Background

The escalator is a common transportation tool in urban buildings, and when escalator steps on the market are produced, a rectangular tread treaded by passengers is usually required, namely three edges are reserved on the face facing upwards for installing detachable step side strips, and the risk that the whole step needs to be replaced due to the fact that tooth grooves of the step are damaged is reduced in a detachable mode. Since the escalator is an electromechanical device, there are moving parts and fixed parts, so that there is a gap between the moving step side bars and the fixed two-sided skirt panels during operation, according to TSG 7005-2012: the skirt panels of the escalator or moving sidewalk should be disposed at both sides of the steps, steps or tapes, the horizontal gap at any one side should be not more than 4mm, and the sum of the gaps at symmetrical positions of both sides should be not more than 7 mm.

However, even if the gap is 4mm, the hand, the foot and the shoes made of soft materials of the young children are still easy to get into the gap, and the strong friction force of the escalator can clamp the limbs more and more tightly, thereby causing personal injury accidents; in order to prevent people from being injured by a gap of 4mm, the country particularly requires that a brush is arranged above the apron plate of the escalator to prevent clothes, fingers, shoes and the like from being clamped; however, in reality, many children will be interested in the brush, and the shoe body is close to the brush to be used as a 'shoe polishing tool', so the gap of 4mm is still easy to hurt passengers; in order to avoid accidents, an escalator is available on the market, and a side strip is additionally arranged between a skirt panel and a step, but the shape of the side strip is fixed, when the skirt panel is uneven or the width of the gap is unequal, the gap still appears and cannot be adjusted according to actual conditions, so that the gap between the skirt panel and the step cannot be completely filled.

Disclosure of Invention

The present invention is directed to solve one of the above mentioned technical problems, and provides a step side strip and an escalator, which can fill the gap between the step and the skirt panel, and further fill the gap between the step and the skirt panel by adjusting the width of the side strip according to the state of the skirt panel.

The invention is realized by the following technical scheme:

the invention provides a step side strip, which comprises a side strip main body and at least one group of expansion devices connected with the side strip main body; each group of telescopic devices comprises telescopic elements and side edges; one side of the side strip main body is connected with the escalator steps, the other side of the side strip main body is connected with the side edge through the telescopic element, and the side strip main body and the side edge are spaced at a certain distance.

The beneficial effects are that: according to the telescopic side strip of the escalator step, the telescopic device is connected to the side strip main body, so that the width of the side strip can be adjusted according to the width of a gap between the step and the skirt guard panel, and the effect of filling the gap is achieved.

As a further improvement of the above scheme, each group of telescoping devices further comprises a buffer mechanism, and the buffer mechanism is arranged on one side of the side edge close to the skirt panel of the escalator; the buffer mechanism reduces the friction force between the side strips and the skirt panel, further reduces the abrasion of the side strips and prolongs the service life of the side strips.

As a further improvement of the above scheme, the side edge strip main body and the side edge surface are both provided with protruding racks; the arrangement of the rack ensures that the whole appearance structure of the side strips is consistent with the stair, and simultaneously, the friction force between the sole of a passenger and the tread of the stair is increased, so that the passenger is not easy to slip.

As a further improvement of the above scheme, one side of the side bar main body, which is located on the side edge, is provided with a convex strip extending outwards, the convex strip is provided with a mounting hole, one end of the telescopic element is arranged in the mounting hole, and the other end of the telescopic element is connected with the side edge; the arrangement of the convex strips and the mounting holes reduces the assembly difficulty of the side strip main body and the side edge.

As a further improvement of the above scheme, a covering strip is arranged on the side edge above the telescopic element, and an expansion joint is arranged between the covering strip and the side edge strip main body; when a plurality of telescopic elements are provided, the covering strip may cover the gap between the telescopic elements.

As a further improvement of the scheme, the telescopic element is a compression spring, the compression spring is low in cost and easy to obtain, and the manufacturing cost of the side edge strip is reduced by adopting the compression spring.

As a further improvement of the scheme, the buffer mechanism is made of felt materials, and the felt materials are good in adhesion and high in abrasion resistance.

The invention provides an escalator which comprises steps, skirt panels arranged on two sides of the steps and side strips, wherein the side strips are arranged between the steps and the skirt panels, the skirt panels are provided with protruding structures at the ascending and descending openings of the escalator, and the protruding structures are abutted against the side strips close to the ascending and descending openings of the escalator.

The beneficial effects are that: according to the escalator, the protruding structures are arranged at the skirt panel at the exit of the escalator, so that the telescopic side strips smoothly enter the comb plate at the exit of the escalator, and the normal operation of the escalator is ensured.
