Background

The plugging agent for drilling fluid is a drilling fluid treating agent which is used for plugging formation pores and cracks and preventing drilling fluid and filtrate thereof from invading the formation so as to keep the well wall stable. In drilling, the plugging agent is reasonably used to prevent well wall collapse, prevent leakage and protect oil layer.

The plugging type anti-collapse agent widely used at present is mainly an asphalt product, the application of which greatly improves the anti-collapse capability of the drilling fluid, but the plugging type anti-collapse agent still has defects in practical application, such as limitation of a softening point, and easy influence of temperature in deep wells and ultra-deep wells so as to reduce the plugging effect.

Aiming at the defects of the existing plugging agent, the invention develops a gel plugging agent with stronger plugging capability.
