The working principle of the invention is as follows: the self-priming pump motor 3 drives the impeller I10 and the impeller II 19 in the self-priming pump body 1 to rotate through the mechanical seal idling prevention oil chamber support 21, so that the self-priming pump motor generates strong suction effect in the inner cavity of the self-priming pump body 1, and is matched with the self-priming pump drainage cavity 20 in the self-priming pump body 1, the self-priming pump water inlet suction cavity 17, the front end water inlet 12, the side surface water inlet 11 and the water outlet to be properly amplified, so that an external water source can enter from the front end water inlet 12 and the side surface water inlet 11, thereby realizing double-port water inlet, then the water in the self-priming pump drainage cavity 20 is sent out from the water outlet by utilizing the suction effect generated by the rotation of the impeller I10 and the impeller II 19, thereby achieving double-inlet drainage, when a fault or blockage condition occurs, a user only needs to disassemble the conveniently-disassembled dirt cleaning cover plate 13 on the front surface of the self-priming pump body 1, so that the dirt cleaning port on the self-priming pump body 1 is opened, and the inspection and cleaning inside of the self-priming pump body 1 can be carried out, the motor and the pump body do not need to be disassembled.
