Technical Field

The field relates to the field of computers, and more particularly to a server patch panel assembly and server.

Background

In order to improve the security of the server in the computer room, a security mechanism for detecting whether the chassis is uncapped by the remote BMC is additionally designed in the server, so as to determine whether the chassis needs to be routinely repaired by a maintenance worker or whether an outsider wants to steal or destroy important equipment. Some designs are omitted because there is not enough space for the mechanism, such as the item NF5488A5(note 1). Additional modifications to the mechanism for this safety function can significantly increase the design cost and are not cost effective.

Many servers do not have server uncovering detection devices, and the function can be achieved only by modifying the mechanism, but the mechanism modification can greatly increase the cost, and the cost benefit is not met.

Disclosure of Invention

In view of this, an embodiment of the present invention provides a server adapter plate assembly and a server, and through using the technical solution of the present invention, the adapter plate can have a function of preventing an upper cover of the server from being opened, so that the security of the server can be increased.

The adapter plate is further connected to the BMC, the adapter plate sends the received high-low level signal to the BMC, and under normal conditions, the upper cover of the case is installed on the case, so that the first end and the second end of the intrusion button are connected, the BMC receives the low level signal, when the upper cover of the case is opened, the first end and the second end of the intrusion button are disconnected, and the BMC receives the high level signal. Therefore, whether the upper cover of the case is opened or not can be monitored in real time through the adapter plate assembly, and the safety of the server is improved.

Through the technical scheme of the invention, the adapter plate has the function of preventing the server upper cover from being opened, and the safety of the server can be improved.
