Technical Field

The invention belongs to the technical field of electric connectors, and particularly relates to a blind-mate self-locking connector.

Background

With the continuous development and upgrading of wireless communication services, especially the sudden rush in recent decades, coaxial electrical connectors are also continuously developed and upgraded. The coaxial electric connector gradually evolves from a threaded type, a buckling type and a blind plugging type, has practical application value, and is convenient to replace and maintain. At present, the fast-plug self-locking coaxial connector is widely applied at home and abroad, and the fast-plug self-locking coaxial connector is a contact type fast-plug self-locking and coaxial electric connector and is most widely applied by QMA; the other is a steel ball type quick-insertion self-locking and coaxial electric connector, and adopts a locking mode of a pneumatic connector and a liquid cooling connector. Compared with a contact type coaxial electric connector, the steel ball type quick-insertion self-locking and coaxial electric connector has obvious advantages in the aspects of tensile falling resistance and reliability.

However, the existing steel ball type quick-insertion self-locking and coaxial electric connector mainly uses the matching of steel balls, springs and grooves required by locking as the design basis; the quick-insertion self-locking device has the advantages that when the quick-insertion self-locking device is used, the locking sleeve needs to be displaced in the opposite direction of the insertion direction in advance, the locking sleeve is pushed to extrude a steel ball into the groove through the counterforce of the spring after insertion is completed, quick-insertion self-locking is completed, and the locking sleeve is directly pulled to complete separation during separation; in the position with highly concentrated installation space, the locking sleeve is difficult to move reversely, which is not beneficial to installation operation; the existing steel ball type quick-insertion self-locking and coaxial electric connector is large in size and cannot be applied to places with narrow spaces. The connector mode similar to the threaded type and the buckling type single-way plugging can be realized only, and the way alignment and the plugging self-locking can not be realized simultaneously.

The existing multi-path blind-inspection connector mainly comprises two types: floating connectors (BMA, SBMA) and rigid connectors (SMP, SSMP), both of which require auxiliary fixation after multi-way mating, for example, generally require screw fixation after mating, increasing the assembly process; when the number of the insertion paths is too large, an auxiliary tool is needed for insertion and separation, the cost of early installation and later maintenance is high, and the process is complicated; and because of its fixed position limitation under the harsh vibration environment; the unpredictable circuit connection failure caused by the uncontrollable factors such as excessive relative displacement or material deformation can occur at individual positions.

The invention aims to provide a blind-mate self-locking connector to solve the problems in the prior art.

The invention has the following beneficial effects:

1. according to the blind-mate self-locking connector, on the basis of ensuring high connection reliability and electric performance, the directions of insertion, separation and operation of the coaxial electric connector are completely consistent in the process of plugging, so that the defect of difficult operation in high-density installation is effectively overcome; meanwhile, a steel ball self-locking mode is adopted, so that the connector is smaller in size and can adapt to wide operating environments compared with the existing connector;

2. the blind-mate self-locking connector has the functions of single-way locking and multi-way blind-mate locking, and does not need tools for plugging and separating; auxiliary fixing is not needed after self-locking, and the single-path separating force is larger than 1000N, so that the problem of instantaneous interruption of an electric signal caused by the influence of vibration impact environment after multi-path blind detection is solved;

3. the sealing ring and the sealing sleeve arranged in the blind-mate self-locking connector ensure that the plug and the socket can safely, reliably and effectively complete the electric signal transmission function in any severe use environment (such as a seawater environment, an environment influenced by artificial or natural aggressive substances, an underwater environment and the like).

the plug comprises a plug shell 5, and a sealing sleeve 8 is sleeved outside the plug shell 5; the right end of the plug shell 5 is provided with a first stepped hole 51, and the steel ball 9 is placed in the first stepped hole 51; the plug insulator 6 is fixed in the plug outer shell 5, the plug inner conductor 1 is fixed in the plug insulator 6, and the contact 2 is fixed in the plug outer shell 5 and connected with the plug inner conductor 1 in parallel;

the socket comprises a socket inner conductor 11, a socket insulator 12 is sleeved outside the socket inner conductor 11, a socket shell 13 is sleeved outside the socket insulator 12, and a socket groove 131 is formed in the middle of the outer wall of the socket shell 13. As shown in fig. 7 and 8, an elastic element 17 is arranged below the steel ball 9, and an included angle between the left side wall of the socket groove 131 and the horizontal direction is 122.5 to 127.5 degrees, and the inclined groove is formed.

The tail part of the plug shell 5 is provided with a plurality of bulges to prevent liquid from flowing into the tail part of the plug; after the sealing sleeve 8 is inserted, the plug part is effectively isolated from the external environment; the first sealing ring 7 is attached to the socket shell 13 after the insertion, so that the front end is sealed; the plug inner conductor 1, the plug insulator 6 and the contact 2 realize the transmission of high-frequency signals after the plugging is finished; the front part of the right end of the plug shell 5 is provided with a plurality of step holes vertical to the axial line, and the steel balls 9 are placed in the first step holes 51 of the plug shell 5; the locking sleeve 3 is assembled with the plug shell 5 through a sliding ring 10 with certain radial elasticity; a plurality of grooves are arranged at the joint of the locking sleeve 3 and the sealing sleeve 8, and the locking sleeve and the sealing sleeve are tightly matched together; the left end tail part of the locking sleeve 3 is provided with a slip ring limiting groove 32, and the radial elasticity of the slip ring 10 can realize the front and back sliding only by overcoming a certain friction force; a knurled section and a second sealing ring 14 are arranged on the socket inner conductor 11, and the socket inner conductor 11 is assembled with the socket insulator 12 in an interference fit manner and is sealed; a third sealing ring 15 is arranged on the socket insulator 12 and assembled with the socket shell 13 to realize sealing; the socket housing 13 is provided with a socket recess 131 for locking.

The plugging principle of the blind-plugging self-locking connector is as follows:

as shown in fig. 3, during the insertion, the sealing sleeve 8 is pushed, after the contact 2 and the plug inner conductor 1 of the plug part are completely contacted with the socket inner conductor 11 and the socket housing 13 of the socket part, forward thrust is continuously applied to enable the slip ring 10 to roll in the slip ring limiting groove 32 by overcoming friction force, the sealing sleeve 8 drives the locking sleeve 3 to continuously move forward to push the steel ball 9 to move into the socket groove 131 formed in the socket housing 13 to complete locking, and the sealing sleeve 8 is tightly attached to the socket housing 13 through the first sealing ring 7 to complete integral sealing; the sealing sleeve 8 is pulled to enable the locking sleeve 3 to move backwards and the steel ball 9 falls back into the plug groove 31 of the locking sleeve 3, so that separation is completed.

The invention discloses a multi-path blind plugging principle of a blind plugging type self-locking connector, which comprises the following steps:

as shown in fig. 8, a multi-way opposite-insertion flange 16 is added on the sealing sleeve 8, and blind checking and self-locking during multi-way simultaneous opposite-insertion are realized by pushing or pulling. The insertion and separation mechanism of the multi-path electric connector is the same as that of a single path.
