Compared with the existing umbrella which cannot be folded, the three-folding umbrella has the advantages of small volume, convenience in carrying and storage and the like; the four-folding umbrella further reduces the volume of the whole umbrella relative to the three-folding umbrella, so that the convenience of carrying and carrying when the umbrella is out is further improved, any one of the supporting ribs of the umbrella ribs in the four-folding umbrella is formed by mutually hinging four rod bodies, one rod body is added to increase the sewing difficulty between the umbrella cloth and the supporting ribs, the processing cost is improved, the three-folding umbrella has the advantage of convenience in processing, but the folded volume of the three-folding umbrella cannot achieve the effect of the four-folding umbrella, and the convenience in use is directly influenced.

In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a technical solution of a sliding rod type umbrella cloth support rib, which comprises a first rib, a second rib, a third rib, a fourth rib, and a fifth rib, wherein the first rib, the second rib, and the third rib are sequentially hinged end to end, one end of the fourth rib is overlapped with the first rib and hinged at the overlapped part, one end of the fifth rib is hinged with the second rib, the other end of the fifth rib is hinged at the end of the fourth rib, and the fourth rib and the fifth rib are matched with the first rib and the second rib to form a stretchable or contractible quadrilateral structure;

Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following advantages:

according to the invention, the first bone rod, the second bone rod, the fourth bone rod and the fifth bone rod are matched to form a quadrilateral structure, a diagonal structure of the sixth bone rod is added in the quadrilateral structure, and when the quadrilateral structure is compressed, the sixth bone rod extends, so that the seventh bone rod and the third bone rod which are linked are pushed to realize the extension of the whole umbrella supporting bone; on the contrary, when the quadrilateral structure is expanded, the sixth rib rod is folded, so that the sixth rib rod and the third rib rod are driven to fold the whole umbrella supporting rib, and the length of the umbrella rib with the umbrella cloth supporting rib is effectively shortened after the umbrella rib is folded on the premise of ensuring the same effective umbrella surface using area;

therefore, the cloth supporting frame can be longest when being opened, but can be shortest when being folded and retracted, and the umbrella can be stored and used well.
