Cyhalofop-butyl is an aryloxy phenoxy propionic acid herbicide, can prevent and remove annual gramineous weeds, has special effect on moleplant seeds, and also has good effect and long lasting period on crab grass, goosegrass herb, green bristlegrass and the like. Cyhalofop-butyl is absorbed by stems, seedlings and leaves in postemergence stem and leaf treatment, is conducted to meristem to the apical and basal directions in plants, and inhibits acetyl coenzyme A carboxylase (ACCase) to stop fatty acid, so that cell division cannot be normally carried out, and a membrane system is damaged, thereby causing the distortion and shrinkage of tender leaves of weeds.

(3) The flazasulfuron and the cyhalofop-butyl are compounded, so that the weeding composition is good in weeding effect, safe to warm-season turfgrass, strong in gain effect, wide in weeding spectrum, capable of enhancing the control effect on broadleaf weeds, and faster and better in effect.

(4) Compared with the existing single preparation, the compound pesticide has improved effect in preventing and removing barnyard grass, and has synergistic effect when being compounded with two effective components.

(5) The flazasulfuron and the cyhalofop-butyl are compounded, and because the action mechanisms of the flazasulfuron and the cyhalofop-butyl are different, the flazasulfuron and the cyhalofop-butyl have no cross resistance, so that the use amount of pesticides is reduced, and the pollution to the environment is also reduced.
