Background

According to the emission condition of greenhouse gases in China and related development plans formulated by various levels of governments in China, the utilization of biomass energy becomes one of the main ways of utilizing clean energy. Although biomass can realize zero emission of carbon dioxide, biomass has low energy density, low distribution density and high transportation cost, and the problems are mainly solved by developing formed particles at present. The formed particles are particles formed by pressing powdery materials into a certain shape under certain temperature and pressure conditions. However, because the biomass powder has low viscosity, large particles are not easy to form, the internal structure is loose, and the particles are fragile in the transportation and transfer processes.

On the other hand, a large amount of oil sludge is generated in the processes of oil development, production and processing. According to the national dangerous waste record, the oil sludge is classified as dangerous waste, and generally contains certain crude oil, benzene series and phenolic substances and has toxicity. At present, China mainly adopts direct landfill, solvent extraction, biodegradation or pyrolysis treatment on oil sludge. The direct landfill oil sludge occupies a large amount of cultivated land and pollutes soil, and the generated toxic and harmful substances can cause animal and human health to be threatened along with the enrichment effect of plants; the solvent extraction method can directly extract organic matters such as crude oil and the like in the oil sludge by utilizing a similar phase fusion principle, but the method has more complex general process and higher cost; the biodegradation method is to degrade hydrocarbon substances in oil sludge by using special microorganisms and finally convert the hydrocarbon substances into inorganic substances, and the method has good development prospect, but needs to find ideal microorganisms; the oil sludge pyrolysis treatment process consumes a large amount of energy, and the treatment process is complex and needs large-scale equipment such as a pyrolysis furnace and the like.

The oil sludge has stronger viscosity and can be used as a binder in biomass compression molding to realize low-energy-consumption molding of biomass powder; but also because of the strong viscosity, the oil sludge is not easy to be mixed with the biomass uniformly.
