The present invention provides an electric toothbrush and a method for controlling the same, which are described in detail below with reference to specific embodiments.

The electric toothbrush provided by the invention comprises a body, wherein the body is detachably connected with a brush head, a touch control component and a display component are generally arranged on the body, and a user can touch different touch control keys to select different parameters by holding the body in a hand in the process of using the electric toothbrush.

Further, the body specifically comprises a first touch key, a second touch key is arranged below the first touch key, a plurality of first display lamps are arranged below the second touch key, and a second display lamp is arranged below the first display lamps. The first touch control button adjusts the starting and stopping of the electric toothbrush and the tooth brushing strength grade, and the second touch control button adjusts the cleaning mode of the electric toothbrush and the tooth brushing time of the electric toothbrush. Further, the first touch key realizes the adjustment of the tooth brushing time by short pressing (0S-0.5S) to start, stop and long pressing (1S) (1m30S-2m-2m30S-3m-1m30S- …), and the tooth brushing time is adjusted once through a certain time interval a, so that the tooth brushing time selected by the long pressing is finished. The second touch key realizes tooth brushing mode selection and long-time (1S) cyclic control (first-level-second-level-fourth-level-first-level- …) tooth brushing force adjustment through short-time pressing (0S-0.5S), and the tooth brushing force of one-time intensity is sequentially adjusted through a certain time interval to finish the tooth brushing force selected by the long-time pressing.

Further, the user firstly selects a proper tooth brushing mode through short pressing of the second touch key, selects proper tooth brushing strength through long pressing of the second touch key, and selects proper tooth brushing time through long pressing of the first touch key, and any of the three processes are in an OR relationship and can be optionally omitted.

If the conduction time of the user pressing the first touch key is longer than or equal to 1 second, the tooth brushing strength is adjusted, the tooth brushing strength is output according to the continuous conduction time, and the first display lamp synchronously displays the strength adjusting information to start tooth brushing.

If the user touches the second touch key and the conduction time is less than or equal to 1/2 seconds, mode selection is controlled, and the first display lamp outputs mode selection information to start tooth brushing. If the user touches the second touch key for a conduction time longer than or equal to 1 second, the tooth brushing time is adjusted, and the first display lamp synchronously displays tooth brushing time information to start tooth brushing.

The electric toothbrush and the control method thereof of the invention have the following advantages: according to the electric toothbrush provided by the invention, the two touch keys and the plurality of display lamps are arranged on the body, and a user selects different parameters by touching different touch keys, so that different use requirements of the user are met.
