Detailed Description

Numerous investigations into the use of prior art absorbent articles have been undertaken and found in the investigations: when a user changes the absorbent article, the excretion needs to be cleaned in most cases. At present, users usually need to prepare paper towels or other cleaning materials with liquid absorption capacity additionally for cleaning excretory private parts. If the cleaning material is not prepared, the inconvenience of the user is greatly increased. In addition, the cleaning material also needs to occupy space to some extent, which brings about a certain trouble to the user.

In view of the above findings, a novel technical solution is proposed herein, which not only can solve the above technical problems, but also is beneficial to environmental protection.

In order to make the technical solutions of the present invention better understood by those skilled in the art, the present invention will be further described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.

Referring to fig. 1 to 3, fig. 1 is a schematic structural view of an absorbent article in an unfolded state according to an embodiment of the present invention; FIG. 2 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a packaging unit in one embodiment of the invention; fig. 3 is a schematic view of the absorbent article of fig. 1 in a packaged state.

The invention provides an absorbent article comprising an absorbent article 2 and a packaging unit 1, wherein the packaging unit 1 is used for packaging the absorbent article 2. The absorbent article 2 may be a sanitary napkin, a baby diaper, a baby pull-up diaper, an adult care product, or the like. The technical solutions and effects will be further described by taking the absorbent article 2 as a sanitary napkin, but it should be understood by those skilled in the art that the absorbent article 2 provided herein is not limited to a sanitary napkin, and may be other products.

The absorbent article 2 has an absorbent layer for rapid absorption of liquid, which has a relatively high liquid-absorbing capacity and a relatively high liquid-holding capacity, and a leakage-proof bottom film. The leakproof bottom film serves to prevent the liquid in the absorbent layer from leaking out, and is generally a liquid-blocking material such as plastic. The absorbent article 2 may further comprise a surface layer on the upper surface of the absorbent layer, wherein the surface layer may be made of a nonwoven material with high lyophilic properties, such as a composite material of one or both of hot air and hydroentangling, and the penetration speed is generally high. The lyophilic properties of the facing layer are slightly inferior to those of the absorbent layer.

The packaging unit 1 according to the invention is provided with a surface which is formed at least in sections by an absorbent material having a predetermined liquid-absorbing capacity. That is, the entire surface of the packaging unit 1 may be formed of the absorbent material, or a partial surface thereof may be formed of the absorbent material, and the position of the formation may be appropriately selected depending on the specific product. It is preferred here that the surfaces of the packaging unit 1 which are not exposed to the environment when it is in the packaged state are provided with an absorbent material. That is, the surface of the liquid absorbent material is oriented towards the absorbent article 2 such that the surface of the liquid absorbent material is wrapped inside and not exposed outside when the absorbent article is in a packaged state.

The liquid-absorbing capacity of the absorbent material can be determined according to different products as long as the liquid-absorbing requirement can be met.

Compared with the PE film, at least part of the surface of the packaging unit 1 has liquid absorption capacity, so that a user can use the surface of the packaging unit 1 with liquid absorption capacity to clean private parts, hands or cleaning tools after taking the absorbent product 2 out of the packaging unit 1 without additionally preparing cleaning products such as paper towels and the like, and the packaging unit 1 is discarded after cleaning the private parts. Therefore, the use convenience of the user is greatly improved, and the resources can be saved. In addition, the packaging unit 1 has a new cleaning function on the premise of realizing the packaging function, is a brand-new breakthrough in the packaging field, and has important significance.

It is noted that absorbency as used herein refers to the mass of liquid absorbed per unit mass of absorbent layer, usually expressed as a percentage (referred to as the liquid uptake) within a standard time or the time required for complete wetting of the material. The liquid absorption rate can generally characterize the liquid absorption properties of a material.

Liquid retention refers to the amount of liquid retained per unit mass of material, expressed in terms of percentage (referred to as liquid retention) by acting on a fully wetted material under pressure for a certain period of time. Generally, the stronger the liquid absorption capacity of a material, the correspondingly stronger the liquid retention capacity. The liquid may be a simulated menstrual blood, but may be other liquids.

It is generally believed that the greater the liquid absorption rate and liquid retention rate, the better the lyophilic properties of the material.

The whole packaging unit 1 may be formed of an absorbent material, i.e. the packaging unit 1 is a unitary structure formed of an absorbent material in its entirety. The whole packaging unit 1 is made of an absorbing material, and the process is simple. Of course, the packaging unit 1 may also be partly formed of absorbent material, taking into account the fact that the absorbent article is sometimes subjected to a wet environment.

In a particular embodiment, the packaging unit 1 comprises a protective layer 11 and a layer of absorbent material 12, the absorption properties of the protective layer 11 being lower than a predetermined value for isolating the packaged absorbent article 2 from the outside environment, acting as a waterproof. The protective layer 11 is typically formed using a material with poor liquid absorption capacity, for example, the protective layer 11 may be a nonwoven fabric formed by one or several of gluing, melt blowing, spun bonding, hot air, hydroentangling processes, or an SMS nonwoven fabric; alternatively, the protective layer 11 is formed of a non-liquid-absorbent material, and the protective layer 11 is a waterproof plastic film, for example.

The absorbent material layer 12 is formed of an absorbent material, and the absorbent material layer 12 is positioned on the surface of the protective layer 11. It is generally preferred that when the packaging unit 1 and the absorbent articles 2 are in the packaged state, the absorbent material layer 12 is not exposed to the outside, the absorbent material layer 12 faces one side of the absorbent articles 2, and the protective layer 11 is located on the outside, so that when in the packaged state, the absorbent material layer 12 is wrapped on the inside, is not in contact with the external environment, and is kept clean.

The bonding between the absorbent material layer 12 and the protective layer 11 can be achieved in various ways, for example, an adhesive layer 13 is disposed between the absorbent material layer 12 and the protective layer 11, and the two are positioned by the adhesive layer 13. The absorbent material layer 12 and the protective layer 11 may also be bonded by means of a hot-melt process.

The absorbent material in the above embodiments may be a spunlace nonwoven or a viscose or a hydrophilic nonwoven or a pure cotton nonwoven. The non-woven fabric has good cleaning capability and reasonable price. On the premise of not increasing the cost of the existing absorbent product, the convenience of a user is improved.

The absorbent article provided by the invention is provided with the packaging unit 1, and the packaging unit 1 can cover the absorbent article 2.

The packaging unit 1 can be combined with the absorbent articles 2 in the following ways: the packaging unit 1 is combined with the absorbent product 2 through an adhesive layer and release paper; or the packaging unit 1 is joined to the absorbent article 2 by means of a layer of silicone oil.

As shown in fig. 2 and 3, an adhesive layer 3 is arranged on the packaging unit, and the packaging is sealed through the adhesive layer 3;

of course, the combination of the packaging unit 1 and the absorbent articles 2 can also refer to the combination of the absorbent articles 2 and the packaging film in the prior art, and the description is not limited herein.

Since the absorbent article 2 includes the packaging unit 1, the absorbent article 2 also has the technical effects of the packaging unit 1.

The above description describes the packaging unit and the absorbent article having the packaging unit in detail. The principles and embodiments of the present invention are explained herein using specific examples, which are presented only to assist in understanding the method and its core concepts. It should be noted that, for those skilled in the art, it is possible to make various improvements and modifications to the present invention without departing from the principle of the present invention, and those improvements and modifications also fall within the scope of the claims of the present invention.
