1. A resin composition comprising:

(a) a resin bead aggregate, wherein the resin bead aggregate has a pH of 8 or more, and wherein the resin bead aggregate has a volume average diameter of 150 μm to 2,000 μm; and

(b) an assembly of inorganic particles, wherein the inorganic particles comprise one or more alkaline earth metals, and wherein the assembly of inorganic particles has a volume average diameter of 0.5 μ ι η to 50 μ ι η.

2. The resin composition according to claim 1, wherein the resin bead aggregate has a volume average size of 150 μm to 500 μm.

3. The resin composition according to claim 1, wherein the resin bead aggregate has a uniformity coefficient of 1.3 or less.

4. The resin composition according to claim 1, wherein the aggregate of inorganic particles has a volume average diameter of 5 μm to 30 μm.

5. The resin composition according to claim 1, wherein a ratio of the number of the inorganic particles to the number of the resin beads is 0.1:1 to 2.5: 1.

6. The resin composition according to claim 1, wherein the bulk density of the resin composition is 825kg/m³Or smaller.

7. The resin composition of claim 1, wherein the alkaline earth metal comprises calcium.

8. A method of treating an aqueous composition, wherein the method comprises: passing the aqueous composition through an inlet into a vessel having an interior; and then allowing the aqueous composition to exit the container through an outlet, wherein the interior of the container comprises the resin composition of claim 1, wherein the composition of claim 1 is prevented from exiting the container.
