Technical Field

Background

In recent years, with the vigorous development of the electronic information industry and the raw material industry thereof, flexible and foldable mobile phones and other flexible electronic devices become the key point of research and development in the industry. This requires that the cover glass can be folded, the thickness of the glass must be reduced to less than 100 μm, and the glass becomes flexible glass with good flexibility, and such thin flexible glass is hard to withstand external impact, is fragile and easy to splash, and therefore, must be effectively protected.

The existing protection method is to coat a layer of hardened coating on the surface of flexible glass to obtain a hardened film of the flexible glass, and the thickness of the hardened coating is generally required to be more than 20-35 mu m in order to achieve the effects of protection and splash prevention. However, the UV-hardening coating generally used for mobile phone screen protection is difficult to adhere to glass, and the larger the coating thickness is, the more easily the UV-hardening coating is cracked, so that the UV-hardening coating cannot be better applied to flexible glass. The traditional thermosetting coating has the problems of long curing time, energy waste and the like. Therefore, there is a need to develop a pre-coating liquid that improves the adhesion between the flexible glass and the UV-hardening coating so that the UV-hardening coating can be better applied to the protection and splash prevention of the flexible glass.

Disclosure of Invention

The invention discloses a precoating liquid for enhancing the surface adhesion of a flexible glass substrate and an application method thereof, aiming at solving the problem that the adhesion of a UV hardened layer on the surface of the flexible glass substrate is poor.

The invention has the following beneficial effects:

(1) the polyhydroxy polymer and the inorganic sol added in the precoating liquid disclosed by the invention both contain a large amount of hydroxyl groups, so that a firm hydrogen bond can be formed between the polyhydroxy polymer and the inorganic sol, and after the polyhydroxy polymer and the inorganic sol are cured, a certain amount of hydroxyl groups can still be reserved on the surface of the precoating layer, so that the adhesion between the precoating layer and the UV hardened layer can be increased, the binding force between the UV hardened layer and the flexible glass substrate is improved, the comprehensive formation of a flexible glass hardened film is effectively improved, and the service life is prolonged;

(2) the added silane coupling agent can be bonded with sol particles in the inorganic sol after hydrolysis, on one hand, a larger structure is obtained after bonding, larger steric hindrance can be generated, and the sol particles are favorably dispersed, on the other hand, the bonded structure not only contains polar hydroxyl groups and other groups, but also contains nonpolar hydrocarbon groups and other groups, so that the sol particles can be well dispersed in ethanol, water or an alcohol-water mixture, the sol particles are uniformly distributed in the pre-coating solution, the uniformity of the pre-coating solution is improved, and the adhesive force between the pre-coating layer and the base material layer and between the pre-coating layer and the UV hardened layer is further improved;

(3) the pre-coating layer is added between the flexible glass substrate and the UV hardening layer, so that the thickness of the UV hardening layer can be reduced on the premise of ensuring the thickness of the total coating (the pre-coating layer and the UV hardening layer), the problem that the UV hardening layer is too thick and easy to crack can be effectively avoided, and the effects of protection and splashing prevention can be achieved;

The precoating liquid for enhancing the surface adhesion of the flexible glass substrate is prepared by the following method: weighing the components in proportion, adding the polyhydroxy polymer, the silane coupling agent and the inorganic sol into a solvent, heating to 40-90 ℃, and uniformly stirring to obtain the pre-coating liquid.

Wherein the particle size of the inorganic sol is 2-50 nm.

The application method of the pre-coating liquid for enhancing the surface adhesion of the flexible glass substrate comprises the following steps:

(1) uniformly coating the pre-coating liquid on flexible glass, and performing heat curing to obtain a pre-coating layer;

(2) and uniformly coating a layer of UV hardening liquid on the surface of the precoating layer, curing to obtain a UV hardening layer, and attaching a protective film after the UV hardening layer is cooled.
