step 2: sleeving the end cover (101) on the cable, and inserting one end of the cable, which needs to be butted, into the movable fixing device (4); assembling the movable fixing device (4) with the outer pipe (1) and fixing the end cover (101), wherein the movable fixing device (4) can slide along the axial direction of the outer pipe (1) and is limited by the end cover (101);

and step 3: butting wire cores of the cable with a wiring harness (301), and wrapping an insulating tape at the butting position;

and 4, step 4: the two outer pipes (1) are butted, and the connecting disc (2) is clamped and fixed through the outer pipes (1).

Technical Field

The invention relates to a cable connecting piece and a connecting method.

Background

The length of the cable is limited and therefore the cable needs to be butted at the connection location.

The existing butt joint method is to strip wires of two sections of cables to be in butt joint, then separate wire core parts, connect corresponding wire core parts, then clamp and fix the connection position of the cables through an external shell, and cover an insulating tape for sealing.

When the connection mode is used for the butt joint of small cables, the traditional fixing mode can meet the fixing requirement due to the fact that the dead weight of the small cables is small and the windward area is small.

However, when the span of the cable is large and the connection position is close to the middle of the cable, the cable is connected at the position, the sagging of the cable is obvious, and the amplitude of the windward shaking is large due to the large wire diameter of the cable.

Based on the problems, a cable connecting piece and a connecting method capable of realizing butt joint and buffering of cables are designed.

Disclosure of Invention

The invention aims to provide a cable connecting piece and a connecting method which can realize butt joint and buffering of cables.

In order to solve the problems, the invention adopts the following technical scheme:

a cable connecting piece comprises two outer pipe pieces which are mutually butted and a connecting disc which is assembled between the two outer pipe pieces and is positioned at the inner side of the outer pipe pieces, wherein a plurality of insertion holes are annularly distributed on the disc surface of the connecting disc, a wire fixing device is matched through the insertion holes, a wire harness is assembled through the wire fixing device, the wire harness penetrates through the wire fixing device, and the part of the wire harness positioned outside the wire fixing device is a spiral part; the end covers are installed at two ends of the outer pipe, the movable fixing device for fixing the cable is inserted into the axis of each end cover in a penetrating mode, the cable core of the cable is in butt joint with the wire harness, and the butt joint position is wrapped by the insulating tape.

Preferably, a storage cavity is arranged at the axis of the connecting disc, connecting pipes with internal threads are arranged at the axes of two ends of the storage cavity, a bolt is connected through the connecting pipes in a threaded manner, an insulating cap made of rubber is clamped at the end part of the bolt, the insulating cap is conical, the diameter of the insulating cap is gradually reduced towards the direction far away from the bolt, a plurality of convex separating sheets are annularly arranged at the outer wall of the insulating cap, and the butt joint position of the wire harness and the cable core is positioned between the adjacent separating sheets; and vent holes are uniformly distributed on the outer wall of the storage cavity.

The storage cavity can store the insect repelling and the drying agent, so that the internal drying of the device is ensured, and the power supply short circuit caused by air humidity is avoided.

Preferably, a hollow energy absorption cavity is arranged in the insulation cap at a position close to the end part; with the movable fixture in an unstretched condition, the end of the cable contacts the end of the insulative cap; when the cable moves towards the direction far away from the outer pipe, the movable fixing device compresses and absorbs energy, and the end part of the cable is separated from the end part of the insulating cap; when the pulling force disappears, the movable device rebounds and contacts the end part of the cable through the insulating cap to absorb energy.

The insulating cap is made of insulating rubber, mutual contact at the connecting position of the wire harness can be avoided by adopting the insulating cap, and short circuit caused by contact is avoided.

The arrangement of the insulating cap can provide the guiding function of the return of the wiring harness when the cable is axially displaced along the outer pipe.

The invention has the beneficial effects that:

1. the device is convenient to realize the butt joint of the cables, the assembly is more convenient, and the sealing performance of the cables after the butt joint is finished is better;

2. after the device finishes the butt joint of the cables, the cables can axially displace along the outer pipe, and the pulling force generated when the cables shake can be alleviated in a displacement mode, so that the cables are prevented from being disconnected at the connecting position;

3. in the device, the displacement of the cable is adapted through the stretching and the compression of the spiral part on the wire harness, so that the abutting position of the wire core is not subjected to obvious tension, and the disconnection of the abutting position is avoided;

4. the structure of this device is comparatively simple, and the cost is comparatively cheap, is fit for using widely.

The storage cavity 211 can store insect repelling and drying agents, so that the interior of the device is dry, and power supply short circuit caused by air humidity is avoided.

Example 3

A hollow energy absorption cavity 216 is arranged in the insulating cap 214 at a position close to the end part; with the mobile fastening means 4 under no tension, the end of the cable contacts the end of the insulating cap 214; when the cable moves away from the outer tube 1, the movable fixing device 4 is compressed and absorbs energy, and the end of the cable is separated from the end of the insulating cap 214; when the pulling force disappears, the traveller 4 springs back, absorbing energy through the end of the insulation cap 214 contacting the cable.

An annular groove is formed in the outer wall of the connecting disc 2, and an outer sealing ring 299 made of rubber is matched with the annular groove; a flange 188 is arranged at the butt joint position of the outer pipe element 1; the connecting disc 2 is clamped in the flange 188, the outer sealing ring 299 is extruded and deformed by the flange 188 to protrude outwards, and sealing is formed at the joint position of the flange 188; a first bolt 199 is matched between the two flange plates 188; before the two flanges 188, a sealing washer 177 is arranged on the outer side of the first bolt 199.

In the above technical scheme, the outer sealing ring 299 is urged to deform transversely by the clamping action of the flange plates 188, so that the outer diameter of the outer sealing ring 299 is increased, and the inner side of the joint between the two flange plates 188 is sealed by the expanded outer sealing ring 299 after the outer sealing ring is increased.

The outer tubular member 1 is provided with a small diameter section 166 adjacent the flange 188; a drain hole 155 is formed in the outer wall of the outer pipe element 1; the drain hole 155 is adjacent to the end cover 101.

The above technical solution can exhaust the water vapor inside the outer pipe member 1, and the outer pipe member 1 has the small-diameter portion 166 to prevent the water from entering the flange 188.

A connecting method of a cable connector comprises the following steps: the method comprises the following steps:

step 1: firstly, stripping two sections of cables to be butted, and exposing wire cores to be connected;

step 2: sleeving the end cover 101 on the cable, and inserting one end of the cable to be butted into the movable fixing device 4; assembling the movable fixing device 4 and the outer pipe element 1, and fixing the end cover 101; the movable fixing device 4 can slide along the axial direction of the outer pipe element 1 and is limited by the end cover 101;

and step 3: butting the wire cores of the cable with a wire harness 301, and wrapping an insulating tape at the butting position;

and 4, step 4: and butting the two outer pipes 1, and clamping and fixing the connecting disc 2 through the outer pipes 1.
