Background

The existing ball-point pen is a writing tool which uses dry and thick ink and is transferred to paper by means of the steel ball which is freely rotated on the pen point, and has the advantages of simple structure, convenient carrying, writing lubrication, suitability for duplicating and the like. A ball-point pen is a pen using a minute rotary ball made of brass, steel or tungsten carbide, which releases ink onto paper when writing. Ball-point pens differ greatly from their predecessors- -reed pens, feather pens, metal-tipped pens and fountain pens. The pigment of the ball-point pen ink is a dye. The ink color mainly comprises blue, red and black, wherein the blue ink is most used. In the past, pigment components in blue ink were basic royal blue and basic blue lotus, and solvents were castor oil oxide and ricinoleic acid. Because the basic dye is not light-resistant (the light resistance is only 1 grade-2 grade), is not heat-resistant and does not resist acid and alkali, the durability is poor, and the basic dye is eliminated at present.

Most of existing ball-point pens only have a writing function, so that the ball-point pens are single in function, and the ball-point pens are required to be provided with pen sleeves to protect pen points. When some engineering personnel use, can only take notes some things, when dismantling some screws, still need be equipped with dedicated screwdriver, when measuring the size, still need carry the ruler, the instrument that needs to carry is more, leads to carrying inconvenience.
