Background

In the field of oil and gas development, staged fracturing operation is often required to be carried out at different positions of the oil and gas well stratum to improve the oil and gas yield. The pumping bridge plug and perforation combined operation is an important process for implementing casing staged fracturing, and soluble bridge plugs are commonly used to reduce the cost generated by drilling and grinding the bridge plugs in the later period. The adapter is as the key instrument that bridging plug and cable setting instrument are connected, and the structure is diversified.

Most adapters and bridge plugs are connected by steel or copper pins, release pins, or threads made of soluble magnesium aluminum alloy or polymer composite (e.g., 201920814089.3, 201921601665.2, 20202016989. X) on the body of the bridge plug. When the cable setting tool works, when the setting force provided by the cable setting tool reaches a pin shearing value, a release bolt breaking value or a thread damage value, the adapter is separated from the bridge plug, and the bridge plug is released. After the bridge plug is released, the residual parts of the sheared or broken pin and the release bolt cannot be dissolved in the shaft, and huge hidden dangers are generated for subsequent construction and later measures after a large number of the residual parts are accumulated.

2. The structure of the invention avoids the mode of directly installing the releasing pin on the bridge plug body, and improves the accuracy and the safety of setting and releasing of the fully-soluble bridge plug.

As shown in fig. 1-3, the present embodiment provides an adapter for a bridge plug, which includes a setting push cylinder 1 and a setting pull rod assembly connected to a setting tool, the setting pull rod assembly is disposed in a central hole formed by connecting the setting push cylinder and a bridge plug 14, the setting push cylinder 1 is connected to the setting pull rod assembly through a start pin 7, the setting pull rod assembly includes a setting pull rod and a connecting sleeve member connected to the setting pull rod, a spring claw 12 is disposed in the connecting sleeve member, a release bolt 6 capable of being broken is disposed in the spring claw 12, an upper end of the release bolt 6 is fixedly connected to the connecting sleeve member, a lower end of the release bolt is fixedly connected to the spring claw, a lower end of the spring claw 12 is supported by a support rod 13 to clamp a claw head at a lower end portion in a limit groove of the bridge plug 14, an upper end of the support rod 13 is designed with a through waist-shaped hole, and is connected to the connecting sleeve member through a radial bolt 11, when the release bolt 6 is snapped, the spring catch 12 can slide axially relative to the connecting sleeve part and the support rod 13 (i.e. the spring catch can slide in the lower connecting sleeve, and the support rod can slide in the spring catch).

In this embodiment, the release bolt 6 is provided with external connection threads at two ends thereof, and is connected with the upper connection sleeve and the spring claw through the external connection threads, and an annular groove is provided in the middle thereof. The release bolt 6 is made of special materials, and the required breaking value is set according to the materials and the use requirements.

In this embodiment, the spring claw 12 includes a cylindrical spring claw body, axial sliding grooves are symmetrically formed in the cylindrical spring claw body, and the plug pin is connected to the support rod through the axial sliding grooves. The lower end of the cylindrical spring claw is circumferentially provided with a plurality of elastic claws, adjacent elastic claws are provided with slots or certain gaps, and the end part of each elastic claw is provided with a claw head which protrudes outwards and radially relative to the cylindrical spring claw body. The claw head of the elastic claw is supported and clamped in a limiting groove of the bridge plug through the supporting rod, when the release bolt is broken, the elastic claw moves downwards to lose the support of the supporting rod, the elastic claw contracts, and the claw head slides out of the limiting groove of the bridge plug, so that the bridge plug is released.

The construction steps are as follows:

before running downhole, the adapter is assembled with the bridge plug as shown in FIG. 2.

After the tool is strung into the well, liquid is continuously pumped and injected through a wellhead to push or is conveyed to a designed position through an oil pipe. And after the designed position is reached, starting a setting tool to set the bridge plug.

In the bridge plug setting process, the setting push cylinder 1 pushes the bridge plug to move downwards to cut the starting pin 7; the setting pull rod 2 drives the bridge plug to move upwards through the upper connecting sleeve 3, the release bolt 6 and the spring claw 12, and the formed vertical bidirectional acting force compresses the bridge plug to set.

When the bridge plug is released, when the setting force reaches the designed value, the release bolt 6 is pulled apart (as shown in 6-1 and 6-2 in fig. 3), the spring claw 12 which is not fixed by the release bolt 6 moves downwards to lose the supporting function of the supporting rod 13, and the claw head at the front end of the spring claw 12 slides out of the bridge plug, so that the bridge plug is released.

During the process of lifting the tool string from the well bore, the setting tool brings out the spring claw 12, the support rod 13 and other components through the setting pull rod 2, the upper connecting sleeve 3, the press cap 4, the middle connecting sleeve 5, the lower connecting sleeve 9 and the plug pin 11.

The invention has simple structure, high reliability and strong resistance, can meet the requirements of high-speed pumping and safe setting of the bridge plug, has better adaptability with the bridge plugs made of various materials, can bring the residual part of the pin or the release bolt for controlling the releasing of the bridge plug out of a well mouth, is particularly suitable for the fully soluble bridge plug, reduces insoluble substances in a shaft and meets the requirements of shaft operation in the later period.
