Background

A high pile bearing platform foundation is a common offshore wind turbine foundation and mainly comprises a bearing platform and pile groups. A conventional high pile cap foundation is generally composed of an upper concrete cap and a lower steel pipe pile or PHC pile.

The upper concrete bearing platform is large in size generally, and needs to be used for supporting templates, paving a large number of reinforcing steel bars and pouring concrete on site, so that the material consumption is large, the construction procedures are complicated, the construction period is long, and the engineering cost is greatly increased.

Considering that offshore wind farms are far off the shore, offshore operation is needed, the construction environment is severe, the requirement of mass concrete on construction is high, and the construction difficulty of the traditional concrete high-pile bearing platform foundation is high.

For offshore wind farm construction, the cost of the infrastructure typically accounts for 20% -30% of the cost of the entire wind farm. Therefore, certain measures are adopted to reduce material consumption, simplify construction procedures, improve engineering quality, shorten construction period and reduce construction cost, and the method is particularly important for comprehensive subsidy in the wind power industry.
