Technical Field

The invention belongs to the field of animal nutrition, relates to an additive, and particularly relates to an additive for promoting earthworm growth.

Background

Earthworms, also known as earthworms, are used as valuable pharmaceuticals for treating various diseases, and also as high-protein foods and feeds, and more importantly, earthworms can treat domestic garbage, organic wastes, purify sewage, and the like. The earthworms are common land omnivorous animals, and leaves, straws, livestock and poultry manure, domestic garbage, activated sludge, leftovers of paper making and food industries and the like can be eaten, so the earthworms can eliminate environmental pollution to a certain extent, and earthworm cultivation plants are established in many countries at present. Earthworms eat large amounts, which correspond to their own weight per day, so that the efficiency of treating organic waste with earthworms is very high, and it is reported that 40 tons of organic waste can be swallowed by 1 hundred million earthworms in one day.

In recent years, intensive large-scale breeding is rapidly developed and gradually becomes the main body of the development of animal husbandry in China, but small farms (households) still account for a large proportion, and due to the shortage of funds, the lack of technologies and equipment for treating the excrement and the great lack of the technologies and equipment for treating the excrement, the small farms (households) mostly do not meet the environmental protection requirement, and the survival and the development of the small farms (households) are seriously influenced, so that a new idea for treating the excrement and the sewage needs to be explored. In view of the strong organic matter digestion capacity and the wide feeding property of the earthworms, the method for breeding the earthworms by using the excrement of the farm is a better idea for treating the excrement of the livestock and the poultry.

The method for breeding earthworms by using livestock and poultry manure and crude fiber raw materials (such as crop straws, herb residues and the like) to prepare a matrix is the most common method for breeding earthworms at present, for example, 201510947686.X discloses a method for breeding earthworms by using cow manure and straw fermentation as a matrix, and CN201810702582.6 discloses a method for breeding earthworms by using chicken manure, straw powder and other raw materials to ferment as a matrix. CN202010033633.8 discloses a method for breeding earthworms by using herb residues of epimedium powder and cow dung as substrates. Because the carbon-nitrogen ratio of the livestock and poultry manure is low (the carbon-nitrogen ratio of chicken manure and pig manure is less than 20, and the carbon-nitrogen ratio of cow manure is less than 25), and the suitable carbon-nitrogen ratio of earthworm food is about 30, a certain proportion of crude fiber raw materials are added into the livestock and poultry manure, on one hand, the carbon-nitrogen ratio of the base material is improved, and on the other hand, the odor of the livestock and poultry manure is reduced. However, according to earthworm breeding experiments, the feed intake and growth of earthworms are adversely affected due to the increase of the content of crude fibers, and therefore, an additive for promoting the growth of earthworms is developed.
