The use of the micro powder promotes the development of refractory materials, particularly the use of the aluminum oxide micro powder and the silicon dioxide micro powder in casting materials, so that the water content of a casting forming body is reduced, the compactness is improved, the particles of the silicon dioxide micro powder are spherical, the spherical particles have smaller specific surface area and larger stacking density, the isotropy of the spherical particles is good, the stress strain is uniform, the friction coefficient of the spherical particles is small, when the particles are added into a refractory material matrix, the fluidity and the filling property are good, and the moisture can be effectively released, however, the melting point of the silicon dioxide micro powder is low, impurities are easily introduced to react with other components in the matrix at high temperature to form a low-melting-point phase, the high-temperature service performance of the material is reduced, the service life is lower, the aluminum oxide micro powder has the characteristics of high melting point and good high-temperature stability, but the micro appearance, therefore, the problems of poor product compactness and poor fluidity exist, and the application of the spherical alumina micropowder in the refractory castable is urgently needed to be designed and applied to the refractory castable.

The invention aims to solve the defects in the prior art, such as: the existing refractory castable containing silica micropowder has poor high-temperature service performance, short service life, and poor compactness and flowability of the refractory castable containing alumina micropowder.

Preferably, the particle size of the spherical alumina micro powder is 2-120 microns.

Compared with the prior art, the invention has the beneficial effects that:

1. the spherical alumina micropowder improves the fluidity of the product, or reduces the water adding amount under the same flow value, so that the castable has great advantages in application;

2. the addition of the spherical alumina micropowder in the invention enables the product to be more compact, and the compactness is higher under the same formula, so that the castable has longer service life when being applied;

3. the spherical alumina micropowder in the invention contributes to the improvement of the strength at medium and high temperature, and the trend of linear change is also reduced. Under the use condition of high temperature, the service life of the product can be greatly prolonged;

4. the invention widens the application field of the spherical alumina, makes up for certain defects and shortcomings in the performance of the castable, and greatly improves the application performance of the castable product.
