1. A volumetric flow meter comprising:

a housing (10) adapted to be fitted in a duct (C; 51, 62, 63) and comprising a base body (11) and a cover body (13), the base body cooperating with the cover body to define a housing cavity (15), the housing cavity (15) being defined on opposite sides by a base plane (11C) formed in the base body (11) and a cover plane (13d) formed in the cover body (13), wherein an inlet channel (13e) is formed through the cover body (13), the inlet channel being in fluid communication with the housing cavity (15) and extending perpendicularly to the base plane (11C), and wherein an outlet channel (11e) is formed through a bottom (11d) of the base body (11), the outlet channel being in fluid communication with the housing cavity (15) and extending perpendicularly to the base plane (11C),

a pair of rotors (17, 18) around respective axes of rotation (x) perpendicular to the base plane (11c)A、xB) Rotatably mounted in said housing chamber (15),

at least one permanent magnet (19) arranged on one of the rotors (17), and

a magnetic sensor (20) adapted to detect a rotational movement of the permanent magnet (19),

wherein a fluid flow entering by the inlet channel (13e) and exiting by the outlet channel (11e) is able to rotate the rotor (17, 18) within the housing chamber (15), and

wherein the magnetic sensor (20) is configured to provide an electrical signal indicative of a volumetric flow rate of the fluid flow.

2. A volumetric flow meter according to claim 1, wherein the rotors (17, 18) are coupled to each other.

3. A volumetric flow meter according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the inlet passage (13e) and the outlet passage (11e) are arranged offset with respect to the central axis of the housing (10).

4. A volumetric flow meter according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the magnetic sensor (20) is mounted to the base body (11).

5. A volumetric flow meter according to any of claims 1-3, wherein the magnetic sensor (20) is adapted to be mounted to the conduit (C; 51, 62, 63).

6. A volumetric flow meter according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the cover (13) is snap-fitted to the base body (11).

7. A volumetric flow meter according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the housing (10) is free of gaskets between the base body (11) and the cover body (13).

A volumetric flow meter according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the containment chamber (15) has a four-lobed cross-sectional shape and comprises two opposite main lobes (15a, 15b) in which the rotors (17, 18) are respectively housed, and two opposite secondary lobes (15c, 15d) arranged perpendicularly to the main lobes (15a, 15b), the inlet passage (13e) and the outlet passage (11e) being respectively connected to the two opposite secondary lobes.

9. A volumetric flow meter according to any of the preceding claims, wherein a sealing lip (13C) is formed on the outer peripheral edge of the cover (13), extending radially and axially outwards and adapted to engage the inner surface of the conduit (C; 51, 62, 63).

10. A volumetric flow meter according to any of the preceding claims, wherein a shoulder surface (11b) is formed on the base body (11), said shoulder surface being adapted to engage a corresponding seat formed on the inner surface of the conduit (C; 51, 62, 63).

A fluid component (50; 60) comprising a conduit (C; 51, 62, 63) adapted to be crossed by a fluid flow along a main flow direction, in which conduit a volumetric flow meter according to any of the preceding claims is fitted, wherein the inlet channel (13e) and the outlet channel (11e) of the volumetric flow meter are arranged parallel to the direction of extension (z) of the conduit (C; 51, 62, 63) so that a fluid flow can pass through the inlet channel (13e) and the outlet channel (11e), respectively, along a direction parallel and coincident with the main flow direction in the conduit (C; 51, 62, 63).
