein the connecting device comprises:

a securing block arranged to fit within the wall channel and between the wall channel and the adjustment channel, the securing block having a first hole therethrough, wherein the first hole is arranged to receive a wall securing member arranged through the base of the wall channel to secure the securing block to the wall channel; and

an adjustable securing member arranged through the adjustment channel and into the fixation block so as to secure the adjustment channel to the fixation block, a head of the adjustable securing member being located within the adjustment channel in use;

wherein movement of the adjustable securing member is arranged to provide movement of the adjustment channel towards and away from the base of the wall channel, and the adjustment channel is arranged to receive a profile strip to cover the adjustable securing member.

2. An adjustable mounting assembly according to claim 1 wherein the adjustable fixing member is or includes a screw and the movement of the adjustable fixing member is a rotation of the screw.

3. An adjustable mounting assembly as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2, wherein the adjustable fixing member is arranged to be oriented at least substantially perpendicular to the length of the adjustment channel in use.

4. An adjustable mounting assembly according to any preceding claim, wherein the connection means is arranged to connect the wall channel to the wall.

5. The adjustable mounting assembly of claim 4 wherein said wall securement member additionally connects said wall channel to said wall.

6. An adjustable mounting assembly according to any preceding claim wherein the profile strip also covers the wall securing member.

7. An adjustable mounting assembly as claimed in any preceding claim wherein the adjustable fixing member comprises a biasing member arranged to apply a force to the adjustment channel to hold the adjustment channel against the head of the adjustable fixing member.

8. An adjustable mounting assembly according to claim 7 when dependent on claim 2 wherein the biasing member is an adjustment spring arranged around the stem of the adjustable fixing member.

9. An adjustable mounting assembly according to any preceding claim further comprising the profile strip.

10. The adjustable mounting assembly of claim 9, wherein the profile strip is at least one of push-fit and magnetic.

11. An adjustable mounting assembly as claimed in any preceding claim wherein the fixing block has a second aperture spaced from the first aperture.

12. The adjustable mounting assembly of claim 11 wherein the second aperture is arranged to receive the adjustable securing member.

13. The adjustable mounting assembly of claim 12 wherein said second aperture is a blind aperture.

14. An adjustable mounting assembly according to claim 12 or claim 13 when dependent on claim 7 or claim 5 wherein the second aperture is wider proximate its opening so as to accommodate the biasing member in the region of its opening.

15. The adjustable mounting assembly of claim 14 wherein the width of the second bore is stepped from a wider portion to a narrower portion and wherein the biasing means is arranged to be retained within the wider portion by the width of the step.

16. An adjustable mounting assembly as claimed in any preceding claim wherein the fixing block is substantially L-shaped in cross-section.

17. An adjustable mounting assembly according to claim 11 or any claim dependent thereon wherein the second aperture is dimensioned such that at least a majority of the length of the adjustable securing member can be received within the second aperture.

18. The adjustable mounting assembly of claim 2 wherein the fixed block is wider adjacent the second aperture such that the rod of the adjustment screw can be received within the second aperture.

19. An adjustable mounting assembly as claimed in any preceding claim wherein the adjustment channel has a first aperture arranged to allow the wall securement member to pass therethrough and adapted to allow the wall securement member to be tightened therethrough.

20. The adjustable mounting assembly of claim 16 wherein the wall securing member is a wall screw and the first hole of the adjustment channel is wide enough for a head of the wall screw to pass through the first hole.

21. An adjustable mounting assembly as claimed in claim 19 or claim 20 wherein the adjustment channel has a second aperture arranged to allow the rod of the adjustable securing member to be inserted therethrough, the second aperture of the adjustment channel being too narrow for the head of the adjustable securing member to pass therethrough.

22. An adjustable mounting assembly according to any preceding claim wherein the adjustment channel comprises a closed channel parallel to an open channel and wherein the second aperture of the adjustment channel passes through a wall of the closed channel furthest from the open channel.

23. The adjustable mounting assembly of claim 22 wherein the adjustment channel includes a third aperture passing through a wall of the closed channel forming the base of the open channel and aligned with the second aperture.

24. An adjustable mounting assembly according to claim 23 wherein the third aperture is sufficiently wide for the head of the adjustable securing member and the biasing member (if present) to pass therethrough and adapted to allow the adjustable securing member to be adjusted therethrough.

25. An adjustable mounting assembly according to any one of claims 21 to 24 wherein the adjustment channel is shaped such that in use the head of the adjustable securing member is retained within the enclosed channel.

26. An adjustable mounting assembly according to any of claims 21 to 25 wherein the open channel is arranged to receive the profile strip in use.

27. A kit of parts of an adjustable mounting assembly, the kit of parts comprising:

a wall channel arranged to be fixedly connected to a wall, the wall channel having a base;

a conditioning channel arranged to fit at least partially within the wall channel; and

a connecting device arranged to adjustably connect the adjustment channel to the wall channel such that the adjustment channel is movable towards and away from the base of the wall channel,

wherein the connecting device comprises:

a securing block arranged to fit within the wall channel and between the wall channel and the adjustment channel;

a wall fixing member arranged through the base of the wall channel to fix the fixing block to the wall channel; and

an adjustable securing member arranged through the adjustment channel and into the fixation block so as to secure the adjustment channel to the fixation block, a head of the adjustable securing member being located within the adjustment channel in use;

wherein movement of the adjustable securing member is arranged to provide movement of the adjustment channel towards and away from the base of the wall channel, and the adjustment channel is arranged to receive a profile strip to cover the adjustable securing member.

28. The kit of parts of claim 27, wherein the wall securing member is a wall screw.

29. A kit of parts according to claim 27 or claim 28, wherein the wall securement member is arranged at least substantially perpendicular to the length of the wall channel in use.

30. A shower enclosure including an adjustable mounting assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 26.
