Technical Field

The present invention relates to the field of electrophotographic image formation, and particularly to a toner container and an image forming apparatus.

Background

Patent document No. CN107479351A discloses a toner container, in which a grip 101 of the toner container 10 is disposed between a powder hopper 102 and a waste powder hopper 103, and has at least one recess 1011, and the at least one recess 1011 is formed on a side portion of the container body 105 perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, on one side in the width direction of the container body 105, see fig. 1.

When the toner container 10 is in the image forming apparatus 100, the transmission member in the image forming apparatus 100 rotates in cooperation with the driving portion 104 on the toner container 10, and further drives the stirring frame and the screw inside the powder hopper 102 of the toner container 10 to rotate, so that the toner in the powder hopper 102 is discharged from the powder outlet position. While the powder inlet of the waste powder bin 103 receives waste toner output from the inside of the image forming apparatus 100.

Since the above structure is such that the grip portion 101 is provided between the powder hopper 102 and the waste powder hopper 103 and the positioning portions are provided on both side surfaces of the powder hopper 102, when the toner container 10 is mounted or taken out from the image forming apparatus 100, the center of gravity of the toner container 10 is unstable and it is extremely difficult to mount, resulting in a jam in the mounting position of the image forming apparatus 100. Meanwhile, when the toner container 10 is taken out, the positioning parts are all positioned at the upper position of the center of the toner container 10, so that the toner container is easy to be jammed and cannot be taken out.

Disclosure of Invention

A first object of the present invention is to provide a toner container that can be smoothly mounted and removed.

A second object of the present invention is to provide an image forming apparatus having the above toner container.

To achieve the first object described above, the present invention provides a toner container including a container main body, and a powder hopper and a waste powder hopper arranged along a length direction of the container main body. A first holding part is arranged on the first side wall of the container main body and is positioned in the middle of the first side wall.

Preferably, the first end of the container body is provided with a second grip portion in the longitudinal direction of the container body.

In a further aspect, the second grip portion is recessed from the first end of the container body toward a side close to the second end of the container body.

Still further, a positioning part is arranged on a third side wall of the container main body, and the third side wall is perpendicular to the first side wall. The positioning part is positioned between the first holding part and the second holding part in the length direction of the container main body.

One preferred scheme is that the first holding part is arranged on the waste powder bin, and the positioning part and the second holding part are both arranged on the powder bin.

Preferably, the first grip portion and the second grip portion overlap each other in a projection along a longitudinal direction of the container body.

Preferably, the first grip portion is recessed from the first side wall toward the inside of the container main body in the thickness direction of the container main body.

In a further scheme, in the length direction of the container main body, a second side wall of the first holding part, which is close to one side of the powder bin, is provided with an anti-slip part, and the anti-slip part protrudes outwards from the second side wall.

In a preferred scheme, the first holding part is positioned on one side of the waste powder bin close to the powder bin.

In order to achieve the second object, the present invention provides an image forming apparatus including a main body in which a cartridge magazine for loading and unloading the toner container is provided.

The invention has the advantages that the user can hold the toner container along the length direction of the toner container, and the positioning parts are positioned on the two side walls in the width direction of the powder bin, so when the toner container is installed, the user can better act on the positioning parts when applying acting force to the toner container, the toner container is convenient to install into the imaging equipment, and the toner container is convenient to take out from the imaging equipment. Meanwhile, the toner container is reliably connected with the imaging device, and the phenomenon of jamming in the mounting and taking-out processes is avoided.

Detailed Description

The image forming apparatus of the present embodiment includes a main body in which a cartridge magazine for placing and taking out a toner container is provided.

Referring to fig. 2 to 5, the toner container includes a container body 1, and a powder bin 2 and a waste powder bin 3 arranged along a length direction l of the container body 1. In the actual use process, the powder bin 2 is positioned above the waste powder bin 3, and the powder bin 2 and the waste powder bin 3 are arranged along the vertical direction.

A stirring frame 21 and a screw (not shown) are provided in the powder hopper 2, the stirring frame 21 and the screw both extend along the thickness direction h of the container body 1, a stirring frame gear 22 is provided at an end portion of the stirring frame 21, a screw gear 23 is provided at an end portion of the screw, the stirring frame gear 22 and the screw gear 23 are both rotatably supported on the side wall 11 of the container body 1, and are used for transmitting the driving force of the driving head of the image forming apparatus to the stirring frame 21 and the screw, and the screw is used for conveying the toner in the powder hopper 2 to the developing unit of the image forming apparatus through the toner outlet 24. The waste toner hopper 3 is provided with a toner inlet 31, and the toner inlet 31 is used for receiving waste toner output from the inside of the image forming apparatus. The powder outlet 24 and the powder inlet 31 are both located in the middle of the container body 1 in the length direction l.

The side wall 11 of the container body 1 is further provided with a first holding portion 4, and the first holding portion 4 is located in the middle of the side wall 11, that is, the first holding portion 4 is located in the middle of the width direction w of the container body 1, and is located in the middle of the length direction l of the container body 1, that is, the first holding portion 4 is located at the center position or near the center position of the side wall 11.

The first grip portion 4 is located on the waste powder bin 3 side close to the powder bin 2, and the first grip portion 4 is recessed from the side wall 11 toward the inside of the waste powder bin 3 along the thickness direction h of the container body 1. The width of the first holding part 4 is smaller than that of the container body 1, the length of the first holding part 4 is smaller than that of the container body 1, and the depth of the first holding part 4 is smaller than that of the container body 1.

As shown in fig. 5, the side wall 41 of the first grip 4 near the powder hopper 2 in the longitudinal direction l of the container body 1 is provided with a slip-preventing portion 42, the slip-preventing portion 42 protrudes outward from the side wall 41, and the slip-preventing portion 42 is provided to facilitate the grip of the user and prevent the toner container from slipping off the user's hand.

In the longitudinal direction l of the container body 1, the first end 14 of the container body 1 is provided with a second grip portion 5, the second grip portion 5 is recessed from the first end 14 of the container body 1 to a side close to the second end 15 of the container body 1, the second grip portion 5 is also located on the side wall 11, and the projections of the first grip portion 4 and the second grip portion 5 along the longitudinal direction l of the container body 1 are overlapped.

The container body 1 is provided with a positioning portion 12 on a side wall 13, and the side wall 13 is provided perpendicularly to the side wall 11. The positioning portion 12 is located between the first grip portion 4 and the second grip portion 5 in the longitudinal direction l of the container body 1. The first holding part 4 is arranged on the waste powder bin 3, and the positioning part 12 and the second holding part 5 are both arranged on the powder bin 2. The positioning portion 12 is used to position the toner container when the toner container is attached to the image forming apparatus.

The top wall 16 of the container body 1 is provided with a powder filling port 161 communicated with the powder bin 2, and the powder filling port 161 is provided with a powder filling port cover 162 for filling the powder bin 2 with toner.

When the toner container is mounted in the image forming apparatus, the thumb holds the first holding portion 4, the index finger holds the second holding portion 5, and then the toner container is mounted in the image forming apparatus along the thickness direction h of the container body 1, so that the toner container can be held more stably, shaking of the toner container is avoided, the positioning portion 12 easily falls into the falling position of the image forming apparatus, and positioning of the toner container is achieved.

When the toner container is taken out from the image forming apparatus after the toner in the toner hopper 2 is printed, the first grip 4 is held by the thumb, the second grip 5 is held by the index finger, and then the toner container is taken out from the image forming apparatus in the thickness direction h of the container body 1.

Since the holding position is provided on the upper portion of the whole toner container and the positioning portions are provided on both side walls of the upper powder hopper, the user can better act on the positioning portions when applying force to the toner container when mounting the toner container, facilitating the toner container to be mounted in the image forming apparatus and facilitating the toner container to be taken out of the image forming apparatus. Meanwhile, the toner container is reliably connected with the imaging device, and the phenomenon of jamming in the mounting and taking-out processes is avoided.
