An animal injection device of species, comprising:

an animal bait holder;

3. The animal injection device of claim 2, wherein the at least dart cartridges are gas-driven dart cartridges.

4. The animal injection device of claim 2, wherein the syringe dart contains a medication for an animal.

5. The animal injection device of claim 4, wherein the drug is a fertility control agent.

6. The animal injection device of claim 4, wherein the drug is a disease control agent.

7. The animal injection device of claim 4, further comprising a temperature control system for maintaining the medicament within a predetermined temperature range.

8. The animal injection device of claim 7, wherein the temperature control system comprises a Peltier system or or more gel packs.

9. The animal injection device of claim 2, wherein the injector dart comprises an RFID chip.

10. The animal injection device of claim 2, wherein the control system includes a cell phone modem and gateway router for sending images to a remote operator and sending and receiving data and commands.

11. The animal injection device of claim 1, wherein the animal bait holder is configured such that an animal accessing the animal bait holder exposes its chest to the th camera and the injection system and such that the bottom side of the animal is exposed to the second camera.

12. The animal injection device of claim 1, further comprising:

a second injection system disposed adjacent to the animal bait holder;

a third camera positioned to enable a remote operator to determine when a second animal has exposed its chest to the second injection system;

a fourth camera positioned to enable a remote operator to determine the gender of the second animal.

A method of injecting animals, the method comprising:

providing a bait station to attract an animal;

transmitting or more images showing the presence of an animal at the bait station and or more second images showing the underside of the animal to the remote operator, and

the injection is performed on the animal in accordance with the command of the remote operator.

14. The method of claim 13, wherein the step of injecting the animal comprises launching a syringe dart containing a medication from a dart cartridge.

15. The method of claim 14, further comprising the steps of: maintaining the temperature of the injection station within a predetermined range.

16. The method of claim 13, wherein the step of injecting the animal comprises: a syringe dart containing an RFID chip is launched from a dart barrel.

17. The method of claim 13, further comprising positioning a camera to capture the or more images and positioning a second camera to capture the or more second images.

18. The method of claim 13, wherein the transmitting step comprises:

connecting the th camera and the second camera to a handset modem and gateway router system, and

the and second images of the th and second cameras are sent to the remote operator via cell phone transmission.

19. The method of claim 13, wherein the or more second images enable the remote operator to determine the gender of the animal.

Technical Field

The present invention relates to a system for assisting in the control and vaccination of animals, and more particularly to an apparatus and method for administering drugs to wild or domestic animals such as mares or cattle and, if necessary, simultaneously injecting Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chips into the animals while administering the required vaccines.in instances, the number of mares causes significant damage to the pasture and themselves.

Disclosure of Invention

The present invention relates to a animal injection device comprising a bait holder, an injection system arranged adjacent to the bait holder, a third camera positioned to enable a remote operator to detect when an animal has exposed its chest to the injection system, a second camera positioned to enable the remote operator to determine the animal's gender, and a transmitter to transmit images from the cameras to the remote operator the injection system may comprise a control system and at least dart cartridges containing injector darts, the control system allowing the remote operator to trigger the dart cartridges to inject the animal with the injector darts.

The present invention also relates to a method for injecting an animal, the method comprising providing a bait station to attract the animal, transmitting or more th images and or more second images to a remote operator, the or more th images showing the presence of the animal at the bait station, the or more second images showing the bottom side of the animal, and injecting the animal in accordance with the operator's command, the step of injecting the animal preferably comprising launching a syringe dart containing a medication from a dart cartridge.
