1. A hookah consumable cartridge, comprising:

a housing having an outer surface sized and shaped for operable insertion into a hookah apparatus;

a first chamber in the housing;

a first aerosol-generating substrate in the first chamber;

a second chamber in the housing, wherein the second chamber is adjacent to the first chamber;

a second aerosol-generating substrate in the second chamber, wherein the composition of the first and second aerosol-generating substrates is the same or different;

wherein the first chamber defines a first fresh air inlet and an opposing first aerosol outlet such that, in use, fresh air entering the first fresh air inlet carries generated aerosol through the first aerosol outlet;

wherein the second chamber defines a second fresh air inlet and an opposing second aerosol outlet such that, in use, fresh air entering the second fresh air inlet carries the generated aerosol through the second aerosol outlet; and is

Wherein the first chamber and the second chamber each independently have an aspect ratio of at least about 1.5:1, or at least about 2:1, or at least about 3: 1.

2. The hookah consumable cartridge of claim 1, further comprising one or more additional chambers in addition to said first chamber and said second chamber.

3. A hookah consumable cartridge according to claim 2, wherein at least one of said chambers is empty.

4. A hookah consumable cartridge according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein said chamber is formed from a thermally conductive material.

5. The hookah consumable cartridge of claim 4, wherein said thermally conductive material comprises aluminum.

6. A hookah consumable cartridge according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the cartridge is formed from a magnetically induced susceptor material.

7. The hookah consumable cartridge of claim 6, wherein said first chamber and said second chamber are cylindrical chambers.

8. A hookah consumable cartridge according to any one of claims 1-6, wherein said first and second chambers have a polygonal cross-sectional shape along a majority of the length of said first and second chambers.

9. The hookah consumable cartridge of claim 8, wherein said cross-sectional shape is hexagonal.

10. The hookah consumable cartridge of claim 9, wherein at least one sidewall of the first chamber is a sidewall of the second chamber.

11. The hookah consumable cartridge of claim 10, wherein said first chamber and said second chamber are part of a honeycomb cell array.

12. The hookah consumable cartridge of claim 11, wherein said array of chambers comprises at least 7 chambers.

13. A hookah assembly, comprising:

a container defining an interior configured to hold a volume of liquid, the container comprising a headspace outlet conduit;

an aerosol-generating element in fluid connection with the container, the aerosol-generating element comprising:

a cartridge receiver configured to receive a hookah consumable cartridge according to any one of the preceding claims;

a heating element in thermal contact with the hookah consumable cartridge; and

an aerosol outlet fluidly connected to the cartridge receiver and a fresh air inlet passage fluidly connected to the cartridge receiver.

14. A hookah assembly, comprising:

a container defining an interior configured to hold a volume of liquid, the container comprising a headspace outlet conduit;

an aerosol-generating element in fluid connection with the container, the aerosol-generating element comprising:

a cartridge receiver configured to receive a hookah consumable cartridge according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the material forming the first and second chambers comprises a magnetic susceptor material;

an induction heating element configured to heat the susceptor material when the cartridge is received in the receptacle; and

an aerosol outlet fluidly connected to the cartridge receiver and a fresh air inlet passage fluidly connected to the cartridge receiver.

15. A hookah assembly according to any one of claim 13 or claim 14, wherein said hookah apparatus is configured to control heating of said heating element such that said aerosol generating substrate in said hookah consumable cartridge is heated sufficiently to generate an aerosol during operation, but does not cause combustion of said aerosol generating substrate.
