Photovoltaic devices that convert sunlight into electrical energy have evolved dramatically over the past few decades and are considered to be one of the most promising alternatives to traditional energy sources. Common thin-film solar cells (such as cadmium telluride, copper indium gallium selenide and perovskite solar cells) have the characteristics of light weight, thin thickness (several microns) and flexibility, and can be just used as umbrella covers of sunshade umbrellas to shade light and convert sunlight into electric energy for unmanned aerial vehicles to operate.
