The invention aims to solve the technical problem of providing an air filter for a generator, which directly adopts PU material as the main material of an upper end cover, has better sealing performance, greatly reduces the production flow of parts, has higher efficiency and higher sealing reliability, and reduces the product cost to a certain extent.

In order to solve the technical problem, the invention provides an air filter for a generator, which comprises a filter material, a support framework, an upper end cover and a lower end cover;

the filter material is an oval cylindrical filter element which is vertically arranged, the support framework is an oval cylinder which is vertically arranged, a plurality of closely-arranged through holes are formed in the support framework, the support framework is arranged on the circumferential inner side of the filter material, and the support framework is attached to the circumferential inner side of the filter material;

the upper end cover is an oval horizontal plate made of PU materials, the upper end cover is arranged on the upper side of the filter material and matched with the filter material, an oval first through hole penetrating through the upper end cover along the vertical direction is arranged in the middle area of the upper end cover, and an upper convex sealing ring arranged around the circumferential edge of the upper end cover is arranged on the upper side of the upper end cover close to the circumferential edge of the upper end cover;

the lower end cover is an oval horizontal plate made of galvanized steel sheets, the lower end cover is arranged on the lower side of the filter material and matched with the filter material, the middle of the lower end cover is upwards recessed to form an oval table shape, a second through hole penetrating through the lower end cover is formed in the center of the lower end cover, and small sealing rings are arranged on the periphery of the second through hole.

For the sake of simplicity, the air filter for a generator according to the present invention is hereinafter simply referred to as the present filter.

The use method of the filter comprises the following steps: during installation, the rear cover of the generator air filter is opened, the upper end cover face of the filter is placed inwards, then the fixing bolt penetrates out of the second through hole in the center of the lower end cover, the rear cover is mounted, and the fastening nut is locked. When the filter is used, air is guided into the peripheral space of the filter from the air inlet of the air filter, then passes through the filter material along the radial direction and is blocked by the micropores of the filter material, larger dust particles are blocked outside, and clean air flows to the generator from the first through hole in the center of the filter material.

The filter has the advantages that:

1. the PU material is directly used as the main material of the upper end cover, so that the production flow of the product is greatly reduced, and the organization and production are more convenient; meanwhile, the working procedure of bonding the metal upper cover and the upper cover sealing ring by two parts is also omitted, and the preparation work of the adhesive is saved; and the quality defects of falling or aging of the sealing ring and the like under special environments such as high humidity, high temperature, low temperature, vibration, impact and the like are avoided.

2. The upper cover is made of PU material, and the problems of special mould manufacture, bonding and sealing are solved.

3. The process is simple, the appearance quality is good, the product cost is greatly reduced, and the product has better market competitiveness.

4. The small sealing ring is arranged in the second through hole, so that unpurified air can be prevented from directly entering the filter material from a gap between the fixing bolt and the second through hole.

Detailed Description

Referring to fig. 1 and 2, an air filter for a generator includes a filter material 1, a support frame 2, an upper end cover 3, and a lower end cover 4;

the filter material 1 is an oval cylindrical filter element which is vertically arranged, the supporting framework 2 is an oval cylindrical body which is vertically arranged, a plurality of closely-arranged through holes are formed in the supporting framework (the supporting framework 2 is formed by punching and welding galvanized steel plates), the supporting framework 2 is arranged on the circumferential inner side of the filter material 1, and the supporting framework 2 is attached to the circumferential inner side of the filter material 1;

the upper end cover 3 is an oval horizontal plate made of PU material, the upper end cover 3 is arranged on the upper side of the filter material 1 and is matched with the filter material 1 (bonded by adopting polyurethane material), an oval first through hole 32 which vertically penetrates through the upper end cover 3 is arranged in the middle area of the upper end cover 3, an upper convex sealing ring 31 which is arranged around the circumferential edge of the upper end cover 3 is arranged on the upper side position of the upper end cover 3 close to the circumferential edge of the upper end cover, and the Shore hardness of the upper convex sealing ring 31 is 20-30;
