The Chinese patent with the application number of CN103008256B discloses an automatic detector for the outer diameter of a glass tube, which comprises a rack, wherein a feeding system, a detection system, a sorting system, a discharging system and a control system are arranged on the rack, and the feeding system is used for conveying the glass tube to the detection system and the sorting system; the detection system is used for automatically detecting the outer diameter size and storing the result; the sorting system is used for sorting according to the set nominal size tolerance of the outer diameter of the glass tube and the detection result thereof, the qualified glass tube is continuously conveyed to the discharging system, and the unqualified glass tube is shot and sorted into an unqualified material box; the discharging system is used for conveying the qualified glass tubes into the qualified product material box.

The machine can only measure the outer diameter of the glass tube, and the machine cannot be applied to the glass tube with the requirement on the inner diameter, so the application range is narrow.
