Technical Field

The present invention relates to a card holder capable of holding a card.

Background

Conventionally, an ID card holder of a type in which a surface of an ID card is exposed is known (for example, see non-patent document 1).

However, since the front surface side of the ID card is always exposed in the conventional card holder, the front surface of the ID card may be damaged.

In addition, the conventional ID card holder has no structure in which the back surface side can be covered. However, in order to improve convenience in offices, a need to cover the back surface side of the ID card holder is also emerging.

The above is not limited to the ID card holder that holds the ID card, and the same applies to the card holder that can hold other cards.

Detailed Description

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to fig. 1 to 13.

This embodiment applies the present invention to an ID card holder (hereinafter, simply referred to as "card holder H") capable of holding an ID card (hereinafter, simply referred to as "card C").

The card holder H includes: a card holder body a provided with a holding portion G capable of holding a card C; and a cover B that can cover the front and back surfaces of the card holder body a so as to be able to engage and disengage. In this embodiment, the cover B is formed separately from the card holder body a, and is configured to be capable of being connected by being locked to the card holder body a, while being capable of being released from the locked state with the card holder body a and being detached from the card holder body a.

The card C (ID card) of this embodiment is a card having a size of "ID-1" in accordance with the international standard "ISO/IEC 7810", and is a card having a size widely used as a card size of an ID card, a credit card, a driver's license, an IC card, or the like.

The respective structures of the card holder H will be described in detail below.

The card holder body a is integrally molded from a soft, flexibly deformable, opaque synthetic resin material. The card holder body a has a rectangular shape elongated in front view and rear view as a whole. More specifically, the card holder body a is formed in a shape in which four corner portions are smoothly curved and upper and lower end portions are gently rounded while maintaining the basic shape of a vertically long rectangular shape. The card holder body a is provided with a holding portion G formed with a housing space sp capable of housing the card C.

The card holder body a includes: a through window 1, wherein the through window 1 can be used for allowing a card C to enter and exit between the external space and the accommodating space sp; an engaging portion 2 that engages with an edge portion of a card C inserted into the housing space sp through the through window 1; a back wall portion 3 provided at a position facing the through window 1 and located on the back side of the card C accommodated in the accommodating space sp; and a cord insertion hole 4, wherein the cord insertion hole 4 is disposed above the through window 1, the joint 2, and the back wall portion 3, and penetrates in the left-right direction. The holding portion G capable of holding the card C is configured to mainly include the joint portion 2 and the back wall portion 3 which can form the housing space sp.

The card holder body a can hold the card C in the holding portion G in a state where the outer surface of the card C is exposed through the through window 1 provided on the front surface side.

The through window 1 has a rectangular shape elongated in length and is formed smaller than the card C. In order to hold the card C in the card holder body a, the user bends the card holder body a into an appropriate shape and moves the card C to be held into the housing space sp through the through window 1. Conversely, in order to detach the card C from the housing space sp of the card holder body a, the user performs an operation of flexing the card holder body a into an appropriate shape and moving the card C to be detached to the outside through the through window 1.

The engaging portion 2 includes a window frame portion 21 located forward of the peripheral edge portion of the card C accommodated in the accommodating space sp, and a peripheral edge portion 22 located outside the peripheral edge portion of the card C.

The window frame portion 21 is provided in front of the peripheral edge portion of the card C accommodated in the accommodating space sp. The window frame portion 21 is engaged with the front surface of the peripheral edge portion of the card C so as to be able to restrict the card C from protruding from the housing space sp to the external space.

The peripheral edge portion 22 surrounds the peripheral edge portion of the card C accommodated in the accommodating space sp from the outside. The peripheral edge portion 22 is provided with a plurality of engaging projections t projecting inward and engageable with the peripheral edge portion of the card C.

The engaging projections t are arranged at two positions with a vertical interval so as to be engageable with the left and right side edges of the card C in the lateral direction. The engaging projections t are disposed in the left-right direction intermediate portion so as to be engageable with the upper end edge and the lower end edge of the card C from above and below, respectively. The plurality of engaging projections t engage with the peripheral edge of the card C, so that the card C accommodated in the accommodating space sp is configured to be less likely to loosen in the left-right direction and the up-down direction in the accommodating space sp.

The back wall portion 3 can be joined to the back surface side of the card C accommodated in the accommodating space sp. The back wall portion 3 is provided with protruding portions v protruding forward, that is, toward the housing space sp, at two left and right positions of the upper portion and the lower portion, respectively.

The plurality of convex portions v provided in the back wall portion 3 can press the card C accommodated in the accommodating space sp from the front and rear in cooperation with the sash portion 21, and therefore the card C accommodated in the accommodating space sp is configured not to easily become loose in the front-rear direction, the left-right direction, and the up-down direction in the accommodating space sp.

The cord insertion hole 4 linearly penetrates in the left-right direction. A string member F to be hung around the neck n of the user P is inserted into the string insertion hole 4.

Left and right openings 41 in the cord insertion hole 4 are formed at left and right side edges of the card holder body a. Since the left and right openings 41 are disposed at the left and right side edges of the card holder body a, the card holder body a supported by the string member F is not easily rotated.

The cover B can cover the surface of the card holder body a, and in this case, can conceal the display portion I of the card C held by the card holder body a. The cover B can cover the back surface of the card holder body a, and in this case, can conceal the back surface of the card holder body a. Even when the cover B covers the back surface of the card holder body a, it is possible to conceal an article such as a sticker S recorded between the back surface of the card holder body a and the cover B. The cover B is configured to be attached to the outer peripheral edge of the card holder body a so as to be covered by elastic deformation.

The cover B is integrally molded from an opaque synthetic resin material that can be deformed by flexing. The cover B has a rectangular shape elongated in the same manner as the card holder body a.

The cover B is configured to be attachable to and detachable from both the front surface and the back surface of the card holder body a. That is, the cover B can selectively take a front surface covering posture (D) for covering the front surface of the card holder body a and a back surface covering posture (E) for covering the back surface of the card holder body a.

The cover B in the front-side covering posture (D) is a cover B in a posture in which the cover B in the rear-side covering posture (E) is reversed in the front-rear direction. The cover B in the back-cover posture (E) is a cover B in which the cover B in the front-cover posture (D) is reversed in the front-back direction.

The cover B includes a main wall 5 in the form of a standing plate and a peripheral wall 6 integrally and continuously provided with the outer peripheral edge of the main wall 5.

The main wall 5 constitutes a main portion that covers the front surface of the card holder body a in the front surface covering posture (D), and constitutes a main portion that covers the back surface of the card holder body a in the back surface covering posture (E).

The peripheral wall 6 is joined to the outer peripheral edge of the card holder body a. That is, the peripheral wall 6 extends in the front-rear direction, which is a direction intersecting the main wall 5 in the standing posture. The peripheral wall 6 is curved so as to protrude outward, that is, upward, downward, and left and right sides. The degree of curvature of the peripheral wall 6 is set to be substantially along the outer peripheral edge of the card holder body a.

The upper left and right sides of the peripheral wall 6 are provided with notches 7 for avoiding interference with the left and right openings 41 of the cord insertion hole 4 provided in the card holder body a. The cord member F can communicate between the external space and the cord insertion hole 4 through the left and right notch portions 7.

The notch 7 is cut into a substantially circular shape and is formed at the left and right side end edges in the upper portion of the peripheral wall 6.

In addition, when the cover B is attached to the card holder main body a, if the notch 7 of the cover B is joined to the string members F near the left and right openings 41 in the string insertion hole 4, it can be easily performed. That is, if the notch 7 is moved toward the cord member F (the cord member F is targeted), the cover B and the card holder body a are easily positioned at appropriate positions with respect to each other, and both can be smoothly attached.

As described above, the card holder H of the present embodiment includes: a card holder body A provided with a holding portion G capable of holding a card C; and a cover B that can cover the front and back surfaces of the card holder body a so as to be able to engage and disengage.

Therefore, the card holder H capable of appropriately covering the front side or the back side can be provided.

For example, when the cover B covers the front surface side of the card holder body a, the accommodated card C is covered, and therefore the card C can be appropriately protected from the outside.

In addition, when the cover B covers the back surface side of the card holder body a, as shown in an example in fig. 10, the sticker S as a sheet-like article, which is a small article stuck to the back surface of the card holder body a, can be concealed or protected so as not to be peeled off.

When the cover B covers the back surface side of the card holder body a, if the rigidity of the cover B is high, the ease of deformation of the card holder body a holding the card C in a visually recognizable state can be suppressed, and the card C can be suppressed from coming off from the card holder body a.

The cover B covers the surface of the card holder body a, and can conceal the display portion I of the card C held by the card holder body a.

Therefore, the cover B can prevent various information such as personal information and company information shown on the display portion I of the card C from being displayed.

The cover B is formed separately from the card holder body a and is configured to be separable from the card holder body a.

Therefore, the card holder body a can be used even without the cover B. Further, since the cover B is formed as a separate body separable from the card holder body a, the cover B can flexibly take a front surface covering posture (D) which is a posture of covering the front surface of the card holder body a, and a rear surface covering posture (E) which is a posture of covering the rear surface of the card holder body a.

Further, since the cover B is formed separately from the card holder body a, it is also possible to rationally make the color of the card holder body a made of synthetic resin different from the color of the cover B made of synthetic resin. Therefore, in the case of the card holder H, by effectively utilizing a configuration in which the card holder body a and the cover B are independent from each other, it is possible to flexibly set a change in a pattern, a color, or the like according to the job and the use of the user.

The cover B can be attached to the outer edge of the card holder body a so as to cover the outer edge by elastic deformation. Therefore, the cover B is appropriately engaged with the card holder body a in such a manner that it is not easily disengaged from the card holder body a, and therefore the cover B is not easily lost.

The card holder body a includes a through window 1 through which the card C can be inserted and removed, and an engagement portion 2 to which an edge portion of the card C inserted through the through window 1 is engaged. The card holder body a can hold the card C in a state where the outer surface of the card C is exposed through the through window 1. Therefore, the card holder body a can expose the outer surface of the card C and hold the card C appropriately without excessively restricting the visible recognition area.

Since the card holder body a is integrally formed of a material that can be flexibly deformed, the card C to be supported can be appropriately supported at a predetermined position by elastic deformation of the member.

The card holder body a has a rectangular shape as a whole, and includes a string insertion hole 4 penetrating in the left-right direction in an upper portion thereof. Left and right openings 41 in the cord insertion hole 4 are formed at left and right side edges of the card holder body a.

Therefore, the card holder body a suspended and supported by the string member F inserted through the string insertion hole 4 is not easily rotated.

The present invention is not limited to the embodiments described in detail above.

The card is not limited to the ID card, but of course includes various cards. The card is not limited to a synthetic resin card. The card may also be made of various materials such as paper, metal, wood, etc.

The card holder may be formed in a horizontally long rectangular shape as a whole.

The cover may be provided to be rotatable with respect to the card holder body. For example, the cover may be made of synthetic resin integrally with the card holder main body and configured to be rotatable with respect to the card holder main body via a hinge portion. Alternatively, for example, the cover may be formed separately from the card holder body, or may be supported to be rotatable with respect to the card holder body.

The holding portion of the card holder body may have any structure as long as it can hold a card, and various forms can be applied to the form.

The cover may be configured to cover at least either the front surface or the back surface of the card holder body so as to be able to engage and disengage.

The card holder body and the cover are not necessarily limited to opaque members, and may be transparent or translucent members.

Of course, the shape of the card holder body and the shape of the cover can be appropriately set within a range not departing from the gist of the invention.

The card holder body and the cover may be partially made of a hard member.

The specific configuration of each part is not limited to the above embodiment, and various modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
