Technical Field

The invention relates to a net support for a table tennis net assembly, having a base support on which net posts are arranged and/or constructed and having clamping devices by means of which the base support can be fastened to a table tennis table.

Background

Previously known net supports have screw clamps for their fastening on the table tennis table. These net frames perform well by themselves, but they may come loose and slide when playing table tennis. Depending on how stable the rack construction is and how strong the screw clamps are tightened, the rack may also deform. It has furthermore been observed that it is often difficult, especially for relatively weak persons, such as children, to release a particularly firmly screwed net mount from the table tennis table. The loosening motion often results in undesirable damage to the table tennis table when attempting to remove the net mount from the table tennis table.

Disclosure of Invention

The object of the invention is therefore to provide a net mount for a table tennis net assembly of the type mentioned at the outset, which net mount avoids the disadvantages of previously known net mounts and is more comfortable in its application.

To solve this task, a net mount for a table tennis net assembly is first proposed, which has the features and characteristics of the independent claims for a net mount. In order to solve this problem, it is therefore proposed, in particular in a rack of the type mentioned at the outset, that the clamping device has a movable clamping jaw and a clamping lever arrangement, with which the movable clamping jaw can be moved from a starting position into a clamping position.

By means of the clamping lever mechanism, the net frame can be fastened on the table tennis table through simple lever motion. Based on the lever action of the clamping lever mechanism, the net rack can be sufficiently and stably fixed on the table tennis table by utilizing small force. Overall, the handling of the rack is thereby simplified in comparison with previously known racks to be mounted with screw clamps. Even relatively weak persons, such as children, can fasten the net rack not only on the table tennis table safely and laborsavingly, but also can loosen the net rack mainly. Furthermore, the clamping lever arrangement can be preset with a defined clamping force, which can be transmitted to the movable clamping jaw. Therefore, the net rack can be prevented from being installed on the table tennis table with excessive force, which in turn results in that damage of the net rack to the table tennis table can be avoided.

The movable clamping jaw may be arranged connected at a clamping jaw lever of the clamping lever mechanism. The clamping jaw lever can be connected to a base support of the net rack, at which a net post is also arranged or formed, by means of a pivot joint and/or a force support.

In an embodiment of the rack, the clamping lever mechanism has a clamping lever. The user of the rack can actuate the clamping lever mechanism via the clamping lever and move the movable clamping jaw from its initial or open position into its clamping position. The clamping lever can be connected to the base bracket via a clamping lever pivot joint and/or a force support. When the clamping lever is connected to the base frame via the force support, the clamping lever can be arranged at a distance from the base frame, which in the use position of the net support at the table tennis table is usually at least in sections above the upper side of the table tennis table.

The clamping jaw lever may be arranged between a fixed clamping jaw connected with the base bracket and the clamping lever. The clamping jaw lever (on which the movable clamping jaw is arranged) can thus be fed by means of the clamping lever towards the fixed clamping jaw (which normally contacts the table tennis table upper side in the net rack use position) with the clamping lever (which is then arranged below the clamping jaw lever) towards the fixed clamping jaw in order to transfer the clamping force required for fastening the net rack on the table tennis table from the movable clamping jaw via the table tennis table to the fixed clamping jaw of the net rack.

In one embodiment of the rack, it is provided that the movable gripper jaw is mounted pivotably on and/or connected to a gripper jaw lever. In this way, the angular position of the jaw lever relative to the movable jaw and in particular also relative to the table tennis table can be compensated. It is thus ensured that the movable clamping jaw bears with its entire surface in its clamping position against the table tennis table. The movable clamping jaw is pivotably supported on a free end of a clamping jaw lever.

The clamping lever can be arranged on the side of the grid facing away from the movable clamping jaw. In this way, the clamping lever is particularly well accessible to the user or user of the net mount in the use position on the table tennis table. In this way, the net mount can be comfortably mounted and also released from the table tennis table again. The side of the net support facing away from the movable clamping jaw may be the side of the net support on which the net support posts are arranged.

In one embodiment of the rack, it is provided that the clamping lever arrangement comprises a toggle clamp by means of which the movable clamping jaw can be moved into its clamping position. The toggle clamp comprises at least two levers which are connected to one another in an articulated manner and which allow a relatively high force-to-stroke conversion ratio. In this way, a particularly high clamping force can be achieved with a relatively low actuating force, so that the net support can be particularly reliably fixed to the table tennis table by means of the toggle clamps.

The clamping lever mechanism may include a clamping distance adjustment device. By means of the clamping distance adjusting device, the net frame can be fastened on table tennis tables with different strengths or thicknesses. The distance between the movable clamping jaw in the clamping position and the fixed clamping jaw, as already mentioned above, can be adjusted by means of the clamping distance adjustment device.

The clamping distance adjusting means may comprise an adjusting screw. By means of the adjusting screw, the aforementioned distance between the movable clamping jaw in the clamping position and the fixed clamping jaw of the net rack can be adjusted. It is particularly advantageous if the adjusting screw is provided with a locking nut, which may be provided with knurling. Thus, the adjusting screw can be fixed by means of the locking nut in a selected screwing-in depth, so that a selected clamping width of the net mount is maintained even when the net mount is removed from the table tennis table and stored after use.

The clamping lever mechanism may comprise a clamping element which can be pressed with a clamping lever against the movable clamping jaw and/or the clamping jaw lever. The clamping element can thus serve as an intermediate element and/or a force transmission element between the clamping lever and the movable clamping jaw or the clamping jaw lever, which clamping lever is adjusted for actuating the clamping lever mechanism. When the clamping lever is actuated, the actuating movement of the clamping lever is transmitted via the clamping element to the movable clamping jaw or a clamping jaw lever, which is connected to the movable clamping jaw.

The angular position of the clamping elements relative to the clamping levers and thus the clamping distance of the rack already described above can be adjusted or varied by means of the clamping distance adjustment device. The adjusting screw, which has already been mentioned above, can change the angular position of the clamping element relative to the clamping lever as a function of its screwing depth. The more the adjusting screw is screwed in, the greater the angle between the clamping element and the clamping lever can be. As the angle between the clamping element and the clamping lever increases, the distance between the movable clamping jaw in the clamping position and the fixed clamping jaw of the rack and thus the clamping distance of the clamping lever mechanism decreases.

In order to allow a relative movement between the clamping element and the movable clamping jaw and/or the clamping jaw lever, it can be advantageous if the clamping element has a sliding surface and/or is provided with a roller at its free end facing the movable clamping jaw and/or the clamping jaw lever.

The clamping element can be pivotably supported on the jaw lever. The clamping element can be mounted on the jaw lever such that it is pivotable, such that the projection of the pivot joint of the clamping element, for example the pivot bearing and/or the film hinge, onto a horizontal section of the wire frame lies between the projection of the pivot joint of the jaw lever onto the same horizontal section and the projection of the pivot joint of the clamping lever onto the same horizontal section. By selecting the position of the pivot joint and selecting the length of the lever, a particularly good stroke-force transmission ratio can be achieved, which can facilitate simple handling of the net rack and reliable operation of the clamping mechanism.

The clamping element can be pivotably supported on the clamping lever. The clamping element can be mounted on the clamping lever such that it is pivotable such that the projection of the pivot joint of the clamping element, for example the pivot bearing and/or the film hinge, onto a horizontal section of the rack lies between the projection of the pivot joint of the clamping jaw lever onto the same horizontal section and the projection of the pivot joint of the clamping lever onto the same horizontal section. By selecting the position of the pivot joint and selecting the length of the lever, a particularly good stroke-force transmission ratio can be achieved, which can facilitate simple handling of the net rack and reliable operation of the clamping mechanism.

The movable clamping jaw can have an end stop for a clamping element, for example, as already mentioned above. By means of this end stop, on the one hand, the end position of the clamping element on the movable jaw can be defined, and on the other hand, a force deflection of the possibly inclined clamping element onto the movable jaw can be achieved.

Furthermore, the clamping lever can be equipped with a clamping lever stop. The movement of the clamping lever beyond its open position can be limited by means of the clamping lever stop. The clamping lever stops thus prevent the clamping lever from hanging loosely on the rack when the clamping lever mechanism is opened.

In order to protect the table tennis table during use of the net mount, it may be advantageous if the movable clamping jaws and/or the fixed clamping jaws have a protective lining. The protective backing layer can preferably be made of velvet and/or rubber, for example silicone rubber.

Finally, to solve the task, a table tennis net kit is also proposed, having a net mount according to any one of the claims for net mounts.

Detailed Description

All of the figures show a net mount for a table tennis net assembly, generally indicated at 1. The net rack 1 has a base frame 2. A net post 3 is arranged or formed on the base frame 2. A table tennis net, not shown in the figures, may be suspended on the posts 3.

The net mount 1 comprises a clamping device 4 with which the base support 2 can be clamped to a table tennis table, which is likewise not shown in the figures.

The clamping device 4 has a movable clamping jaw 5 and a clamping lever arrangement 6. The movable clamping jaw 5 can be moved by means of the clamping lever arrangement 6 from the initial position or open position shown in fig. 3 into the clamping position shown in fig. 1, 2 and 4 in order to fasten the base support 2 to the table tennis table in a simple and comfortable manner.

The movable clamping jaw 5 is arranged on a clamping jaw lever 7 of a clamping lever mechanism 6. The jaw lever 7 is connected to the base frame 2 via a pivot joint 8 and a force support 9. The force support 9 is at the same time one of the two side portions 25 of the housing 26 of the rack 1, in which at least some parts of the clamping lever arrangement 6 are arranged.

The clamping lever mechanism 6 also has a clamping lever 10. The clamping lever arrangement 6 can be actuated by the user or user of the net mount 1 by means of the clamping lever 10 and finally the net mount 1 is clamped to the table tennis table. In this connection, the clamping lever 10 acts as an actuating lever of the clamping lever arrangement 6 and can also be referred to as an actuating lever. The clamping lever 10 is connected to the base bracket 2 via the clamping lever pivot joint 11 and the two lateral sections 25 of the housing 26. The two side portions 25 also act as force bearing pieces 9 for the clamping lever 10.

The jaw lever 7 is arranged between a fixed jaw 12 connected to the base bracket 2 and the clamping lever 10. In the rack 1 shown in the figures, the fixed clamping jaws 12 are formed on the side of the base frame 2 of the rack 1 facing away from the net post 3.

The movable clamping jaw 5 is mounted on a clamping jaw lever 7 in a pivotable manner. For this purpose, a jaw pivot joint 27 is arranged on the jaw lever 7 at the free end 13 of the jaw lever 7.

The clamping lever 10 is arranged on the side 14 of the net rack 1 facing away from the movable clamping jaw 5 and is therefore arranged in the position of use of the net rack 1 below the net post 3 and also below the table tennis table on which the net rack 1 is fastened.

The clamping lever arrangement 6 can also be understood on account of its design as a toggle clamp, with which the movable clamping jaw 5 can be moved into its clamping position.

Furthermore, the clamping lever arrangement 6 has a clamping distance adjusting device 15. The distance between the movable clamping jaw 5 and the fixed clamping jaw 12 in the clamping position can be adjusted by means of the clamping distance adjustment device 15, in order to be able to adapt the grid 1 and the clamping lever arrangement 6 to different plate thicknesses.

The clamping distance adjusting device 15 comprises an adjusting screw 16, the screw-in depth of which can be fixed by means of a locking nut 17. The lock nut 17 is provided with knurling so that it can be adjusted more easily on the adjustment screw 16.

The clamping lever mechanism 6 further comprises a clamping element 19. The clamping element 19 can also be referred to as a pressure beam on account of its function, since it can be pressed against the movable clamping jaw 5 by means of the clamping lever 10 in order to move the clamping jaw into its clamping position and to hold it there under a certain pressure.

By means of the clamping distance adjustment device 15 and the previously mentioned adjusting screw 16, the angular position of the clamping element 19 relative to the clamping lever 10 can be changed in order to finally adjust the distance between the movable clamping jaw 5 and the fixed clamping jaw 12 in the clamping position. The clamping element 19 has two rollers 20 at its free end facing the movable jaw 5 and the jaw lever 7. The rollers 20 allow a low-friction relative movement of the clamping element 19 with respect to the movable clamping jaw 5 in order to place the clamping jaw in its clamping position and to hold it there.

The clamping element 19 is mounted pivotably on the clamping lever 10 by means of a pivot joint 21. The position of the pivot joint 21 is selected such that the projection of the pivot joint 21 onto a horizontal section of the rack 1 is between the projection of the pivot joint 8 of the jaw lever onto the same horizontal section and the projection of the pivot joint 11 of the clamping lever 10 onto the same horizontal section.

The movable clamping jaw 5 has an end stop 22 for the clamping element 19. When the clamping device 4 is closed, further movement of the clamping element 19 and its roller 20 is limited by the end stop 22, and the force transmitted by the clamping lever 10 via the clamping element 19 and its roller 20 to the movable clamping jaw 5 is transmitted in the direction of the table tennis table between the two clamping jaws 5 and 12. In the open position of the clamping lever, which is shown for example in fig. 3, the clamping lever 10 is held from below by a clamping lever stop 23.

The movable clamping jaw 5 and the fixed clamping jaw 12 of the net rack 1 are respectively provided with a protective lining 24. The protective backing can be made of rubber, for example of silicone rubber, or else of velour. The net mount 1 shown in the figures together with another net mount 1 and a table tennis net constitute a table tennis net kit, which can be fastened to a table tennis table.

For adjusting the adjusting screw 16, it has a rotary handle 18 at its freely accessible end. The net post 3 of the net rack 1 is provided with a height adjustment mechanism 28 with a similar rotating handle 18. The net height of the table tennis net held by the net mount 1 can be adapted by means of the height adjustment mechanism 18. The table tennis net can be suspended from above in the net post 3 of the net mount 1. The net post 3 has a guide groove 29 from which the suspended table tennis net can be guided to another net post of the table tennis net kit and suspended there.

The invention relates to a net rack 1 for a table tennis net kit. The net mount 1 includes a clamping device 4 having movable clamping jaws 5 and a clamping lever mechanism 6 with which the movable clamping jaws can be moved from an initial position to a clamping position to secure the net mount 1 to the table tennis table.
